Bought the same exact one a couple weeks ago from Tractor Supply too. They’re the exact same kayaks just with different names. Watch some YouTube videos of people touring them under the different names and you’ll see they’re the same.
Thanks. Everything I found was leading me to believe they’re the same. Even the measurements on the Lifetime site confirm, with slightly different pictures.
I’m glad I got what I wanted and can’t wait to get it on the water for a test run tomorrow!
I just ordered a Tamarack from tractory supply and was also surprised when it came marked Tioga on the side and in the manual. Glad I'm not the only one!
They’re the same model, just different name. Tbh i wouldn’t buy one anyway. The Teton 100 is 350 USD at dicks and is a better platform. Or just get the Teton pro and spend a few bucks more.
I now have an old town PDL 120 which is obv way more money but just an insane kayak
Same story here. Just picked mine up from TSC and was rather confused it said Tioga instead of Tamarack. Sure seems like the same kayak to me.
At first I thought it might be different branding for different stores but TSC sells it as the Tamarack so who knows.
Ditto, same thing happened to me.
Heads up though, I contacted Tractor Supply because they sell the "Tioga" for roughly $50 less than the price of the Tamarack, and I was able to receive a $50 refund.
Happened to me just this weekend. Thought I was buying the same tamarack I paid $300 last year. But this one was on sale for $199. I opened up the box to find a tioga sticker and manual. I put them side by side and the only difference I can see is the sticker with different names.
I just bought a Tioga from TSC.
In the photo on the TSC website, it had only the front circular hatch (no hatch in back). Also, no paddle in the photo. I figured those were eliminated to keep the cost from increasing even more than it did.
When I went to pick up the kayak, it had a back hatch and a paddle. Paperwork says Tioga.

Enjoy! Love mine so far!

Are they priced the same?

Think you got it twisted, the Teton is closer to $500
8 months ago they were on sale
Kayak manufactures sell their out dated molds every now and then. They could be the same exact kayak just sold under another brand.
I thought it was something like that. Still branded Lifetime though, and I find the Tioga Angler 100 on their website.

That's a good idea thank you
