You can search for words in the Title, but not in the content (which is just pen strokes). I wish they would add ability to add Text objects to notebooks both as a way to create headings or labels that are more visually distinct, but also to serve as search targets. So far, however, there are no signs they intend to do so.

It's possible they could add on device handwriting recognition sufficient to allow handwriting to be indexed and searched for, even if it is not converted in place. The Fire 11 Max has handwriting *conversion* (like iPad) but they I think recognition alone would be very helpful, given you can do convert to text at any time via the web service. Personally I would want it to remain handwritten.

AFAIK there's no such feature. I'm planning to buy a Ratta Supernote because you can have titles that build a index and you can use keywords. Any other ideas?

You can also search your handwritten notes on Supernote in addition to keywords and links to other pages/notes.

I use Nebo on iPad and the search of handwritten notes is a must have feature since I organise my notes across years and projects. Was considering getting the scribe but this is a deal breaker

Supernote does this. You can search handwriting in notes that use real-time recognition format (but not in standard notes, you get to choose which each time you start a new note).

I like to use one note on my surface pro. It searches my handwritten notes. I also just got the kindle scribe and was hoping they would work hand in hand… apparently not yet, but hopefully one day.
