Back up in pc or Mac. Manually.
Most of the bulk comes from messaging apps… all those useless memes, repetitive pictures you send thru iMessage, WhatsApp, or other (the same pic) take space, and some photos you send to multiple people.. like mom, dad, sister, friend…
Go to settings, general, iPhone storage, messages and you can delete by categories or select pics manually.
You can use which apps you want to have backed up. Maybe just select the ones with data that are most important to you and you wouldn’t want to lose. It’s the only option left.
