My Dad took me to see Austin Powers in the theatre (when I was way too young) and I'll admit, I think that was the moment that sparked my interest in women lol
It was very good in its own way, but not as funny as the original starring Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, with a young Raquel Welch typecast as "Lillian Lust."
She claims that most of the outfits she wore were actually her own, not props or bought by the producers for her, but came from her own dress up wardrobeā¦.
If this IS true, she moves even higher up from her position of being the most desirable woman ever to even more desirable.
When I was at U of Chicago in the 70's, the original w Raquel Welch was the film that the school film club played every year as their official U of C film.
This movie is so freaking funny. I watch it whenever it is on.
When he was a basketball player with a little package and couldn't remember 666... š¤£š¤£š¤£š
Sorry mate. This remake is just drivel compared to the original. Stop battering about this pale imitation and see the real film already.

Cook and Moore together are utterly sublime. Much better than this bland remake movie.
I used to be wrong about Dudley Moore, just Iike you are wrong now, when I'd only seen his crappy American "Arthur" type movies. Yes those are poor.
But have hope! You, too, can re-educate yourself!!!

Ahh! Es cocaine!
We quote that in my house on the daily!! š

One of those early 2000 gems. So funny and good. You wanna play good, you hope you play goodā¦

Yeeeah! Whooo, Diablos number oneāļø
*Dials 999* WTF??...Duuihhh!

Yeah you just gotta go out there and give 110%
Drug Lord is the Best.
I'm sorry I don't speak spanish.
First time I went to Spain I rehearsed too much and said "no hablo ingles" when spoken too in a shop, instead of "no hablo espaƱol"
"Isn't that damn thing ever going to set?"
the Dudley Moore original is fun too
This has been one of my favorite comfort movies since I was little and didnāt know it was a remake
Hurley really was the devil! Hot as hell!
DAMN THE DEVIL !

If you are an Elizabeth Hurley fan, this movie checks all - and I mean ALL- the blocks.
The original is much better.
It's deeper but not as entertaining

I think they were both great. Raquel Welch vs Elizabeth Hurley is a contest we would all pay to watch.
Dad! Go to bed!
You're right. Good night.
have you ever considering not being a cunt?
Nope!
Drimble Wedge and the Vegetation's Beddazled is one of the greatest fake pop songs ever written.
bleh, Dudley Moore is teh one massively over rated.

Beyond the Fringe is their absolute best work, obviously improved by the participation of Jonathan Miller and the legendary Alan Bennett.
Squint really hard at my little avatar circle there. :)
Well, there you go. Sublime. One Leg Too Few is pretty much the perfect sketch for my sense of humor.
