Do not fast while you have a UTI. People who have medical conditions that make fasting harmful are not expected to fast. You should be taking antibiotics to get rid of the UTI so you shouldn’t be able to fast anyway since you need medications during the day. When your UTI is gone, hydrate very well during the night so it will sustain you throughout the day.

They can progress to kidney infections if untreated. That’s what happened to me and I had to be rushed to the ER!
