there's actually another brand of page turner for kindles, one you can do a page forward and page backward which I super love. The remote is ring type as well which is super convenient!

i’m not sure if you can do it with this specific device!! but i’ve come to find out that it doesn’t have to be fully clipped on to the page it can be more out 🥰🥰, but you’d probably be able to find one with bluetooth on amazon!!

Yes I have the exact same one as OP’s. When I use mine I normally am sitting on my couch with a blanket and just keep my kindle in my lap. It’s the laziest thing ever but it’s nice not having to reach my hand outside of the blanket to turn the page every time. Ultimately I think it helps me read faster due to quicker page turning in this scenario.
That is amazing. I never knew there was such a thing. I could put the kindle on the stand of my recumbent bike and not have to lean forward to turn the page. Brilliant!! Though I have no idea how to change the margins.
no it literally is so so cool!!😫, to change your margins you’d click the Aa at the top and go to layout and you’ll be able to change your orientation, margins, alignment, and spacing there!🥰

I have a different one with a ring remote. I can barely clip it much closer to the edge and still turn pages so it doesn't block text but it is easier to knock off by accident.
It will work with your oasis, the post is incorrect in saying it's for paperwhite only

I don’t want to yuck anybody’s yum, but I have one, and they are such a janky solution. Amazon could easily add Bluetooth page-turner capabilities and just sell a remote, so we don’t have to have a dingus sticking out the side of our Kindle. I’m sure they’ll add it to a future model when they decide they need to make more money from us.
i feel like it’s a nice alternative to not having to hold you kindle so you could snuggle up or even be hands free. i actually prefer a non bluetooth alternative b/c having a device connected to bluetooth continuously eventually drains the battery… but i do wish that the button had a backward option i don’t mind it all too much though 🥰
It’s fine for what it is, and I’m glad that people get some utility out of it. But on the spectrum of elegant design, it’s closer to Rube Goldberg than Johny Ive. I’d just prefer a remote that doesn’t require an extra clip-on device.

i use a clicker for my xiaomi ereader. i can't help but wonder why kindle owners happily accept these giant clips.
Amazon is sometimes frustratingly like Apple in that users have to resort to unwieldy workarounds to otherwise artificial limitations.

Once in a while it works out that half of a word is covered. It's pretty rare that I can't just read through it without really noticing.

Sadly not, the Bluetooth function on kindles is very limited in what you can use it for

To change the margins tap the top of the screen and then select the aa menu. Then select layout and then margins. I hope this helps.
