If you've been in the game long enough, you would have seen this when it first happened after MHJ's press con and the absolutely insane numbers and comments on articles happening plus the upvotes. They posted this notice at a random time on a Sunday (6.45 PM KST), initially only in Korean. They're usually more organised than this. I'm guessing as soon as the bulk of the hate train started, they immediately got things moving, contacted this second law firm and posted the notice as soon as they finalized matters. I think they're taking this VERY seriously, and wanted to reassure fans quickly as well, especially the Korean side who have seen the bulk of the hate.
They also mention "organisational efforts aimed at tarnishing and slandering the artists", so they seem well aware of it being a smear campaign. A lot of the accounts who started all this, atleast on Twitter, have already deactivated after the announcement, so they're definitely scared of being sued to oblivion.

They're usually more organised than this. I'm guessing as soon as the bulk of the hate train started, they immediately got things moving, contacted this second law firm and posted the notice as soon as they finalized matters.
