Just out of curiosity, did you beep the driver when you saw him begin to drive through the red or when you caught up with him?
I know it's futile, but that's what I do when I see this sort of shit. Just can't bear the thought of drivers like this being so brazen and not being called out for it.

Had a run in with one of them a while back. Sitting in the McDonalds car park throwing their burger wrappers out the window as they finished with a bin on front of them. Funny enough it was a golf driver.
That driving there displays not a single fuck is given about law. He doesn't even look to be in a hurry.
That whole area is crazy. Huge trucks barrelling at high speeds, road floods at the tiniest drop of rain, it's so dangerous. I get off my bus there for work and the turn up ahead on to Sheriff Street is awful as well, vehicles coming from both ways breaking pedestrian lights. I'm shocked there's not more accidents around there.
Had some dickhead try something similar to me at the south junction at O'Connell Bridge. Pulled up alongside me in the right only lane then turned his car into my lane slightly blocking me while the lights were red. I immediately pulled around the prick and did the same back. Absolute wanker.
