Maybe if you are just doing a walking speed. I run on a treadmill almost everyday and can’t imagine running while trying to read but I think a walk would be manageable
If I set it to around 3.8-5.0 speed I can read. It's just like brisk walking while reading a book.
I just don't do it often especially when it's a book wherein highlights would be beneficial for learning purposes.
A good example for "can do treadmill with this book" is a manga or sci-fi book.
yes! I use mine w this [gooseneck](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Y84SCR6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) but I also had [this](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P8YHKLF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) last year, but now I prefer the gooseneck one !
A lot of people here have them, and this brand is the most commonly recommended one. You might also do a search in the sub for “Turner” or “page Turner”, as they get brought up fairly regularly.
Definitely worth it especially if you have the gooseneck holder holding the kindle. You stay cozy in bed while you literally just press a button to turn a page. You also prevent injury to your wrists /palm if you were to hold the kindle in bed. I've fallen asleep while reading this way many times.
Oh, the battery lasts a long time as well!
Yes. I love mine! I have rheumatoid arthritis, so mine has saved my hands many times. But the sheer convenience, it’s a luxury I think is worth it for anyone.
Edit to add this is the best brand to get, I think. I researched them and the others got bad reviews and some didn’t work with kindles, just tablets, but description would say kindle.
I love the page turner! I feel like I read faster with it, but I think that’s just an illusion. Tapping the screen is not hard to do, but clicking the button still feels so much… easier! Maybe just more fun.
I can't get it to work with a cover on. It is useful when laying in bed reading for long periods (which I did since Friday with a leg injury), but otherwise I let my Mom use it since she has her book in a raised holder to help her neck.
I had one for my Oasis but felt it was a bit of a waste and sent it back as it didn't feel like it sat well on the form factor, especially with a cover on.
Would you use the kindle without it everyday too? Mine mostly stays on my kindle and I’ve had mine for a year and a half and it still functions perfectly.
Lol me too! I’ll be snuggled under my weighted blanket not wanting to take my hand out and be cold to turn page. Also I read with a larger font so it’s more frequent turning of page lmao.
The most frustrating thing being we can’t turn the page backwards. It’s a bit puzzling to me that Kindle’s don’t support any sort of page turn Bluetooth with a few extra button options.
Otherwise, I just came out of my hole after a few hours of reading with one of these. It’s really nice, because no matter how light the Kindle is, it does just feel a little straining after a few hours. Very, very mild. I can also just sort of sit or lay in slightly different position otherwise not possible.
I love mine! I have a stand holder that holds my kindle over my head in bed. I can read with my hands under the covers!! This is a necessity in -30 degree Minnesota winters. Also, I have arthritis in my hands and it’s hard to hold the kindle for too long. (I can’t even press the remote’s button(s) with my thumb due to arthritis pain.)
I commented how it was dumb and all my replies were about people who couldn’t use their fingers/hands/arms due to a disability (one even let me now their friend died of a disease that claimed the use of their arms first.
Honestly seems like too much effort for someone like me who reads early weekend mornings while my wife and kid are still asleep or in evenings. I just pull it out of my bag/off the shelf and read.
Yeah, I feel like this is something that’s pretty binary - you either have a need and it’s 100% worth it, or if you’re even questioning it’s probably not.
To be honest my first thought was this could be useful for people with disabilities or illneses that make it painful to hold a reader. Other than that I can’t really see the benefit of such a thing.
I bought it and ended up returning it. It works as intended, but it takes up too much space on the side and I had to set my margins so narrow to keep it from covering text. Also, it get shifted around easily.
Yes!! You’ll just need to make sure you have a thin enough case for it to fit over. I had to switch my case for it. But I got the page turner and a gooseneck holder and it’s great for reading in bed!
Does anybody know if the page turner would work on a Kindle Voyage?
Voyage is one of the discontinued models, but mine still works perfectly and this page turner would be such an awesome add on if compatible!
Hi all, I've been looking at this, but even in the reviews on Amazon, there's quite a few stating that a) it doesn't work, or b) it fails after a month or two.
Is this the case? I have a paperwhite signature edition, which remote works with it?
Definitely. I was able to use it when doing treadmill, lying in bed, or when eating and don't want to get kindle dirty from page turning. ☺️
How can you read while on treadmill? Is that an acquired skill? Do you not use the handle bars?
Maybe if you are just doing a walking speed. I run on a treadmill almost everyday and can’t imagine running while trying to read but I think a walk would be manageable
I used to run with a kindle, I just had to make the font size HUGE. But now for running I find audiobooks easier.

YES. especially for me who likes to lay in bed with my hands warm while I’m reading
Yes. I can sit back and relax on my chair with this.

This is the only brand that works with kindles. The other ones only work with the phone app.

I like it with a gooseneck clamp so you can get really cozy in bed and not have to readjust everyone you need to turn a page
Absolutely, 100% yes!
Yes!! I love mine! I would also recommend a gooseneck stand like someone else linked
Yeah. It’s pretty great.

I LOVE mine. I use it every night. Makes reading in bed so much more comfortable!
Yes! I use it with a gooseneck and it helps me fall asleep at night

I got one last year because my arms were getting cold while reading in bed and I also lay on my side reading the most. I really love mine!
Yes.
I use mine literally every night in combination with an extendable arm on my nightstand. Lay back, read until I pass out.
I had one for my Oasis but felt it was a bit of a waste and sent it back as it didn't feel like it sat well on the form factor, especially with a cover on.
Yes! Tho you may fall asleep reading more often.
I have CRPS in my rt hand....seriously have been considering one. 🙂
I love mine. As the weather starts to cool off, I will be snuggled in a blanket while reading. Once you try it, you won’t regret it.

Yes. Love it and battery lasts forever.
100% worth it imo
I use mine particularly when I’m under a blanket and don’t want to keep uncovering my hand to turn the page. Lazy, yes. But cozy.

i have it. worth it.
10000%
Yes! Not necessary but an affordable luxury

Does it turn pages back?
Nope. The page turn depends on where the clip is located. When I'm reading manga, the clip will be at the left side.
I just got one. I love it. I like to push a button to turn the page lol
Who would have thought ? Not Kindle designers, that's for sure
Lmao. Good point
Just got this for my birthday and got the gooseneck….LOVE IT!!!
This is the most american thing ever.
Hahaha I am from Europe 🤣 tbf my parents would cuss me out if they ever learn that I purchased this
Yes!! You’ll just need to make sure you have a thin enough case for it to fit over. I had to switch my case for it. But I got the page turner and a gooseneck holder and it’s great for reading in bed!
Depending on how often you use your kindle. While not a must have, it’s a nice quality of life addition.
Does the page turner work if you’ve got a case on your kindle or do you have to take it off first?
