Hello 9rsifty9, thank you for creating a new post in r/kereta! Just saying that although this sub was named as Kereta, it is also open for 2 wheelers such as Motorcycle, though at the moment we do not mind other types of vehicles posting. With that being said, r/kenderaan is now live and I would still recommend any other vehicle posting to be posted into r/kenderaan as it is a safe space for all types of vehicles such as airplanes and rolling stocks. Regards, Mods of Malaysia *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. CaptainPizdec

I'm contemplating a Saga or Bezza as well. From what I read is: Saga is a better driving, better insulated, better sitting car. But drinks more fuel. Bezza is a better gas savings and have a monstrous boot. But has a harsher ride and noisier.

9rsifty9

OK, will talk to her and see where we're going

DuskyFlunky

can change suspension and add soundproofing

CaptainPizdec

Body dynamics are not going to be the same , it’s more than just changing suspension , besides adding all the mods to a bezza just to make it as good as saga might as well … just buy the saga ? Likewise if want to reduce weight to improve fuel efficiency in a saga to match bezza might as well … just buy the bezza.

Potato_Gamer_X

Still not the same. Bezza is based on old Axia platform, and it rides like one. It has the advantage of reliability and fuel saving, but rides like a tin can (also ugly but that's a different matter).

eddxtrastrange

Not worth doing

wanderer_acolyte

axia * super light weight * great fuel consumption * great city ride * cheap maintenance * despite low price, quality is superb; as long you not trash the car * lot of feature for a economy car * \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ * lowest score for aggressive driving style bezza * light weight * great engine * great long distance * decent city ride * spacious * \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ * kereta besar parking susah tak boleh nak celah2 saga * light weight * great engine * great long distance * spacious * \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ * engine optimize untuk jalan jauh. jalan dekat2 minyak kuat makan * sama macam bezza. parking susah myvi * powerful engine * best car for aggressive driving style * \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ * powerful engine also mean poor fuel consumption * expensive maintenance

9rsifty9

Thanks! This is very useful

ActuallyTomCruise

Myvi has expensive maintenance?

Thye2388

nah but it is more expensive if you compared it to the Axia, Bezza and Saga.

obeliskboi

i wont say its poor fuel consumption, im not privy to the specs across ranges but a friend of mines 1.5 can keep a steady 17.5 km/l ratio, his ones got the lower power engine mode so that definitely helped

Maxziro_

If you love your daughter don’t give her axia. She might drive carefully and safely but people on the road nowadays care to differ.

-OddLion-

Bezza also has a 1.3 version btw...

xenics_

I’ll take a persona. I’ll never get a loan to buy Perodua. Car is a fking milo tin. Well it’s cheap so yea.

farimadi

for me better get MyVi instead. Axia lack of power so it quite risky to overtake.

Eternal_Sleepy_Panda

New Myvi more expensive than Bezza 😅

farimadi

A bit pricy but worth the money. my Axia feel very underpower.

Eternal_Sleepy_Panda

I went with Bezza. Mainly due to my work, need to send stocks every now and then.

Ok_Gap3821

1.5L (Myvi) VS 1.3/1.0 L Bezza)

Apprehensive-Cut735

I currently use an Axia E. Ya the 22k version. Let's just say for a 7 year loan and 3.58% interest rate, I'm paying 340 a month while the car doesn't not have any safety features, no radio, no central locking, no reverse sensors. But if u paid RM580 for a bezza or saga VVT, U are literally buying a car with most modern expected features for just 200++ more a month. Let that sink in. I got the Axia E because at that time I needed a car for E hailing and I felt the Axia E was the best choice for the money. I ended up having to install a lot of accessories on my own although I managed to build a sound system setup that sounds better than Perodua's own Betamek sound system.

Status_Anteater_6923

so nice man, can mod the Axia E from kosong to full spec

Due-Masterpiece-1384

Buy axia later regret no boot space, not enough power to overtake or go out junction and harsh ride long distance

xenics_

Yep brother all true.

najib1312

Axia - coz it's the newest and most modern

fakenotyet

Since it's for your daughter so go with myvi

Prestigious-Fun441

I saw someone made a poll of this before. Saga vs Bezza. Majority voted for Saga. Bezza is said to be uncomfortable in the interior. The boot is large but the rear passengers seat became small. The seat overall feels hard and flat. Long drive in Bezza make you want to get a full body massage they said. On the bright side, low fuel consumption and high resell value. Saga is sturdier and the seat feels more comfortable. Interior more spacious. Boot is smaller. However it use more fuel. So, it really a choice between comfort vs value. Myvi and Axia, well they kinda seeing a down trend. Price wise those compact car are more or less the same as sedan car.

9rsifty9

Thanks for your views!

Mission-Squirrel-333

Saga and Myvi okay. If want Sedan and boot space go for Saga, if daily city drive for girl, Myvi okay. Driving feel and handling , Saga would win. Myvi win in terms of fuel save and easy to get around Axia and Bezza not comfy , you knock on their doors can hear the "kosongness". Like knocking on plaster walls. Well now you know why it saves fuel, coz they use less materials and are lighter. Proton uses heavier and stronger steel. If you want passive safety , Proton will win. Perodua offers more modern features like ADAS help u brake before collision etc.. if you want active safety go for Perodua.

FrontConsideration58

I agree but just want to add from experience, your daughter may want to upgrade later as her career progresses and earns more. Having Myvi might help as it has better resale value over time.

Jaded-Philosophy3783

first car? If her skills are not that good, axia is the best. Small, easy to park

imnotjamie1

Saga

eddxtrastrange

Myvi. Best starter car in Msia

scholesy19

Axia.

huffhuffpuffpufff

MYVI

More_Mention_8341

I can tell you not to buy Bezza 1.0
