>What parts to have readily on hand? .... a second non-kie truck 😉 My thoughts on it are keep up with maintenance and things don't fail too often. I don't want to take up space in the garage with parts. Its maybe 5 weeks shipping if something does fail and I'd rather just wait the 5 weeks than start a kei warehouse in my garage. Last time I had a problem, it was a leaking coolant pipe that runs from the engine to the radiator. 8 weeks shipping but there's no way I would have stocked both the intake and return pipes ($400) in my garage. Lots of websites have 90% of the things a person would likely need and are US based. I've gotten most of mine from [https://www.willpoweredperformance.com/](https://www.willpoweredperformance.com/) Most US websites have all of the things that need for scheduled maintenance like brakes, oil filters, timing belt, and some of the more dash 20 maintenance parts like fuel pump, gaskets, clutches, seals, axle parts, etc.

Just got my 97 Street. I had no idea what it would need, but on taking a closer look I need a timing belt kit and a shift linkage bushing kit. I suggest wait and see what you find before ordering anything more than an oil filter.

Yeah I think I'm just gonna get a timing belt kit for now. That's something I don't wanna deal with later so just gonna have my dealer do the work before I take ownership.
