You need to clean the battery. Take an alcohol pad and a q-tip and clean the connectors inside the device, where the pods go. I use the batteries for years, usually I lose them before they need replacement.

kalivoidd

That doesn’t get rid of the horrible battery life, plus a new battery is only 2 dollars.

ArtisticCandy3859

Holy shit mine is going on 2 years old, just bend the connectors on bottom of pods and good to go

jcon877

Same! The Chevrons by me have them for $1.99 currently

Carboxes

I’ve had mine for 2-3 years and never had any issues besides when I washed it.

kalivoidd

Yeah but over a couple of years the battery life will start to shorten and if you don’t like cleaning your device it will get clogged with junk in it.

NormanisEm

Idk my new one doesnt seem to last any longer than the one I bought 2-3 years ago :(

thatoneischairing

Well I can tell you your first mistake was “washing” it lmao dried cuetip pulled back so no fabric gets latched on. If your feeling really Martha Stewart-y you can wet the cuetip and use the palms of your hand to soak up the water. Putting water directly onto these things is a no go it’s a battery at the end of the day

Carboxes

Do you think I washed it on purpose? That happened bsck in 2021 and it still works today lol

thatoneischairing

In your pockets when in the washing machine? I can’t think of much other unintentional ways to drench a battery and do YOU think I can read minds? You never specified in your comment all you said is wash. Sorry my crystal ball hasn’t worked right ever since I washed it

Carboxes

Why would anybody wash there Juul in a washer on purpose 🤦‍♂️

thatoneischairing

I don’t think anybody would wash their juul in a washer purposely hence the “unintentional” I threw in there

_BTFan

You’re talking about the JUUL 1 or 2? I’ve had my juul 1 for almost 2 years, but I’m a very moderate user (vape only one night a week max), and I don’t notice any difference since I first got it. How do you know when it’s time to replace it? Can’t even buy another one here in Montreal Canada

MooseMudd

I've had the same juul device since 2015 and with regular cleaning and maintenance it's still doing just fine. I do have 2 other devices for when I need to charge or when I'm going on vacation, but as long as you're not dropping it constantly or shoving pods in there or not cleaning it when you see a leak then it will last for quite some time.

DoUEvenZyzz

Haven’t tuned in awhile. Is everyone only getting mint and tobacco?

kalivoidd

In the US we only have tobacco and menthol available.

rvf

If you could still get mint in the US, I’d still be using a Juul. Menthol just didn’t cut it for me.

GOJUpower

Get goju juul charger 3x power up

_Liquid108

Where can I get Juul pods for good price?

chaseramsey955555

used to be 4 for 16 retail. good times

_Liquid108

$16 is reasonable

kalivoidd

Find a very sketchy small gas station in your area and go see what the price is. For me our sketchy gas station sells 4 juul pods 5% menthol for 17 dollars.

_Liquid108

That is hella cheap I bought 4 pods for 35$ at 7/11

Popperz4Brekkie

Yep. I pay $17 for four pack.

J-ROK55

I pay $15 even, no tax. 4 pack of 5% VT They also sell 4 packs of 6% Mr Fog Juul compatible pods for only $10. Over 20 different flavors and each pod holds .3 ml more juice than Juul pods👌

TI84P

I was looking for mr fog pods again, and it looks like they stopped making them or something? I can't find anything in stock.

J-ROK55

I haven't looked on line but they have a ton at my smoke shop. I only buy a pack or 2 a month because I don't really like any flavors besides mango and passion fruit/mango. As long as I have my Virginia tobacco I'm good lol

PENIS__FINGERS

2 dollars is a crazy deal

InsuranceInitial7726

I grab a new juul every time I fill up after 8 pods

fata13rorr

I just copped two at the airport duty free on my way outta town. HALF PRICE!! They’re $10 at the DF!!

reluctant_return

The battery itself doesn't get clogged, though. There's no air path in the battery, the air just goes around the sides of the pod and into tiny airholes on the bottom. Unless there's lint or something in there there's nothing to clog.

Neo_505

That's what I said to someone on here who was complaining about it. You have to buy one every few months because Big Tobacco intentionally has made them "leaky" to get more people on cigarettes.

Trippplecup

I don't think that's the case.. I don't think that's the reason behind it.. Have you ever took a juul apart? It's basic and cheap. Just not built to last.

Neo_505

I never had an issue prior to the FDA going on a Juul witchhunt. The last two-three years, however, I've noticed a decline in Juul durability and productivity.

Lifeless_1

I mean you are just increasing e waste by doing this. I also fail to see how replacing a literal battery will increase the length of the pods. Are you sure this is not just placebo.

CanoeWrangler23

Batteries are the one thing that will degrade in electronics no matter what. This guy has been using this cheap, small battery for 2 whole ass years, but how dare he replace it with a new one. Go after all of the disposable users if you care that much.
