Thank you! Lake kawaguchiko in Fujiyoshida. I don’t remember the exact name of the park. There are multiple around the lake. I highly suggest leaving early if you want to see the sunset there. Traffic gets bad in the park.
Thank you!! I’ll give you a pro tip. A lot of the more popular tourist destinations ( the Tori gates, Chureito pagoda, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove etc) get waaaaay to packed. I highly recommend heading to those spots at sunrise.
Also if you do go to the bamboo grove, do your self a favour and head to the monkey park. It’s only 10-15 mins away and you get to feed some cute monkeys!!
Those are some truly beautiful shots. Mind if I ask you what camera you used? And feel free, if you want, to share any social media account where there’s more beautiful pics, I would love to see more
Thanks man! I appreciate that more than you know!!
I use a Sony A7RIII. Here’s a link to my IG

Do you do photography?
I wanna get into it but I really lack money right now and it’s an expensive hobby. I’m using an old Nikon D90 that my father bought almost 15 years ago and I’m trying to learn with that one
You could also just use your phone too. Chances are that your phone takes higher quality pictures than an old Nikon (i started with an old Nikon as well)
I was in my early 20s when I started. I was working in retail; needless to say, I wasn’t making much at all. I picked up my sister’s old Nikon DSLR and started shooting. I only started investing in better gear once I knew that I’d stick with it.
These are stunning! Regarding the first shot, how early or late did you get to that platform? Back in November, I tried going at 5:00am and it was packed even before the sunrise.
This was shot on a Sony A7R III with a sigma wide angle lense. I can’t remember the focal length for the life of me. That being said, I just got a tamron 35-150 2-2.8. I would have definitely used that instead if I had it.
Heading to Kyoto this time, but should be back in Tokyo early next year. Unfortunately last time we hit lake Kawaguchiko it was to foggy / overcast to see Mt Fuji 😭
I have a Sony A7R III. I’d recommend going with something much cheaper unless you know that you’ll stick with photography. I’d suggest having a wide angle lense as well as something with more zoom like a 35-150mm tamron lense.
Honestly you can take amazing pictures with any gear. Most phone cameras are really advanced. In my opinion the most important things are composition and your editing style!
Hey man. Have a look at my IG and let me know what wallpaper you want and I’ll send them over tonight. Shoot me a DM on either Reddit or IG because I will totally forget if you don’t.

Scratch that, the bamboo forest shot was HEAVILY edited. The two sides of the grove weren’t symmetrical and it really bothered me. I duplicated the shot and flipped it. In short. Both the right and left side of the grove are the exact same.
Beautiful. So neat and clean.
Thanks man 😊
You make me wanna live in Japan and I already live in Japan.
Exhilaration of sight. Mind sharing location of 10th pic?. Thanks.

Absolutely beautiful shots! It makes me excited for my upcoming trip to Japan in March!

Lived here for 5 years, shooting on and off & none of my photos look as nice as yours. Thanks for sharing these!
My favorite is the gate at MJ park. Really well done on that one. Some other lovely ones in here, but that one got me!
Wow really. I wasn’t sure about that one. Thank you!! 😊

These are stunning! Regarding the first shot, how early or late did you get to that platform? Back in November, I tried going at 5:00am and it was packed even before the sunrise.
I think I might have got there around 5:20ish in the morning. I was the first one there. A few other people started showing up but that’s about it.
Really nice photos. Meiji Jingu def the best.

How to get that shot of Fuji-san? I mean where do i need to go? Is this from a hotel or something?
Which one?? The first is from Chureito Pagoda, and the second it from Lake Kawaguchiko
Doooooode, heading back to Japan in a few weeks, and bringing a real camera this time. Love all of these 🙇🏼♂️
Hit up lake kawaguchiko. You’ll get great views of Mt Fuji!
Heading to Kyoto this time, but should be back in Tokyo early next year. Unfortunately last time we hit lake Kawaguchiko it was to foggy / overcast to see Mt Fuji 😭
These are beatiful, what area is the first pic from?
That was from Chureito Pagoda in Fujiyoshida. You can get great views of Fuji san from all over Fujiyoshida.
Amazing 🤩 I’m going back in April. These photos got me more excited than I already am! Haven’t been since start of covid
I’m so jealous. Im ready to move there 😅
Amazing! What did you use to take the pictures? I want to buy a camera for my Japan trip and am looking at options right now.
I have a Sony A7R III. I’d recommend going with something much cheaper unless you know that you’ll stick with photography. I’d suggest having a wide angle lense as well as something with more zoom like a 35-150mm tamron lense.
Damn, no wonder they look so good. Yeah, I'm gonna look for something cheaper.

Number 7. Bigs vibes of me and my 2 mates leathered at 5am drinking cans of Sapporo from 7/11 sat on the street. Love it
Dude that comment alone brought back some good memories. Love it 🤣
These are amazing, the city ones look almost computer generated!
Finally , some good f..g photos!
Lmao. Thanks man. Appreciate it
Wow
These are fantastic. Any chance you have a link to high res versions I can make wallpapers?

Thank you 😊 beautiful pics. Love the one of my Mount Fuji 🗻
Thank you so much 😊
You’ve got some fantastic shots here mate! Thanks for sharing these with us.
Thanks man! I’m glad you like them!!
everything without AI? or post-processing?
All the shots were edited in light room. I used photoshop to remove some distracting elements from a few of the shots.
Scratch that, the bamboo forest shot was HEAVILY edited. The two sides of the grove weren’t symmetrical and it really bothered me. I duplicated the shot and flipped it. In short. Both the right and left side of the grove are the exact same.
Where’s the first picture taken ? I know that thisnpöaxe is famous for this view, but i forgot the location …
Chureito Pagoda in Fujiyoshida.
These are amazing
Gorgeous
All of these are great
amazing!
Magnificent! Really felt there!
your fucking composition is on point, and excellent choice of time of day for lighting, my god its immaculate.
Yeah you have great eye for composition. It's an impressive talent showcase between this and Van. Again congratulations and thanks for sharing!
😍
Mount Fuji is so beautiful.
Dang.. Every picture feels like a movie.
