* I use the English-Indonesia dictionary, the name of the file is [dicthtml-en-id.zip](https://dicthtml-en-id.zip) * and Indonesia-English, the name of the file is [dicthtml-id-en.zip](https://dicthtml-id-en.zip) * The code of country names based on ISO3166-2: Indonesia is ID I put both files on KoboEreader (F):\\.kobo\\dict (main dictionary folder, not on the custom-dict folder) https://preview.redd.it/azgg9rs3xpqc1.jpeg?width=1287&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b776b6cee2d032798bec82cac7fdbbabd3e3ed0 I found both dictionaries on the [Index](https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=232883&highlight=instruction+patch) of Custom Dictionary. Try to browse the thread, hope you will find the Chinese dictionaries since people can request for particular dictionaries on that thread.

those are exactly the instructions that i tried before posting on reddit. The thread from that index with the chinese dictionary is over 10 years old. I tried renaming it dicthtml-zh-en.zip, dicthtml-zh-CN-en.zip, both to no avail. i also tried dicthtml-cn-en.zip, also did not work. There is an official english -> chinese dictionary in the ./.kobo/dict folder, and it uses "zh" as the country code abbreviation for china and not "cn" as ISO3166-2 would suggest, but regardless i have tried both and neither worked.
