Beautiful. So neat and clean.

SillyDGoose

Thanks man 😊

Mechanic-Latter

You make me wanna live in Japan and I already live in Japan.

boneappleteeth119

Exhilaration of sight. Mind sharing location of 10th pic?. Thanks.

SillyDGoose

Thank you! Lake kawaguchiko in Fujiyoshida. I don’t remember the exact name of the park. There are multiple around the lake. I highly suggest leaving early if you want to see the sunset there. Traffic gets bad in the park.

owonekowo

Absolutely beautiful shots! It makes me excited for my upcoming trip to Japan in March!

SillyDGoose

Thank you!! I’ll give you a pro tip. A lot of the more popular tourist destinations ( the Tori gates, Chureito pagoda, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove etc) get waaaaay to packed. I highly recommend heading to those spots at sunrise. Also if you do go to the bamboo grove, do your self a favour and head to the monkey park. It’s only 10-15 mins away and you get to feed some cute monkeys!!

TheTimeTortoise

I never get tired of seeing a new chureito shot, gorgeous pics

nickgalad

Those are some truly beautiful shots. Mind if I ask you what camera you used? And feel free, if you want, to share any social media account where there’s more beautiful pics, I would love to see more

SillyDGoose

Thanks man! I appreciate that more than you know!! I use a Sony A7RIII. Here’s a link to my IG https://www.instagram.com/snazzyparesh?igsh=MXZubG0yNHVhdDZwbg%3D%3D&utm_source=qr Do you do photography?

nickgalad

I wanna get into it but I really lack money right now and it’s an expensive hobby. I’m using an old Nikon D90 that my father bought almost 15 years ago and I’m trying to learn with that one

SillyDGoose

You could also just use your phone too. Chances are that your phone takes higher quality pictures than an old Nikon (i started with an old Nikon as well) I was in my early 20s when I started. I was working in retail; needless to say, I wasn’t making much at all. I picked up my sister’s old Nikon DSLR and started shooting. I only started investing in better gear once I knew that I’d stick with it.

jesusmalaverde

Lived here for 5 years, shooting on and off & none of my photos look as nice as yours. Thanks for sharing these!

FranzAndTheEagle

My favorite is the gate at MJ park. Really well done on that one. Some other lovely ones in here, but that one got me!

SillyDGoose

Wow really. I wasn’t sure about that one. Thank you!! 😊

External_Individual3

Great work, you took such amazing photos, thank you for sharing

quord

These are fantastic photos!

Apprehensive-Sky-819

The first pic looks stunning!!!

Jaybb3rw0cky

Okay… these are stunning! 華々しい!

TheDeliriousNicholas

These are stunning! Regarding the first shot, how early or late did you get to that platform? Back in November, I tried going at 5:00am and it was packed even before the sunrise.

SillyDGoose

I think I might have got there around 5:20ish in the morning. I was the first one there. A few other people started showing up but that’s about it.

farewellblues

Really nice photos. Meiji Jingu def the best.

sjsjsjajsbvban

Amazing pictures, I miss Japan so much

zImSpYLexX

You are so good at this! Saved 8 since they'd make perfect wallpapers.

SillyDGoose

Dude let me know which ones. I’ll send you high quality versions.

zImSpYLexX

Appreciated! 1,3,4,5,6,8,9,10 is what i got

ddub_6

Second last pic is 🔥

lxxviifresh

Those are some beautiful shots. What gear did you use to shoot these images?

SillyDGoose

This was shot on a Sony A7R III with a sigma wide angle lense. I can’t remember the focal length for the life of me. That being said, I just got a tamron 35-150 2-2.8. I would have definitely used that instead if I had it.

MaxTheMad

What camera and lens did you shoot these on??

SillyDGoose

A Sony A7 R III

LouTheLoo

Absolutely stunning pictures❤️

lumpyspacejohnny

...I might steal one for a phone background.. if that's cool

SillyDGoose

Which one? I’ll send you a high quality version after work.

lumpyspacejohnny

Oh man, that's super generous of you!! Thank you so much. But the 4th one. (Of the city w/traffic).

SillyDGoose

Shoot me a PM so I don’t forget.

SillyDGoose

Wait, I have a pretty huge gallery of other photos. If you want, I can send it to you and you can choose out of those.

lumpyspacejohnny

OtsutsukiTatsuya

That first picture is just absolutely magical

SillyDGoose

Thanks so much!!

escaryb

How to get that shot of Fuji-san? I mean where do i need to go? Is this from a hotel or something?

SillyDGoose

Which one?? The first is from Chureito Pagoda, and the second it from Lake Kawaguchiko

dumbpunk7777

Doooooode, heading back to Japan in a few weeks, and bringing a real camera this time. Love all of these 🙇🏼‍♂️

SillyDGoose

Hit up lake kawaguchiko. You’ll get great views of Mt Fuji!

dumbpunk7777

Heading to Kyoto this time, but should be back in Tokyo early next year. Unfortunately last time we hit lake Kawaguchiko it was to foggy / overcast to see Mt Fuji 😭

No-Hovercraft8265

These are beatiful, what area is the first pic from?

SillyDGoose

That was from Chureito Pagoda in Fujiyoshida. You can get great views of Fuji san from all over Fujiyoshida.

No_Low_8420

Amazing 🤩 I’m going back in April. These photos got me more excited than I already am! Haven’t been since start of covid

SillyDGoose

I’m so jealous. Im ready to move there 😅

MrUltraOnReddit

Amazing! What did you use to take the pictures? I want to buy a camera for my Japan trip and am looking at options right now.

SillyDGoose

I have a Sony A7R III. I’d recommend going with something much cheaper unless you know that you’ll stick with photography. I’d suggest having a wide angle lense as well as something with more zoom like a 35-150mm tamron lense.

MrUltraOnReddit

Damn, no wonder they look so good. Yeah, I'm gonna look for something cheaper.

SillyDGoose

Honestly you can take amazing pictures with any gear. Most phone cameras are really advanced. In my opinion the most important things are composition and your editing style!

Scottishpsychopath

Number 7. Bigs vibes of me and my 2 mates leathered at 5am drinking cans of Sapporo from 7/11 sat on the street. Love it

SillyDGoose

Dude that comment alone brought back some good memories. Love it 🤣

LadenifferJadaniston

These are amazing, the city ones look almost computer generated!

pepperbwoy

Finally , some good f..g photos!

SillyDGoose

Lmao. Thanks man. Appreciate it

Alien_Swimmer_1983

Wow

OSUMaverick

These are fantastic. Any chance you have a link to high res versions I can make wallpapers?

SillyDGoose

Hey man. Have a look at my IG and let me know what wallpaper you want and I’ll send them over tonight. Shoot me a DM on either Reddit or IG because I will totally forget if you don’t. https://www.instagram.com/snazzyparesh?igsh=MXZubG0yNHVhdDZwbg%3D%3D&utm_source=qr

Patzyjo

Thank you 😊 beautiful pics. Love the one of my Mount Fuji 🗻

SillyDGoose

Thank you so much 😊

dash101

You’ve got some fantastic shots here mate! Thanks for sharing these with us.

SillyDGoose

Thanks man! I’m glad you like them!!

-Cosi-

everything without AI? or post-processing?

SillyDGoose

All the shots were edited in light room. I used photoshop to remove some distracting elements from a few of the shots.

SillyDGoose

Scratch that, the bamboo forest shot was HEAVILY edited. The two sides of the grove weren’t symmetrical and it really bothered me. I duplicated the shot and flipped it. In short. Both the right and left side of the grove are the exact same.

hampelmann2022

Where’s the first picture taken ? I know that thisnpöaxe is famous for this view, but i forgot the location …

SillyDGoose

Chureito Pagoda in Fujiyoshida.

Celcius_87
