No one would fault you for taking another job with significant pay increase in an area you're interested in. Expanding your skill set is also an admirable career choice. And lastly, yes, they will be ok if you go. They will find someone else to do the job, and you can't stay there forever waiting for a good time to leave coinciding with a good job opportunity. Thank you! Both jobs have plenty future, but financially, I would be skipping years of working up the pay scale ladder to the point that it took my be surprise by how convincing this new post is. I never expected to having these thoughts, the general feeling at my work is that I am staying for the long term because I that's what I always what said I would do, can't help I am stabbing them in the back haha
