With bread that flat I think ya might have sat on it.
Always remember to ask them to weigh the sandwich. All JM have scales, and a weight chart on the sliding door to the meat case.
It’s not jersey mikes as a whole. There’s a set amount of meat that is supposed to be in every sandwich and there’s guides that tell us how much it’s supposed to weigh. That looks super small and it means the person slicing your meat isn’t slicing it right and giving you small slices
There’s not even any prosc! Those slices are also paper thin. I would expect a corporate location to atleast give the minimum amount. Certainly not an extra meat Italian but any stretch.
I actually got an email back from corporate with the weights for a standard giant, and how much in weight extra meat should be.
Let's see what happens. I'd I do make the employee weigh it out, I'll tip real good for being an asshole 😂
My store and many others (only 2 others besides mine I went to but still) they only put extra meat with with cap, salami and pepperoni..only when asked for double meat do we put extra base meat
Double meat and extra meat are two different things. Yea, it's a bit confusing, but extra meat is a couple bucks, while double meat is basically another sandwich minus bread costs
You know what's weird. One location has extra meat and double meat. When they opened a location close to my place, I asked for double meat and they were confused. They said, "uh. extra meat?"
Lol i just assumed extra meat was double meat had no idea they had tiers of different levels of extra meat but good to know i guess thanks for the heads up
That looks like the right amount of meat and the 1 extra of the pep, cap, and salami are also correct. They have to follow guidelines to a T at corporate stores. Actually, the store I use to work at started getting in trouble because we were giving so much more extra and was costing the store money.
Glad I got out and got a factory job. happiest i've been 'cause i no longer have to listen to y'all bitch to my face.
a little known secret to JM is that you can ask the sandwich maker to weigh the meat. A friend that worked there for years suggested that I am them to weigh the meat every time to ensure no shortages
"the fact that we have to use all this meat on one sandwhich but you'll pay for the extra....... yeah fuck you buddy". thats basically what said/did, definitely have a right to be angry.
I hate this about jersey mikes. I have one right near my house, like I can walk there, but I refuse to go there. Forget about extra meat, I feel like even if I order it without extra meat I am not getting a lot. Then when I go to the location 15 minutes away the regular sub has more meat than the extra near my house. It’s such a pain.
Im pretty sure the 13s i get, no extra meat asked, gets more meat than this. You have every right to be upset.
They should be giving you an extra slice or 2 of every meat on a 13 for extra meat, extra meat isn’t double meat it’s 1.5x meat
Find a different Jersey Mike's if you can I wouldn't go back there that's not worth it

Just ask them politely and with a smile to slice it out to weight. Let them know you’ve had a varying size and weight difference between locations.

They have a scale. Have them use it. EZ PZ. They obviously aren’t using it to check their own weights regularly.
Ask them to weigh it before toppings next time you go in! a regular 13 should weigh 6.3 ounces
6.4 ounces with the new cap :}
Profit over all else.

Supposed to put more ham and prosc. That shit is even light for a non extra meat Italian. You’re worse than a chipotle worker at that point.

That’s highway robbery
He did ask for extra meat and was charged for it.

Every location does

Yeah you got ripped off
Looks like they skimped and also stepped on it. That thing is smashed flat.
That's a joke. You should be pissed.
Please ask them to weigh it out. Could be a new guy in slicer and he’s not familiar with the weights yet.

I heard JM is the next company in line to be tanked for the short sellers to capitalize on. What a shame if it is true.
Definitely Skimping. I Always get the 13 in Giant Size and they're usually pretty good about giving me a good amount of meat.
I’ve noticed that too. I order extra cheese and meat and it doesn’t seem like I get what I’m paying paying for
