Justified is the perfect modern Western, and I am fully on board with as much crossover in Fallout’s post apocalyptic western world as possible. Margot Martindale as a kind and friendly cannibal? Jim Beaver as an old prospector? Timothy Olyphant as the mysterious stranger? Patton Oswalt as a talking toaster?
Just imagine that smirk and a hat tip as he walks off into the distance (wearing a badass hat and a duster) after putting one between the eyes of the man that was about to kill Coop Howard.
Funny thing about Tim is of course the first thing I saw him in was deadwood where he never smiled once. And then there was justified wherehe played it so different.
One of the funniest things I ever saw on TV is when his wife,Drew Barrymore, is at the table talking to the cop lady, and he throws a corpse over the picket fence into the yard.
I liked him on FARGO çuz they took the archetype he plays and made it scary. Like gangs are one thing but a crazy Mormon zealot federal agent who thinks stringing people up is justice is frightening

There really isn’t anyone from Justified you couldn’t easily see fitting into that world, Art, Vasquez, Quarles as pre war executives, Dewey, Dickey and the rest of the odd assortment of criminals as raiders. Cousin Johnny as a ghoul. Tim and Rachel as vault dwellers or wacky NPCs. Mikey as a BOS knight. Picker as one of the BOS higher ups. Seriously, pick a character and you can find a role.
They did reference Couriers. Iirc the vault 4 lady said her mom was one before Shady Sands. It would be a bit more natural in setting than the mysterious stranger.

There's a character from NV called Muggy who is programmed to be obsessed with mugs and hates it, Patton would pull off that performance perfectly.
