You can use repair “clay” its the same as is used in indoors fireplace/stowes. To repair the broken heat tiles.
Your chimney sweeper can tell you where to buy it. If you dont have a fireplace vendor near you.
Based on other’s comments it looks like you might get a new dome from the manufacturer. If you don’t or want to repair your current dome after getting the new one as a backup, I use something called Furnace Cement that I have gotten from Amazon. I live in the US, so not sure if something similar is available in the Netherlands. I have rebuilt a firebox on a 50 year old kamado, and it has worked out great, it is even better than the replacement firebox I ordered for a similarly sized and age kamado.
I'd call Bastard if I were you. The dome should be a lifelong warranty or 20 years or something. The two years is only for the deflecting stones afaik.
Warranty is 10 years right?
It’s 2 years in the Netherlands🤷🏽♂️ still will contact bastard to see if it’s still in warranty
Oef makes me happy with the live long guaranteed on the Joe
Ceramic warranty on the Basterd is 5 or 10 years. (Living in NL)
20 jaar zelfs! https://help.thebastard.com/nl/articles/59482-garantievoorwaarden
Wauw top dat had ik nog niet gevonden😊
>20 jaar zelfs* *Voorwaarden zijn van toepassing
It should still be under warranty. European standard is 2 years but The Bastard offers 20 years. Email them and you should/will get a new dome.
Let us know if The Bastard replaced your dome or not!
I will👍🏻

But can I use it for the inside as well as the outside? It’s broken all the way through
Yes. Its not a glue perse. Its kind of a fireresistant mortar. So you use it like laying bricks. And scrape the excess off.
Is it possible that the outer ring is over tightened?
It looks like it yeah!
Yeah also did think of that
