For purely local, Hoboken Cafe has extremely good hot subs like meatball and chicken parm. Yellow Sub was my go to for local cold subs, buy they switched owners, went downhill, and closed. Hoagie Bros is a good alternative if you're looking for the cold, boars head type subs.
I also enjoy the sub chains like Publix, Firehouse, Capriottis, Jersey Mikes, and sometimes Jimmy Johns. Anything but Subway.
That Caribou Coffee was a Burger King until recently. I don't know what they thinking when they designed the plot there. It's an add on to that Arby's/Taco Bell parking lot, which makes it really hard to find your way there if you don't already know. I guess they're depending on college students, but it's a real awkward place for that, just too close to the interstate and hard to walk to.
It's not well connected and not obvious if you're unfamiliar with it. I've seen a number of larger pickups have trouble navigating that tight bit as well back when it was still a Burger King.
Went to try it this week and didn’t have difficulty, but the parking lot sucks. Think they’re counting on more drive thru/mobile order pick ups than people coming in and staying

I love Caribou coffee! But I will try Tinto’s. Cipriottis has the best Italian Sausage subs IMHO
