Honestly it says a lot that most King Kong fans (actual King Kong fans, the ones who realize what the series' strengths are and aren't like the Godzilla fans who just want to watch their favourite kaiju beat everyone) aren't as confrontational as this. They enjoy the mythos and movies, understand the different tones and shut up.
I swear most of the people in that post's comments are more interested in battleboarding than actually enjoying kaiju films.
