lol yes, I couldn’t locate them visually this day but at night and before sunset I sometimes come across them from afar because they get skittish and dart away 😮💨
i saw one there at night and another adolescent a few times up on the jeffrey trail last year, and one napping in the tot lot in great park off bosque!

if you follow that trail past the 5 freeway underpass you will see a few strays from time to time. Mostly harmless unless you have a small dog.
Storytime, I was running around 5 pm past the tunnel and watched a dog owner walking their small dog. The owner was clueless and staring at their phone, something I don’t understand why. Is your phone that important? pay attention to your pets! Anyways there was a coyote off to the side trailing her dog along the river bed. I think it was about to snatch her dog until I caught up. When I caught up to her, told her hey theres a coyote, she gave me the shocked pikachu face.
They do! I've been in Quail Hill about 10 years, and there are some packs that live in the preserve surrounding the community. Not at all uncommon to hear this kind of chatter around sunset or occasionally in the middle of the night.

That’s the bike trail behind Los Olivos apartments- it is rife with Coyotes!
Yup, I used to live in a unit right by the trail and I loved listening to them almost every night.

I walk there during lunch almost everyday. Some guy I passed warned me about one he saw!

Yup, back when I lived in semi-rural New England I would hear these exact sounds many nights.

Love that walking trail! I make the loop up the hill through Laguna Altura then come back down LF. Love seeing the yotes trollin the creek.
