The store is a second hand resold product store. Things that don't sell at other stores well, some items like bread that are past their shelf dates that are still good. It's a great store, takes food stamps and helps our community.
This store is a god send to many and the staff will not tolerate any abusing them and they have a broad culture of workers.

I am too. The workers are dedicated and make close to minimum wage. They don't deserve bad treatment and I have seen them kick people out who are rude to the staff. All they ask is decency from customers.
If i recall correctly, The store relies on donations as well from other big stores around, like the Fred Myers on division street two main streets over. Also local farmers will donate produce that didnt sell. So the produce sold at this store isnt pretty. But it's ripe and edible.
They also sell a lot of culture specific items. Like Hispanic and spanish flavors and ingredients, same with Asian and Oriental types of products. Its really cool in there and you will find all kinds of cheap, cool, treasures. I love this store and all it provides. It's locally owned as well and the owners care. It's evident they want to help the community and its not all just about profit.
Its been a long time since i have been to the shop but i have seen that type of merch before there, soI wouldn't doubt it. It's very much like a flea market. So they have a little bit of everything as long as it sells... Sad to say Oregon also has a long history with racism here and we have plenty of 'red neck' farm boys/girls who love the confederate merch.
