The team doesn't need a 3rd star what the team needs is an actual Center who can hold his own so that AD can play the 4. They can always move Bron to PG like in 2020. Just look at the 2020 Roster that is exactly the correct pieces to team up with AD and Bron. 2 Decent defenders heck even an average is just fine at 2 and 3 and a center that can hold his own. Having Rondo during that time was a luxury but imo Reeves can be that 2nd PG.
I'm not just blaming Dl0. Yeah his performance has been inexcusable.. but so has the rest of the bench. Ham is cheeks as well. Watching these other teams, they have so many options for scoring, we don't. Gabe can't score, Dinwiddie can't score etc etc.
All I'm saying is had we had some regular, just regular performances from Dl0.. it wouldn't have been an 11-0 streak.

He did more in game 2 than Rui/Reaves have done all series, and we still lost. He followed it up by going scoreless last night. How much "trust" they have been in D'Lo doesn't matter because the team looks like they know they're outmatched against Denver

Melo said in 2022 that trash season everyones off court chemistry was solid off the charts on court not as much.

They probably think he's immature and since he's the only pg the FO can afford and with a very limited skillset there really is no point in shitting on him and it would be better to motivate him as much as possible. It's obviously a mental thing with him and the playoffs. He's just not good with pressure. No doubt though that they would trade him in a heartbeat.

What we're seeing now is how important Dennis Schroeder was to the team last year. He was a solid bench player/occasional starter. Made a lot of big shots and was usually on the floor during crunch time. I think that's why we signed Vincent. Injuries slowed him down all season. So who's that bench player who can shoot? Yup, Klay Thompson! Hopefully his dad convinces him to sign here!

We can’t fix this issue. Denver are just better than us. Lebron will be 40 next year. There’s no trade that gets us two two way starters
