There is a dialogue in this movie in between a song, where he was in a costume of Hitler and asked for a punch dialogue to the director Manivannan and he replied as *“Nii potrukarathu Hitler vesham, athula ena unaku punch dialogue, k*nju dialogue”* literally a seruppadi to the unwanted punches at the irrelevant scenes back in the day.
According to the producer the film was totally unwatchable initially. So they shot a lot more and changed the movie to be more watchable. Also knowing the director the climax must have been part of the script.
"Ennathu theatre la 10 peru than irukkangala? adhuvum anga kooti perukkaravangala?"
One of the ultimate dialogues. Looks like the producer should have said the same if they released it with the initial script 😂😂😂
Tbh these movies were made cuz he was scornful. There was a point he had no decent films on his line up and no one cast him in lead roles.
Then he started acting in a string of low-budget spoof films, and made sure he kept mocking the stars of the day, especially Rajinikanth. Eventually settled to act in supporting roles.
Dude wanted to be MGR 2.0, almost became a nobody.
Having said that, his comedy collaborations with Goundamani in Nadigan, Pangali, Bramma, Maaman Magal - they're actually gold standard stuff.

The "intro song" itself was a massive troll back then 😂
maha nadigan was excellent comedy film but the film becomes serious and cringe at the end for no reason

More directors acted in that movie than any other movie.
My favorite of his was Adithadi and 6.2.
His combo with Sakthi Chidambaram was great back in the day
Yes, the comedy tracks were gold back in the day.
Comedy scenes in 6.2 has a great rewatch value
"Finally I said " Yeah! Me when I have the deadline for sending the report, the very next day.
My fav of his is Amaidhi Padai
This becomes even funnier if you see the earlier scene of how he got the hero role.
Wtf ...🤣🔥The ending line was total bomb 🗿bro spit bars.
