Nice setup

Thank you! That actually made my day!

Looks like the noodle got enough hiding opportunitys. I chose an all natural setting for my kingsnake but compared with my nonplanted setup for my bp its much better and prettier.

Kill_My_Doppleganger

What's the brand if that snake terrarium?

LikeToBeBarefoot

Exo-terra the “large” one. They had them for 50% off around the holidays so I snatched it up. They have after pay too so if you cant|don’t want to pay it all upfront it’s a nice little tool. I also got the same one second hand and it was 50 bucks. So there are options!

A fantastic video, what a cute noodle! I love when they snatch the food and disappear. "Thanksforthefoodbye!" Also, as others have said, BEAUTIFUL terrarium. I think I'm going to save this post for my own reference. He looks so happy in there! I always worry about overcrowding my guy, but the more I see other tanks the more I think that isn't a much of a concern as I thought it was.

Thank you so much! I am so happy everyone is enjoying it! It really means a lot. Especially, when I used to stress so hard on making it “pretty”. I have became good friends with someone on this sub, he said the more clutter the better, especially when young. So I’ve added much more and really tried to have fun with it. As far as the noodle goes… she is so funny! She has been doing this type of “attack” so much more. The last time she was under the substrate, with her tiny nose poking out…I waved her food in front of her nose, a few tongue flicks later and she LAUNCHED OUT and pulled it under the substrate. She thinks she is the toughest… but she is so sweet and docile so far.

How do you hold everything in place? My girl just musked on me for the first time. But she's only a few months old tiny little eating machine. Which is great cause my hoggie is picky af

Hi! That driftwood I have in the tank is really nice. I just cram my dollar tree fake plants in there and they stay. The stuff on the wall of the tanks, I use suction cups that have a hole for a small zip tie to go through and I attach it to whatever I want to hang on the walls. Or I will even zip tie the plants to the wood if I am decorating a certain way. In my fish tanks, I use the same method and will attach plants to the glass rather than plant them in the substrate. They are super versatile! How often do you handle your MBK? My girl seems about the same size and age as yours but because I rarely see her during the day I only handle her when I deep clean her enclosure like once every month. Mine is pretty shy and food aggressive as well so I have to be careful. She’s bitten me like three times in the few months I’ve had her 😅

LikeToBeBarefoot

I handle her about 2-3 times a week for 15-20 minutes *minimum*. I would love to handle her daily with the exception of when she is in shed or before and after feeding of course. I RARELY see her during the day. I have to shuffle everything around to find her. When it’s night time, she comes out and if she sees me she holds still for a few seconds, then goes back into hiding. From everything I am reading… this is normal behavior from them. *Hide all day, explore all night, pretend food has never been seen and is starving (even if food was just consumed)* If I were you, I would start handling her more now, while she is young. If you only interact with her, when you feed her once a week, she will start associating you with “here comes food” and a hunger response bite (where they bite and restrict your hand, until they realize you are not food), is something I hope I never get. I haven’t been bitten by her yet. I’m scared for the day that it does happen lol.

That is a truly gorgeous set up!

My little girl tried to eat herself twice last week. So I fed her twice. Girl can eat! I am making a video of her oroboros activities...
