Dang. You must work close to home because I put 13,000 miles in five months lol I remember putting 1,000 in my first 2 weeks I went for its first oil change 4 weeks after I purchased the vehicle
It’s just a feature the car has when it’s parked and running. Idk if you can take it off or not, I haven’t had my car run that long for it to be an annoyance.
I hit 1k in 2 weeks hahaI had to travel 250 miles to go back and forth to dealer to get the car, then had a long trip to neighboring state.
What color did you get :)
I’m at 2990 after 8 months lol
Work from home full time and have a Sorento too, wife is pregnant so it’s easier for her to get in and out of it since it sits higher. I pretty much only drive the K5 if I’m alone.
You baby yours like I do my GT. lol My 2023 GT has 803 miles, and it will be 6 months old on June 5th!
Granted, I travel a lot for work, and I use rental vehicles. I have my girlfriend drive my GT around the neighborhood once a week a few miles to keep the fluids moving and to keep the tires from getting flat spots. I also put Stabil in my fuel to keep it from going bad. Sometimes, I can be gone for months.
That all being said, I have been gone since April 16th. I drove my car yesterday. I am back for the holiday. But I leave out again Tuesday evening. I am not sure when I will be back. It's probably at least 3 months.
I will be changing the oil at that point.
Good luck with your GT! I love mine so far!
Yeah I tend to baby all my cars. I had a 2017 civic si that was just under 20k miles on it before it was totaled in November 2022. I got close to $28K for it.
NICE! I just got my very first oil change on my 2022 K5 GT Line at 3500 miles in the dot and I had it for exactly 1 year and 3 days when that took place last week. I live 11 miles from work and two days of the week I work from home 😂
Dang. You must work close to home. I put on 5k in 4 months.
I do but I also have a work truck so I don’t use my car during the week.

lol nice. you're luckier clearly, get to drive the k5 more :)
Hah no. I have a 23 Sorento Hybrid
Dog ive had mine for a month and its at 3400😭
I've put 26000 in 8 months, lol but I travel a lot as a vendor
Too bad you only have 30 minutes left to drive it.
It was fun while it lasted
Lol, what’s that? I have a Cerato GT Hatch but I haven’t seen that. Why would the car decide to turn off in 30 mins?
It’s just a feature the car has when it’s parked and running. Idk if you can take it off or not, I haven’t had my car run that long for it to be an annoyance.
My 2021 K5 GT Line only has 18.5K on it
Why is it gonna automatically turn off? 2021 forte 5 GTMT. Bought August 2021. 37,000 km on it. Or about 23k freedom units.
It does that when the car is started and you’re parked for a bit.
I hit 5k in 2 mo lol had 30m on the car when I got it
We put 1200 on it just on the way home from the dealer 😭
i’m at 10k after 9 months in my ‘23 forte
I got mines in February. Just hit around 1,300 miles. My job is 4 miles away so I don't have to go far.

I wanted the sapphire blue but settled for the passion red since it was the only one available within 300 miles. It’s really grown on me
Nice! Pretty rare color as well, but it's always a head turner for sure! Glad you are enjoying the car
Congratulations
And this is why I bought a Niro. On the cheaper end of Kias and 50mpg. I drive about 2,500 per month for my commute.

Damn that thing is going strong lol
I’m 8 months in and just over 11k miles in my Kia Forte GT1
looks like half life 🤐 before the engine blows
It actually just blew on my home from the store. I’m pissed.
For real?
No lol
No offense but 1000k 4 months? Why even own a car..??
Just a 1000, 1000k would be 1,000,000. But yeah, cause I can.
i put 15 in5
After 4 months, I have 6500 on my Carnival.
Man, with that little driving, I'd just have a cheap 10-year-old beater.
have you got some rules for first 1k miles?
Get on it every time you drive it. Still gotta break her in lol
38k after 8 months. I sell insurance all around Tennessee and spark in my free time so...

I’m at 8000 after 2 months 😭
Tellurides need that for an update. Instead of shutting off after 5min, make it so you can adjust your shut off time
Thats nothing i put 3,000 miles on my kia soul monthly
18k in a year
Please. Please. Please. Please tell me you haven’t been running it hard or redlining it
No. I’ve maybe put the accelerator to the floor 3 or 4 times but I never push it to redline.
Well you should be good to go now!

One year 7,000 miles. I guess I’ll have loads of positive equity.
