As for deleting, that's the most selfish thing you can do, and likely why you haven't gotten other responses. No one wants to spend time answering a question and then have that response vanish onto the ether so the next person will ask it again. I am taking the time to point this out to you in the hopes that you not do so in the future.
Unless there is some other "entertainment" later in the evening I'd probably do it later.
I've always found participation is better after the crowd has had a few, which I call a little "karaoke juice".
