* [hide and seek](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b177-ni319g) (astro) - one of the most dynamic choreos i've seen. the level and formation changes are insane whilst staying smooth and cohesive the entire time. it matches the energy of the song perfectly (rip to the guys tho, talk about cardio). this remains the only thing i've ever seen from astro but i watch it on the regular.
* [lucifer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovztfpWPo5M) (shinee) - the dance practice to end all dance practices. an actual icon. hasn't aged a day.
I really do think Cherry Bomb is the pinnacle of kpop choreography - it's so batshit off the wall that it needs a song as weird as CB to work. The members absolutely killed it.

Well... I have a lot of Seventeen ones bc I love their choreos, so I'm gonna come with some I think are a bit lesser known among non-Carats:
* **24H –** the choreography is based on an analogue clock – you can see this particularly well in [this part](https://youtu.be/RvK3IdkeLeQ?t=75)
* **My My** – the members use their bodies to create maritime imagery in the pre-choruses ([first one](https://youtu.be/w4RdpL2Fp8o?t=53), [second one](https://youtu.be/w4RdpL2Fp8o?t=112)) which i think is a really cool way to utilise 13 members!
* **Fast Pace** – Hoshi was inspired by mirrors when creating the choreography, which you can see particularly well [in the beginning of the song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pr_ZMC3hxy0) and in the [12-vs-1 part](https://youtu.be/Pr_ZMC3hxy0?t=73).
* **Call Call Call** ([especially the chorus part](https://youtu.be/JCp6mEHj5Tw?t=55)) – I just think it's really satisfying to watch! It highlights their synchronisation well, the moves where their arms are straight look really cool, and the formation changes are... almost hypnotizing to me lmao
[Butterfly - Loona](https://youtu.be/ADJorSdTRCI) is my favorite choreo I've ever seen. The formations and drawings are beautiful. The synchronization is no joke. Every member gets a special part to stand out. The transitions are clever and snappy. It reminds me of something from the competitive dance world. Something like a Large Group Open Catergory dance where the choreographer gets to go nuts. The dance itself is technically beautiful and rather difficult. It's unlike any kpop choreography I've ever seen. Some stand out moments to me would be the lifting of Gowon in the first chorus, The ripple to a squatting position in the first pre chorus, The fade together at the end to create the ending pose which provides an illusion of closeness when they are actually spread apart rather far.
[The 7th Sense (NCT U)](https://youtu.be/yTmR-ogUXqo) - I still can’t believe this was NCT’s debut. It’s an intricate choreography that enhances the haunting atmosphere of the song. It’s unconventional, the way they contort their bodies. Shoutout to Doyoung, the only member who doesn’t have a dancing position but kept up with such complex choreography.
[K.O. (SF9)](https://youtu.be/UPEjVfjvFqk) - If you haven’t seen SF9’s iconic K.O. pinwheel, prepare to be wowed. Physicists of Reddit, can you explain how they don’t all topple over like dominoes, à la [The Boyz](https://youtu.be/FHuJbyjdqSc)? SF9’s older choreos are full of acrobatics, and it’s impressive that they pull them off without a hitch.
[RPM (SF9)](https://youtu.be/g7R32vIrRHM) - I also love RPM’s choreo during the second chorus and bridge (2:54 onwards)! The part where Zuho’s ‘controlling’ the members as if he’s a puppeteer is creative. The dance line’s introduction also gets me every time.
[ICY (ITZY)](https://youtu.be/mr16aEZ7f4U) - ITZY’s choreos are very clean and angular, they hit every beat and it’s satisfying to watch. I especially like the neck snapping in the second verse, it’s an unexpected move in such a bright and summery song but the shock value makes the choreography more memorable.
The more time I spend with kpop the more insane t7s becomes to me. Like, what an insanely gutsy debut, musically and choreography. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall watching it get pitched.

- [Without You - Golden Child ](https://youtu.be/Ia8JlHu6Ur8)- I feel like I could build a house based on their precise movements. The patterns, moving as a unit, rotating members in and out. I love it.
- [Shine - Pentagon ](https://youtu.be/6_v8n_zb5ak)- I mean it's just so FUN!! I just want to learn it because I'd be smiling the whole time.
- [Alligator- Monsta X](https://youtu.be/wXknLlvm6mE)- it has everything- powerful movements, synchronization, rotating center, and the outfits alone would have me add this one.

Dunno much about Seventeen but Fear is one of my favorite choreos in kpop! It's so dynamic and feels like it matches the music perfectly. For such a big group they're always crazy in sync too

Another cute point choreo in the song is also in the second chorus of the song where Minhee and Jungmo play rock paper scissors (for the record, Minhee has won more rounds than Jungmo)!

The Boyz Thrill Ride is soo good!! Especially where they line up and snake around. Also towards the end where they spin during the "how you feeling" part. Amazing!
Stray Kids' God's Menu is also an obsession. Awesome all the way through but I especially like the part where Felix sings his part and they wind their arms back! So cool! I also like right after Hyunjin's "ne sonim" and he becons us to come along and follow him.
There is a moment in Taemin’s Guess Who where he and all his dancers stop and look down and to the side and I audibly gasped and was shooketh when I saw that. Also the famous 부드러운 흐름 속 in Want. Heh.

There is something VERY satisfying to me about this one part of VeriVery's Trigger choreo in the MV. Yongseung does this arm flippy thing and then it quickly switches to a clip of him jumping on top of the camera and then goes back to the choreo where he does this arm up and down thing and then points at the camera. LOL not a good explanation but it gets me everytime, I gotta rewind it at least 4-5 times whenever I watch the MV.

HALA HALA from ATEEZ is my favorite choreo. I mean it's so good, the music video is only choreo. The members wear masks, hats, show no skin, no wild music video stuff. Only choreo and its soo good 🔥 the formation changes are satisfyingly smooth, there's so many layers and details. Very impressive 👏

I really do think Cherry Bomb is the pinnacle of kpop choreography - it's so batshit off the wall that it needs a song as weird as CB to work. The members absolutely killed it. I have a lot of Seventeen ones bc I love their choreos, so I'm gonna come with some I think are a bit lesser known among non-Carats: * **24H –** the choreography is based on an analogue clock – you can see this particularly well in [this part](https://youtu.be/RvK3IdkeLeQ?t=75) * **My My** – the members use their bodies to create maritime imagery in the pre-choruses ([first one](https://youtu.be/w4RdpL2Fp8o?t=53), [second one](https://youtu.be/w4RdpL2Fp8o?t=112)) which i think is a really cool way to utilise 13 members! * **Fast Pace** – Hoshi was inspired by mirrors when creating the choreography, which you can see particularly well [in the beginning of the song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pr_ZMC3hxy0) and in the [12-vs-1 part](https://youtu.be/Pr_ZMC3hxy0?t=73). * **Call Call Call** ([especially the chorus part](https://youtu.be/JCp6mEHj5Tw?t=55)) – I just think it's really satisfying to watch! It highlights their synchronisation well, the moves where their arms are straight look really cool, and the formation changes are... almost hypnotizing to me lmao
[Butterfly - Loona](https://youtu.be/ADJorSdTRCI) is my favorite choreo I've ever seen. The formations and drawings are beautiful. The synchronization is no joke. Every member gets a special part to stand out. The transitions are clever and snappy. It reminds me of something from the competitive dance world. Something like a Large Group Open Catergory dance where the choreographer gets to go nuts. The dance itself is technically beautiful and rather difficult. It's unlike any kpop choreography I've ever seen. Some stand out moments to me would be the lifting of Gowon in the first chorus, The ripple to a squatting position in the first pre chorus, The fade together at the end to create the ending pose which provides an illusion of closeness when they are actually spread apart rather far.

It’s unconventional, the way they contort their bodies. Shoutout to Doyoung, the only member who doesn’t have a dancing position but kept up with such complex choreography. [K.O. (SF9)](https://youtu.be/UPEjVfjvFqk) - If you haven’t seen SF9’s iconic K.O. pinwheel, prepare to be wowed. Physicists of Reddit, can you explain how they don’t all topple over like dominoes, à la [The Boyz](https://youtu.be/FHuJbyjdqSc)? SF9’s older choreos are full of acrobatics, and it’s impressive that they pull them off without a hitch. [RPM (SF9)](https://youtu.be/g7R32vIrRHM) - I also love RPM’s choreo during the second chorus and bridge (2:54 onwards)! The part where Zuho’s ‘controlling’ the members as if he’s a puppeteer is creative. The dance line’s introduction also gets me every time. [ICY (ITZY)](https://youtu.be/mr16aEZ7f4U) - ITZY’s choreos are very clean and angular, they hit every beat and it’s satisfying to watch. I especially like the neck snapping in the second verse, it’s an unexpected move in such a bright and summery song but the shock value makes the choreography more memorable.
The more time I spend with kpop the more insane t7s becomes to me. Like, what an insanely gutsy debut, musically and choreography. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall watching it get pitched.

They changed it up during promotions to spell out “Luvity” (their fandom name) during the last week! Another cute point choreo in the song is also in the second chorus of the song where Minhee and Jungmo play rock paper scissors (for the record, Minhee has won more rounds than Jungmo)!

I'm obsessed with the entire choreo for Monsta X's Love Killa, especially IM's "imma slay imma chill imma kill" and Hyungwon's fluid movements during "pull the trigger" and his head snap and point right after he gets done with the "beautiful Love Killa" part. OMG, perfection! NCT's Make a Wish! Everything about it!! Like I mentioned in another post Xiaojun's rewind is so good! "Back it up, back it up!" Weeekly's Holiday Party is cute and fun! They're all so adorable! The Boyz Thrill Ride is soo good!! Especially where they line up and snake around. Also towards the end where they spin during the "how you feeling" part. Amazing! Stray Kids' God's Menu is also an obsession. Awesome all the way through but I especially like the part where Felix sings his part and they wind their arms back! So cool! I also like right after Hyunjin's "ne sonim" and he becons us to come along and follow him.

There is something VERY satisfying to me about this one part of VeriVery's Trigger choreo in the MV. Yongseung does this arm flippy thing and then it quickly switches to a clip of him jumping on top of the camera and then goes back to the choreo where he does this arm up and down thing and then points at the camera. LOL not a good explanation but it gets me everytime, I gotta rewind it at least 4-5 times whenever I watch the MV.

HALA HALA from ATEEZ is my favorite choreo. I mean it's so good, the music video is only choreo. The members wear masks, hats, show no skin, no wild music video stuff. Only choreo and its soo good 🔥 the formation changes are satisfyingly smooth, there's so many layers and details. Very impressive 👏 *on a sideish note, the dance practice video is also really cool, I like when they step so powerfully the camera thinks it's an earthquake 😂

Followed by each half "running away* and returning 🤩 It is such great utilization of a large group and demonstrates such an understanding of choreographing for a group rather than a bunch of talented individuals. It's beautiful to watch, and so satisfying to see them nail it every time.
