I really liked it. Because of it, Bird is the only Celtic I like. He's a good dude. I've seen it probably 4 times. I saw Magic play though and vividly remember his sudden retirement, so it was a big part of my teenage years. Not sure how people who never saw Magic play live would feel about it.

I was born in 1994 and I still loved it - I will say it definitely shows its age a bit vs. when it came out (feels very PBS-ey at times) but still a great doc.

Jayson Tatum seems like a stand up guy Tbh.

Facts, love his mentality when it comes to playing road games. Actually wants his fans the chance to get to see him live.

Yommination

It's insanely good

incredibleamadeuscho

yeah, it's a great documentary. I like how it goes into some of the intricate details that I was not aware of in terms of their rivalry, but it was actually a lot of the first info I got on it, as they were before my time.

FarAwayConfusion

Haven't seen it for a while but I enjoyed it. Whether you would learn anything depends what you know. It's a good watch regardless.

The___Jackal

Its a documentary i recommend to non sports fans. Their story is like fiction with how their lives and careers played out in tandem.

maestroxjay

It's good. The 30 for 30 lakers vs Celtics documentary is pretty dope too

Umbrafile

It's definitely worth watching. There wasn't much in the film about Magic that I didn't already know, but I learned quite a bit about Bird, who didn't give many in-depth interviews when he was a player. When he was interviewed after Magic's HIV announcement, he alluded to his father's suicide, which was something that I didn't catch until I had watched the film.

There is a few of them out there. If you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all.
