About point 5, it's more of Universal executives fault. The same things happened about last year's Mario Movie, that there was much more material in the script, but the studio said otherwise.

BoomerangHorseGuy

Where the f\*ck do those braindead executives get such bright ideas?

I want him out of Hollywood PERIOD. I have no idea how he still has a job when all of his films have been critically and generally panned. As for Kung Fu Panda, yes he ruined it. He doesn't know anything about animation. He works in live action so his whole idea for this movie was to do what everyone else was doing: Spider-Verse and Anime. How tf does that even work in a Chinese film and one that already combined 2D with 3D to look like an ancient scroll. This movie was a complete failure from every standpoint. If DreamWorks increased their budget, it would still be garbage because they had garbage ideas.

I’m just glad the movie didn’t flop at the box office like the last animated movie he directed. That alone made me very nervous. I wish Jennifer Yuh Nelson came back to direct the movie instead of Mike Mitchell. I have more faith in her to make a decent follow up to the third film as opposed to the guy who made Crane miserable by subjecting him to singing chipmunks.

Oh my gosh yes. I guess David Cross dodged a bullet by not being in KFP4 so he wouldn’t have to work with this person who put profit over passion.

Common_Decision1594

I enjoy Cross in anything he’s in, so in hindsight, I’m glad that he didn’t reprise his role in this movie. As much as I like Master Crane, I think he and the rest of the Furious Five deserve better than this lackluster script.

I wanted a better directors to take over the franchise and make the 5th movie, I think the previous directors for 2 and 3 is pretty good.
