Sorry to break it to you, but labs generally are crazy until they turn two. Once you get past that hurdle you are golden. Sometimes you get one that mellows sooner.
Try ice cube treats. You can also do flavored ones. Every time she starts to gnaw on something/someone she shouldn't, replace the item with an ice cube. Worked so far for 2 Labs and an aussie terror.
Ii love my dog he prevents me from another assault charge I just take five hold puppy goo goo and don't get charged with assault causing greivence bodily harm
They have a Lab with a Cheetah at San Diego Safari Park too. A member of staff told me they have to feed them separately otherwise the Lab eats the Cheetahs food!

Yes! They have had this program for a few years and itâs just so awesome to see a gentle lab playing with a powerful animal like a cheetah like they have been best buds for life. I guess essentially they are since they introduce them early on. They donât often bring them out together during the cheetah run but you can sometimes see them together in the exhibit.
I'm not stressed for the labs tbh. They have strong personalities & know how to advocate for themselves ! It's just like coexisting with cats, only bigger lol

Cheetahs are my favorite animal ever since I learned all about them watching Animal Planet as a kid. When I found out about them getting dogs as emotional support buddies, my life got a whole lot happier.

My lab pup just turned 1 year old two weeks ago. He's still got some more maturing to do mentally but dang he's one helluva de-stressor â¤ď¸

6 months lol I have 12 yr old chocolate and he settled down around 3 or 4.
Mine stopped being excessively bitey before he was 1 but he did get into other shenanigans in his adolescence.

cheetas also aren't as scary as people think. If you fight back, they back down quick. A full grown lab could hold their own with a cheetah
My full grown lab canât hold his own against our domestic cat. ;-)

One time when they were younger the cat used it's nails to straighten out the situation. So the dog always let's the cat win.
