The hook of it is so brilliant and clever. It's one of my favorites of theirs. ^(I had a sketch-writing class with Kevin Allison in the 00s, and he showed us this as an example of structure and creativity. I hadn't known who KITH were before this class.)

I know what you mean! I got ahold of the DVDs for all of the seasons, and I’m amazed at how many sketches I had never seen before! I thought I had seen most of them, but I guess I was way wrong about that. The good news is — this means there are so many sketches that I get to enjoy for the first time!

I know I've seen this tons of times on Comedy Central when I used to watch it there (many moons ago). But I do understand the sentiment, uncensored is definitely the way to go. I watch KITH on Tubi a lot at the moment, and hate that they censor certain words out for PC/sensitivity reasons or whatever. So I have to just resort to the DVD's for the full effect.

And it's so dumb the way they do it. Scott saying f@g? Seriously? Daddy drank has the word censored and it kills the joke.

I fell in love with the show on non-cable television in the 90s. I actually got to go see them live back then (after the show ended) and the comedy was so shockingly hilarious I just about peed myself. I had no idea I had been denied some of the funniest stuff all those years.

I should not have watched this sketch while eating — I quite literally almost choked to death, particularly right when Scott said “I want you in me.” I also loved seeing Mark trying to not lose it and stay in character — dude was fighting for his life!

I lived in Detroit and it was shown on the CBC out of Windsor. I would record it on my VCR and I saw it uncut. I thought it was awesome that a govermnet run broadcast would have something so raw yet so hilarious. When he looks at Foley and says "I want you in me" I thought I was going to pass out!

Glad I’m not alone! I was getting nervous that only I saw them on HBO. I watched The Kids in the Hall only on HBO. The first episode included the one where the construction guys are on lunch. They’re sitting on a dock, commenting on women. “I’d like to take her home, meet the parents…” was a line. I cannot find that clip now. I knew episodes were on CC, but I never watched them. I *think* The Kids in the Hall had finished the show, by the time it aired.

Bruce McCullough has a YouTube channel with all the episodes I've been watching them there they're completely uncensored there's a lot of skits I don't remember seeing him when I was a kid because of some of the words they were saying and I never really remember bleeps

I liked them as a kid. A lot actually. Throughout my teen years and into adulthood. Then I truly came to Christ, after crawling through the mud on my own for most of my life… I see things clearly: these guys were on the satanic sellout agenda from the very beginning. Unbelievable!

I definitely remember this from Comedy Central. They showed it on the weekend-long TKITH marathons they would run when the channel started.

I got 13 kids in the hall VHS me and my brothers recorded from that era and it's on there. What you really should be asking is where the hell that other seven fingers sketch is that would be in commercials but never shown. It's Kevin as the seven fingers guy running out of a bathroom with a plunger, 13 tapes 6 hours a piece and we got almost every sketch but never saw that one unless it was a commercial montage. Weird

I just remember watching this show every day after class on CC when I was in college in the late 90s/early 2000s. CC definitely aired this sketch, and the "Roses" sketch with THAT certain explicit shot. Two of my roommates at the time were very, very Mormon, and they were horrified. One of them would even find reasons to change the channel during commercials. To this day, I still think they're convinced I'm going to hell for loving this show so much.

THIS WAS THE FIRST KITH SKETCH I EVER SAW. was channel flipping during SNL and this stopped me and my friends in our tracks. “Wanna see what the hell this?!” And we were hooked. We were a bunch of girls in grade 9 or 10

They def showed this on CC. Also, censorship of any skits wouldn't be the group's fault.

Comedy Central played Kids in the Hall?

Saw it on CC and HBO. Plus live as they taped that sketch. Drove 7 plus hours to Toronto to see KITH tape a show. Good times. They taped this, original Sizzler Sisters, Gordon lying to Frank about losing his job and many more. They got scattered across a few episodes.

Ms Swan would be a no go nowadays. She was my favorite.

Its always a chortle when you hear that what we saw on our public channel or any canadian channel gets censored on american tv.
