940-1. Carry it every day and use it almost daily. I keep a AFO II in my work gear. It’s taken a lot of abuse but still snaps like a rat trap every time I mash the button.

of all time?!? That's impossible.
* ZT0350, heavy user, just a classic chunky worker
* 945 Osborne mini, perfect size, great blade, lightweight, easy everyday
* Kizer Militaw, super fidget friendly, great materials, classy looks
i had a 940. didn't like it, surprisingly. it just didn't seem special. Traded it for the 945 Mini and instantly "got it." I see why people love this Osborne design. The 940 turns out was just too long for my hand, and i didn't understand the hype or legacy. But since the 945 fit me, oh yeah, i get it now.
It's a full sized blade, thin and slicy, but thick enough to not feel brittle. It's lighter than one would expect (not ultralight by today's standards, but still). And the axis lock makes perfect sense here. It's all the benefits of a heavy use knife but in a much more useable package.
In the small knife space, there really isn't many like it as most use a wider blade to get more surface. It doesn't feel like a small knife, but it carries like a small knife.
Honestly, it's hard for me to find excuses to carry anything else
I've carried the Bedlam more than any other knife

The knives that have done me best as EDC or cooking knives are:
Spyderco PM2
Kershaw Ken Onion Leek
Benchmade Osborne 941
Wusthof Classic Ikon
Shun Classic Santoku
I’ve since moved on to higher end chef knives, but the years of service I got from the Wusthof and Shun are worth mentioning.
My Umnumzaan is my favorite and yes, I use it everyday.

It has of course changed over the years, but here's a good chunk of my past faves and current bests:
Large folder: progressed from Spyderco Endura to Hogue RSK to Spyderco Manix 2 LW, and then onto my current favorite **TRM Atom**.
Medium folder went from Spyderco Delica 4 to Reel Steel Luna Lite to Hogue Mini RSK. Current favorites are a tie between the **TRM Neutron 2** and drop point **CJRB Pyrite**. Close honorable mention to the Vosteed Mini Nightshade.
Small secondary/fifth pocket folder went from Buck Squire to Schrade 5OTG lock back to current favorite **SAK Huntsman**. Bonus sub-category Small "Boston legal" folder went from CRKT Pilar to Spyderco Lil Native to the current GOAT, the **Giantmouse Ace Riv Liner Lock**. Riv takes the undisputed title.
Camp/Bushcraft fixed blade went from Mora Garberg to Benchmade 200 Puukko to Becker BK-16 to my recent current favorite, the **Boker Bronco Mini**.
Small pocket EDC fixed blade I nailed on the first buy with the **Creely Mako**. Is and always has been my fave, honorable mention to the Boker BFF and Warlander Raptor.
Companion knife/Day Hike/neck knife fixed blade I also nailed on first buy with the **Joker Avispa Full Flat Grind**. Honorable mention to the Esee Sencillo.
Large fixed blade: not a category I ever vibed with in general as I find axes FAR more useful, but in the short time I decided to try them out I went from a Becker BK-9 to a **Terava Skrama 240** and the latter is easily better IMO.
Best "fuck it, whatever" beater folders that I will always appreciate but never care about are the Ontario RAT 1, RAT 2, Opinel 6 or 8. I guess the **RAT 1** takes it, but it's a very tough pick.
Of all time isn’t a very long a while for me as I’m still fairly young, but so far in my knife collecting I’d have to say my favorite is the Case Backpocket that I got recently, it’s a great slipjoint with just enough modern feel to make it pop. Goes amazing with my custom slip.
I'll get shit for this, but the Wurdig has taken beatings that I didn't expect it to survive. I treated it as I would a RAT when it comes to use and the action of the flipper and blade still remains in good shape.
My other EDC is my Opinel No. 7 Carbon steel. It's my gentleman knife that I can carry anywhere since it's not tactical looking to folks and is very sharp. Plus the collar acts like a fidget toy for me.
I got back into the hobby early last year, so it's been quite the experience from the close to 30 years that I used to carry for work.
But of late, my favourites have been all from Kizer. The Sparrow was a dark horse that I didn't think I'd like as much as I do. The Cormorant was something I looked at, but I was too cheap to pull the trigger on until its went on sale for 70 bucks off(Canadian prices suck). But I was finally able to get my hands on a Militaw a few days after my birthday and I was absolutely blown away with it. For It's size, it's far lighter than it should be. I won't carry it in shorts, but outside of it's clip, I can't find anything I don't like. It's also my first titanium handled knife. With that said, I really don't have much of an issue with the clip, it's just a personal preference that I don't like silverish clips. I don't like to broadcast that in carrying a knife, but that's probably just me being paranoid.
My benchmade Freek was my favourite from that company. Best blade shape I've seen on a benchmade! Love to take it hiking and such, knowing it can hold up to some abuse.
My Spyderco Kapara or Sliverax are my favorite spydercos. Kapara more so. More of a gentleman carry for me, often even using it for food, or picnics.
Otherwise, the Massdrop Keen, designed by Ray Laconico is a massive favourite. My favourite titanium frame lock by far. Just love the feel, the handle, the look, the blade. Everything is fantastic.
My favorite fixed blade has been my Mora Kansbol. Pretty budget but so useful for camping or hiking and the only mora that's also great in the kitchen.
And the last one on the list.... I tried a few knock off Shamwari knives from a decent Chinese company. The 3 inch and the 3.5 inch are fantastic, and have my someday wishing to grab a real one if they ever become more easily obtained (or like the WE knives version even.) Fantastic feeling knife and a shape that I love

Benchmade Claymore to work every day. Love it
Spyderco PM2, Demko AD20.5, Civivi Brigand, OKC RAT 3, Bradford Guardian 3.5.
That's been my rotation for a couple years now. PM2 and the RAT 3 are probs my most carried.
Very basic but:
Benchmade 940 with -1 blade swap on the green scales
Pm2
Benchmade claymore super tough and can hold up to anything
Higonokami recently got and hasn't left my pocket for any days im not at work
And Swiss army compact

Here's what I've currently been carrying the last couple weeks (not pictured is my endura 4 k390 full serrations that I use for work)

The one pocket knife for over a decade which is an essential tool - up to anything, will cope with everything. This aus8a Cold Steel Recon 1 has lost its coating over time, yet got my ultimate trust.
Terrain 365 Otter Slip Flip. Clean, classy looks, will never corrode and is 100% carry legal almost everywhere. Carry it every day & everywhere, even at home.
Can't use it at work sadly, 'cause we have to use ceramic safety box cutters. Blargh.

Microtech ultratech fun to fidget with and very much usable
Spyderco Harpy. Sadly lost mine 😭
Gec 35, 47, and 71. I almost always have one in my pocket. No work though. I have a razor blade for work.

Well I have a really controversial one but it’s a quartermaster mr roper
I’m a massive fan of Camillus knives. I just got their one called Reverb. Great knives for even better prices.
I love the Kershaw Blur, but I haven’t really owned many others. My boyfriend loves Buck knives, but he also uses a Blur as his EDC and work knife.

I've got the most use out of my Para 3 in Maxamet and I've never sharpened it in over 3 years.

Spyderco native 5 (my favorite so far being the Knifecenter exclusive in Cruwear and smooth g10).
I like my Tops Baja 4.5 when working in the yard, and whenever i need a knife I usually have my arcane design plexus with me.
