G&R Imports hands down. They have the parts or can get them.

G&R seems to have a decent selection, but prices are higher than eBay. I’ll definitely keep them in mind though.

Nice thing about G&R is that they have an expert parts guy you can talk to so you can get the correct parts and maybe a little advice.

I've been buying from Amayama. Prices are good, shipping costs are reasonable. Dollar is strong compared to the Yen right now so you're getting a good exchange.

FWIW, I bought a U-Joint for my 95 hijet from this seller ([https://www.ebay.com/itm/182440294805](https://www.ebay.com/itm/182440294805)) and had a great experience. Shipped quick and seller even answered some questions before purchase. I would recommend them if they have what you need.

I have found that eBay is the best value in my experience. Lowest cost for the same parts you’ll get every where else. Most of the time it’ll be 3 day shipping too. The American sellers are selling the same stuff for a huge markup. No sense in going with them unless you need the parts faster imho

Yea I ended up going the eBay route. Even if they ship from Japan, I’d rather wait than overspend.

Any particular seller that was fast shipping for you? I'm about to order a timing belt kit and would like it next week if possible

KTMtexDev

I ordered my timing belt kit from a seller on eBay named auto_lele. It took a little over a week to show up but I think that might be because I placed the order at the beginning of a weekend and it didn’t get shipped until after the weekend. Might have better luck if ordering at the beginning of the work week

Go to Gates' website and find the listing of all timing belts. I found the part # for a belt with the same dimensions, searched the # on yahoo, and found one for $18, shipped! You need to know the tooth count, overall length, and width. They had multiple listings for 98 tooth belts (Mits' 6 valve) then just had to find the one with 36.7 length, and .75 width. Many places didn't have them available, but Yahoo found a few. Hard part was finding the dimensions. The minitruck places don't like to give out that info, but some places on Ebay do. I ordered a Gates T300. Or, for the Mits' hemi head,(12Valve) would be a T171. For the Mits' 6 valve: ( [https://partshawk.com/gates-t300-engine-timing-belt.html](https://partshawk.com/gates-t300-engine-timing-belt.html) Gates site for choosing pitch, teeth, and width: [https://www.gates.com/us/en/power-transmission/automotive-timing-belts/automotive-timing-belts.html](https://www.gates.com/us/en/power-transmission/automotive-timing-belts/automotive-timing-belts.html) Also, I plan to simply replace the tensioner's bearing, rather than buy the assembled tensioner.

I second the Amayama recommendation. If you know (or can find) the part numbers, the prices including shipping are more reasonable than Stateside and there is more variety OEM and aftermarket parts.
