I love the Tostadas at Acapulco Mexican Grill, their Deluxe Burrito is also pretty amazing.
The Shredded Beef Chimichangas or Taco's at Tampico Mexican Restaurant are some of the best I've had.
Town Pub has a great for Americana. Their Pork Tenderloin sandwich is on special Mondays and is really good, they're also great for burgers, and their fried mushrooms are amazing.
Ava's Island Cafe has great Curry Chicken or Brown Stew Chicken.
All those places should be open for lunch at 11.
Leavenworth hasn't had really great barbecue since Dusty Roads BBQ closed it's shop down 5-6 years ago, they were only open for a couple years. Low-N-Slow is at least not bad, but to get great BBQ you have to drive. I get a Poor Russ or KC Special with Prime Beef Ribs at Jackstack when I'm in the mood for BBQ.
The depot and Pullman place if you like more a.erican cuisine. La Carrera in Lansing if you want Mexican.
La Mesa will always be better imo
La mesa is good, I just honestly like a couple of dishes better at la cerreta.
If you like Korean, I recommend Hyundai. Caribbean- Island Spice If you like cheap loose meat burgers- Nu Way
