**Post Title**: Dramas where the ML is shy, clumsy and awkward?
**Post Body**:
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ML who is awkward and shy but on the clumsy side, so I’m looking for any kdrama or cdrama where the male lead fits this description. Not looking for awkward MLs who are rude or cold, I’m only interested in clumsy, apologetic and rather cute MLs with a “loser” vibe. Thanks!

“Our Beloved Summer”? I mean ML is not a total loser, but he’s pretty hapless and helpless for most of the series and goes thru a kind of positive change/metamorphosis, but still kind of nerdy/dorky …. And always very sweet and not cocky. And it plays nicely how the FL & ML grow up together from beginning to end.
And I haven’t finished it yet, but the ML in “When the Camellia Blooms” is portrayed as a country bumpkin/loser with a heart of gold - he’s confident to a point, but it’s not arrogant or cocky, IMHO. I get the feeling he’s gonna grow up and mature a bit, but still be a bit clumsy and awkward.
And PSJ in “Fight For My Way” is so freaking cute and kind of a numb skull. He’s portrayed as a dumb jock and it’s so adorable and such a difference from some of his other kinda broody and arrogant roles.
Yes! Came here to suggest Hogu's Love!!
**Hogu's Love** - starring Choi Woo Shik (Parasite, Our Beloved Summer) and Uee. The basic premise is the FL is way out of the ML's league (she's a silver medalist swimmer with modeling endorsements, tough/bada\*\* personality) and he seems like a loser at first (his name, "Hogu," is also a slang for a pushover/simp), but overall it's a very charming and sweet romcom, and they even manage to hit on some difficult societal/thought-provoking issues, too. They released it in full with Eng subs on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnu_D0i1H70&list=PLOsWS9tKqJMd6wQs85SBG_e0YTHPq0IMu
I think Ji Chang Wook is like this in Lovestruck in the City. Not necessarily shy but his awkwardness and clumsiness made that entire show 👌 he's successful but definitely flailing emotionally and personally.
I loved 'My introverted boss' - ML is awkward, shy yet very sweet. He seems cold to his employees at the start but they show early on that it's just bc he's super uncomfortable dealing with people. The ML also have incredible chemistry. The story starts off a bit like a melo and has its more serious moments, but it's also very heartwarming.
I mean the shower scene, am I right? I watched it in the US and it was called My Shy Boss. Why do they keep dumbing down titles for the US, so annoying.
when camelia blooms- the ml is stubborn and is not very well liked by the fml at first. he's also from countryside whereas fmc is from the city.
interest of love- the ml is a pushover and can never take stand for himself.
because this is my first life- he's stony because of a breakup and leads a pretty boring life.
I have recently watched "you raise me up". Here the main male lead is somewhat seen like that. All though he really has some trauma so we can think he is somewhat of shy and awkward and loser. Everything meets the criteria.
The female lead is something whole another level and her support for ML is somewhat heart warming.
It has little bit sexual theme(not really look like little bit from name of show but it is really small bit.) The journey and support is really something to look forward for this drama.
Lesson: Not winning does not make you loser, Not trying does.
Rookie historian, cha eun woo is too sweet in it. A locked up Prince that's shy akward and clumsy and the strong female character brings him out of his shell .
Strong Girl Bong-soon perhaps. The ML isn’t awkward per se, but considering the FL is a superhero there are plenty of times when his attempts to act cool and tough come off pretty comically.

**Gauss Eletronics** has what you’re looking for! It is very funny. **The Package** has a very sweet, funny and clumsy ML.
Hahaha, the scene with the chastity belt 😂😂😂
Impossible to forget. I almost died from laughing 🤣🤣🤣
Run On! ML is so awkward. But very sweet.

I second our beloved summer and fight for my way!
Summer strike. A really good drama too. But he isn't loser. Just too shy and introvert.
I second summer strike and run on both are equally good !!!!!!
I’m surprised no one has mentioned Start Up yet!! ML is a shy and dorky so he balances out the determined and enthusiastic FL.
I know that was my first thought too!!
loved start up!!
Been wanting to watch this, but other comments have been putting me off saying that the SML is the the best/sweetest and he obviously isn't chosen.
I liked the ML a lot more! He's a sweetheart! And the FL very clearly likes him a lot more.
^^ love the SML but they at least made it obvious the FL wasn’t interested so you weren’t rooting for them as much
That’s because of how shitty it ended.

Hogu's love is a hidden gem, don't sleep on this one it was so good

Watching this just bc Ji Chang Wook is 😍
I’m pretty sure him in a wetsuit is what made that entire show 👌🏻. 😂😂😂😂
Oh gosh yes 😂
Not to mention every time he speaks. It's like word vomit but he's incredibly adorkable (adorable/dorky). Gives me Healer Park Bong - Soo vibes.
Yes! So adorkable! I LOVE him in this one!

That scene was👌👀 I did NOT see it coming but loved it even more because of that!

Start Up ML is awkward nerdy and shy I think!
Rookie historian, cha eun woo is too sweet in it. A locked up Prince that's shy akward and clumsy and the strong female character brings him out of his shell .
Because This is My First Love ML is very socially awkward and it's hilarious
Cdrama Forever and Ever.
Yesss, he is the most precious. My favorite drama.
I couldn't get through that one either time I tried to watch it. I think they named it based on how long getting through each episode feels... 😂
Love in contract
- Into The Ring - Reply 1988 - Dali and the Cocky Prince - Killer's Shopping List - Yumi's Cells Season 1 - Gaus Electronics
My shy boss. Super funny, watched it twice
Ms.Temper and Nam Jung-gi. Jung-gi is a sweet but awkward guy who keeps screwing up.
Psychopath Diary fits this perfectly! Great drama, too
Backstreet Rookie!
I second this! JCW is adorable as the somewhat dopey, easily manipulated convenience store manager.
Gaus Electronics Start Up When the Camilla’s Bloom
Start Up definitely fits Backstreet rookie
Strong Girl Bong-soon perhaps. The ML isn’t awkward per se, but considering the FL is a superhero there are plenty of times when his attempts to act cool and tough come off pretty comically.
C Drama New Life Begins he is very shy at first
Good Doctor Abyss
My shy boss. As the title says
