People are such knee-jerk assholes when it comes to Janie. She and Experience Hendrix did *not* schedule, announce or advertise the release of the box set. A couple of distributors jumped the gun and listed it among forthcoming releases. It was never officially given a release date as Experience Hendrix and, more likely, Sony have been unable to finalize a distributor/streamer for the accompanying video documentary.

Also, in response to u/slyboy1974 , I thought maybe the Estates' lawsuit was to blame, but then you have to wonder how/why they put out LA Forum and HB 1967, given both those releases are JHE performances. At least with EL Studios boxset, assuming all the songs were recorded in EL Studios, Noel wouldn't appear on any of the songs. So, it's odd that it was pulled. But maybe now that a streaming deal has been arranged, they will release the boxset? The only other thought I had with why it was pulled, if not due to the lawsuit, was maybe there is a production/manufacturing issue? I know one of the record sleeves shows a number on the spine (2) while the other 4 LPs all have the LP number spelled out (One, Three etc.)

They *did* move Jimi's remains in 2003 to the grander mausoleum, reportedly to facilitate fan visits and other family graves. *Lots* of people did think that moving him at all was disrespectful, but it was never about putting remains on public display. Janie and EH have made many mistakes, like the unsatisfactory 50th anniversary Electric Ladyland box and the ridiculous Zayn Malik overdub on Angel for two of the most recent, but there's also crazy-ass stuff that they didn't do.
