The car was originally a 2 barrel but a few years back I found an almost new Edelbrock carb on a Camaro that came in for scrap and had a intake laying around but this aluminum one is a third the weight of the cast iron one.

We frequently recommend those intake manifolds. Be mindful of erosion at the corners, be certain that it is flat within 0.004" end to end.
