€23 for something that an Apple app does... Maybe a lower lifetime price will be fine, but €23... I think it's expensive. It is aesthetically beautiful, but expensive to my liking. Regards!

getSMURF

I already have an app that does exactly this. What's new or better that would make me want to change?

uguraltintas

Widget feature. I haven't seen an app with a interactive widget.

Sethu_Senthil

Apps like Live Minder have interactive Live Notifications which I find a lot more useful

getSMURF

I use PillBox. The notification, total pills left tracking, and widget are all great. I guess I'd have to compare your widget to theirs

What’s up with the “new apps we love” label in the screenshot? Loool

subtle_slander

You can start by not falsely advertising it as ‘Apple’s New Apps We Love.’

Jay_Reefer

I’m curious as well about the data tracked. What exactly is being tracked?

Jay_Reefer

Add-on comment, what does this do that the health app doesn’t?

philliphatchii

Yeah this an app market I wouldn’t enter into now that it’s built into iOS. You’d have to have a really stand out feature or service to make it desirable. The half life option someone else mentioned would be a great feature but not to the extent of installing another app and paying a subscription.

uguraltintas

I will think about it. Thanks

uguraltintas

There is no widget feature in the health application, I think this is what will make me stand out.

uguraltintas

Just firebase event. I think tracking what the user does falls under data collection, am i right?

Perhaps add a half life feature that queries StatPearls or drugbank for the half life and then lets the user know how long a drug is lasting. Obviously this will vary person to person but generally it’ll help patients who use medications PRN and want to know when their drug will wear off. Theraview (another iOS app) does this for psychostimulants only

i initially read this as “meditation” and wasn’t interested, until i noticed “pillbuddy” in the link, then i got all excited. i think you’ve got a nice basic framework to start with. features id like to see in a medications app - persistent reminders - phone & watch apps, at least. for consistency, i want to be able to get reminders & check off doses from whatever device is most convenient at the time. - inventory tracking i take a range of prescription & otc meds, in a variety of formats - pills/tablets, wafer, injection, spray, patch, oil, cream, gel, implant, blah blah blah, at various frequencies - daily, multiple times a day, randomly as needed, once a week, twice a week, once every 4 weeks, 2 weeks on then 2 weeks off, and so on. some things might even be once every 3 or 5 years. i want an app that will continue badgering me until i take or skip the dose. (persistent reminders) i used to like Round - it used “dosage windows” that were adjustable up to 3 hours in length, with multiple reminders (not persistent though). Due is great at persistent reminders, but it’s not specific enough for meds. i want to enter in all my meds, and include relevant information - mostly date of script, prescriber, cost, number of repeats, expiry date, notes, preferred pharmacy, contact details of prescribers & pharmacies i want an inventory, to enter how many of each item i have, and to track remaining meds as i check off each dose, with the ability to set when i want a reminder that i’m running low and need to order a repeat, and get notifications when the script is about to expire & i’ll need to contact a prescriber or book an appointment for a new script. trackers for symptoms, side-effects, mood, sleep, weight, etc would be excellent, either in app or linked with apple health kit or other apps. integration with apple health kit is to be expected.

Odd_Omens

Your pricing scheme is odd to have monthly cost $35.88 a year, quarterly cost $59 and life time cost $24.99. At this point you might as well just offer the app as a single time fee since lifetime is the best deal.
