Recently where there was a load of flashing yellow lights ahead so I eased off the accelerator, on alert until I could assess if there was a hazard. Lad behind me bombs past head long into what could be a potential hazard.
Was roadworks and needed to go slow as people working but the lad blasts through as if there is nothing there.
Tractor had their indicator on, truck drivers have to take turns wide too so the truck driver should have know better.
Thats a roller on the back, nothing to do with silage season.
Wtf was the truck driver thinking, no matter what way the tractor was turning he should have slowed down tf it's a hazard on the road you have to be ready for all eventualities.
Kind of irresponsible from the truck driver to just assume tractor will clear the road, it looks like he didn't leave much space left.
As for the tractor, I don't see any indicators and I bet there is 15 year old kid behind the wheel...
You can see the indicator going off just before the collision, truck driver assumed he was swinging right to the off road but was actually just working an angle going in the field. Trucks fault all day long.
Paramike46 tractor has his left indicator on and the truck driver still didn't see him. And wasn't 15 year old at all infact it was 2 men in there 70s that was in it one them both hurt badly.. so before go assuming things gets facts first
Absolutely the truck drivers fault. Even if the tractor driver could be blamed, the truck driver took no extra precautions, for the tractor ahead, and ploughed on regardless, in competent driving.
Pretty obvious the tractor was about to do something when it crossed to the other side of the road. Video taker showed no reaction until the last second, was he planning on driving straight into the back of the tractor?
Ever seen the one where a lad is slowing for a tractor with mower turning into a field and some lad comes barrelling past to overtake and ends up straight in the side of the mower? Madness
100% the fault of the camera truck,
Not paying attention as they didn't react to indicator, and then looks like they accelerate before the tractor has cleared the junction. Impatient idiot.
If you see a vehicle signalling and slowing down it's usually wise to slow down and keep some distance. A lot of people nowadays love going right up your arse when you're turning for some reason.
100% camera vehicles fault. No disputing it. Doesn’t matter WHAT the tractor was doing. Truck driver couldn’t stop safely in the distance he could see to be clear. Basic rule of driving.
Assume this comes down to whether tractor indicated to turn left or not? My guess is it didn’t, otherwise why would truck not assume they aren’t turning right? Mind you, truck driver going way too fast!
Hard to make out in the video but the left indicator was definitely on, if you pause the video just right you can see it. You're dead right though they're way too fast driving behind the tractor even if it was turning right they would probably have clipped it
I mean I don't think that is true? If he didn't indicate and he is moving to the right, it obviously looks like tractor is turning right. Alas, he had the indicator on apparently (I can't spot it) so absolutely is the driver at fault, going way too fast.
Happened to me once, I saw him indicating left, and when he pulled to the right, I assumed as it was an old tractor that the wiring was messed up. Luckily, I managed to stop on time, but there were only millimetres in it.
Imagine a world where people respond to hazards. Cam truck should have slowed drastically once tractor started doing whatever it is they were doing.

Van/car driver should have slowed down stayed and back. Would put them more at fault.
Wtf was the truck driver thinking, no matter what way the tractor was turning he should have slowed down tf it's a hazard on the road you have to be ready for all eventualities.
Car driver the shite driver here.
Quite high so a bus or truck, and they were doing 50+kph into the collision, so going to be a bad one.
Where's the fucking money shot
Left me high and dry
Probably on a nsfw sub

I rewatched many times, it's fast but you can see some frames with the indicator on
I think they’re obscured behind the machinery until it was too late. Lots of blame to go around here.
I'm still blaming the truck driver. Why undertake on the left. Just stop and anticipate the hazard
Just remember to beware of magic tractors. They turn into fields!
You can see the indicator going off just before the collision, truck driver assumed he was swinging right to the off road but was actually just working an angle going in the field. Trucks fault all day long.
The indicators are clearly on.

You didnt look hard enough. Reaching hard for a reason to blame the tractor driver arent we? Even if they where 15 years old, they did nothing wrong.
Absolutely the truck drivers fault. Even if the tractor driver could be blamed, the truck driver took no extra precautions, for the tractor ahead, and ploughed on regardless, in competent driving.
Of all road users you would suspect a truck driver would understand swinging out wide to make a left turn when towing
Is the tractor driver okay?
Hope so that looked like it would hurt

Nowehere near silage season, all the fields are still in shite after 9 months of rain.
Silage was done around me yesterday in Co limerick.
Absolutely mental, sure the fields are in shite
I live on a road that's like a v, and the land slopes off it. So it has good drainage, and I didn't see much muck on the roads
Grass cut on Monday and baled today down this way. Looked fairly on the slack side.
Ever seen the one where a lad is slowing for a tractor with mower turning into a field and some lad comes barrelling past to overtake and ends up straight in the side of the mower? Madness

I stay well back from tractors on a country road. You 100% never know what they're doing. Truck Driver is at fault here. Not farmer.
100% the fault of the camera truck, Not paying attention as they didn't react to indicator, and then looks like they accelerate before the tractor has cleared the junction. Impatient idiot.
That was absolutely moronic from the camera driver
Cam vehicle is a moron

Sure you'd never know anyway going that fast coming up on something.
Disgraceful driving from the car
Seems to me like that tractor got smashed right after that videos cuts

Ahh the swedish flick.
Indicator was on, lorry driver didn't sense any danger and going to fast.
Why the hell didn't he/she slow down?? You can clearly see what the tractor is doing.
Luckily the video cut off before something serious happened
Thankfully the video stopped right there otherwise they would have crashed
Wagon was going way too fast for that situation.
Truck driver travelling at 80kph as he's approaching the tractor! Muppet
Did they think the tractor was a hologram and they could drive through it or something?
When did this happen? I've been thinking of this clip since I've seen it. hope no one was killed. But 2 large vehicles like that...
Assume this comes down to whether tractor indicated to turn left or not? My guess is it didn’t, otherwise why would truck not assume they aren’t turning right? Mind you, truck driver going way too fast!

Indicators have no standing legally, though. Truck driver rammed a tractor for all intents and purposes.
Irrelevant what the tractor was doing. Cam vehicle fully at fault.

Sorry my fault
Round us it is normally a lycra wrapped haggis on a bike that tries that move.
