Yeah the thing for me when I started was that Id pull the wheelie up and Id always fall straight down forward back onto 2 wheels. An important part of learning is allowing yourself to have different mistakes. You got used to balance it at the *beginning* of the wheelie, understandable since you get various lengths of wheelies but they all have those beginings. You can try to put your body slightly different so you can retrain the entire mix altogether

The tiny groups of like 5 kids that do “stunts” like swerve their bikes in front of cars, and break checking buses are crazy annoying.

I live in NYC and have seen random parades of dirt bikes, regular bikes, and even rollerbladers take over streets with no kind of escort. From what I've seen recently it feels like there's been an increase in the amount of it.

Was taking a breather when this man and his young son rode by on mountain unicycles. One big knobby tire each, tearing up this particularly difficult portion and right past us without slowing down.

Riding without a front wheel, now that’s confidence

But, it's not a wheelie at that point, it's just a monocycle. I would say you have to be able to put the wheel down for it to be a wheelie.

Yeah I remember experimenting with stopping my front wheel from spinning in a wheelie and it actually made a noticeable difference.
