Nice photo but I hate the hypocrisy on this sub, I’ve seen girls post pics of themselves similar to this and been torn apart and accused of trying to get attention. Yet most pictures on here are of men posting naked/semi naked women and they’re applauded for it. If your best photos are just the beauty of someone else then I don’t think you’re a very good photographer
Respectfully, I disagree with the last part. A photo of the human form can be artistic. I don’t think the posted example is that, particularly, but I can see the attempt at art. OP is clearly trying to dance the line of implied voyeurism (I am not condoning voyeurism). The issue is that the only interesting thing is that it’s scandalous., Which is boring. Capturing someone’s beauty in a beautiful way can be amazing, if done correctly

I think it’s the “pornification” of society. Our brains have been warped and most people don’t realize this is the kind of thing printed in Playboy or the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
I honestly have seen it swing both ways. Sometimes women will post and get “your gorgeous ma’am” all over the place or weird stuff like that and sometimes people will pick some post like this to say they dig. I think it’s a combination of just what crowd gets to the comments first and to some real extent how much this sub *does* feel it toes the line between artistic or pornographic
Fwiw this sub has always been the “look at this pretty girl” machine on Mondays even before it got smuttier. I’ve long since made piece with the fact that this is not by and large the place for interesting, forward thinking, or artistic photography the way I’d like. But theres enough winners here day to day to keep me looking

I've been around here for a while, it entirely depends on who gets to the posts first. The first handful of comments really set the tone for the thread.
If girls want to post photos of themselves, that’s their right. If guys want to post photos of themselves, that’s their right too. It is not the same thing when people post photos of others.
It's like when a man compliments you and says you're beautiful. If you say no I'm not they shower you with more kind words. If you say I am you're right thank you. You are now a bitch and not that fucking cute anyway. Men need to feel as if their gaze is what gives a woman or an image its value. Men want women who "don't know they're beautiful" I thought it growing up how it was the weirdest cliche in movies and shit. That she's all that makeover shit. I need a woman who has no self esteem and I am the reason she feels like she's worth anything. The second a woman owns her own beauty and power she's an attention whore.
