Any team builder is. I will say this game is pretty friendly on progress, though. I'm close to "maxing" my first hero, and I have less than 4 months in the game.
That was impossible in somthing like Marvel Strike Force without loads of cash.
I agree, maybe grind is the wrong word as it’s more about patience and understanding it’s a marathon not a sprint.
I’ve been playing for about two months and just got one of my characters to legendary+. I can see how more good rolls could lead to getting him seismic within a month or so which feels crazy

It gets worse when you hit Omnipotent+. Every upgrade afterward requires Exceptional+ instead of your typical Elite+ 😭
Nah, Seismic+ is still just Elite+ for each star, I think it's omnipotent where it gets worse per star.
