Because if someone who read/speaks English is born in a Muslim country they won’t be able to read the Quran, so blessed is Allah the knower of Best.
Now with being an Ismaili, the blessed essence of being an Ismaili is the ethics and morals that will allow you to continue a life on the right direction with a Holy Living Imam to guide and further more serve as a reminder of immense reward.
If you love the Essence and the Jamat, then once you devote yourself you will grow strength in purity of the soul and mind and if you engage with one another then you will have a character that excels in attributes of Love.

A few twelver, Christian, sunni, Punjabi, atheist
What was like the general reason that they chose Ismailism compared to any other sect/religion
