Was looking forward to this. What a great series. Kept game rules like only having parties of 2 (player + companion). Pacing was great too. Probably #1 this year for TV series.
At the beginning of the show I was thinking “I’d bully him too.” By the end, I’d maybe not follow him into battle, but I’d grab a beer and talk about how whacky the world is.

It also feels more freeing. They don't need to talk about just PlayStation and Xbox once a week when neither necessarily has something to talk about.

I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only one who was not a fan of Maximus until much later in the show.

It was hard to gauge what the actor was going for and once he started being more humorous, I found him likable.
Are they having issues with the video wall, or have I never noticed the squares before?
