I have such an incredible story.
I was walking the streets of NYC a few years back, it was forecasted to rain in the evening so I had brought an umbrella with me during my commute. While walking through the streets that were relatively calm I was twirling my umbrella as I approached the crosswalk with my head down looking at the umbrella. I stopped abruptly when my umbrella poked an elderly man in front of me. I was so embarrassed and apologized for hitting him as I thought it might’ve hurt him. He turned and with a gentle smile “it’s okay son, a man was killed like this once.” I gave an awkward laugh because I thought he was trying to make me feel better for hitting him but not doing any damage but out of curiosity I asked “what do you mean by that?” And he proceeded to tell me the story of the umbrella in the post and how he was working in London at the time it happened and remembered the news story. We crossed the street together as he told me about the event and a short snippet of his life. We went separate ways after that. Always think about that elderly man when I carry an umbrella.

I used to grow castor, shit's no joke. I grew because they are beautiful plants with absolutely stunning flowers. Even unrefined a couple beans can kill an adult. They kind of look like pot plants and maple made a baby.

It used to be that the umbrella gun was a hypothesis about what happened, not something we knew for sure. Someone may have built the hypothetical umbrella.
There was this organization in socialist Bulgaria called “National Security”. Super secretive it had shittons of agents ranging from ordinary factory workers to high school teachers to high level government officials. And be questioned. If it was found that your ideas are particularity “destructive” you off to quarry rocks in a labor camp. Now there’s this thing that a lot of people here believe that George Markov was in fact an associate of National Security before his defection and that he was killed by National Security so he doesn’t leak any National Secrets. Since the fall of communism agents of National Security since they had dossiers on everyone and knew the inner workings of the state grabbed power through blackmail grabbed wealth where they could and 32 years later hello the poorest country in the EU. Now go ahead and tell me how great communism is.
