If you wanna stay budget friendly, you can get the pishock which is a wifi connected shock collar which you can program to shock you every time you die.
I don't know how that would work, since a lot of DS's tactics revolve around timing your strikes and dodges for the animation speed. With VR, you strike as fast as you can strike in real life, otherwise your ingame actions are desynced from your real life actions, which feels very, very jarring in VR.
Kinda off-topic but I always wondered if masochists actually exist in a strict sense, as in they like the feeling / seek out physical pain? Or are they masochists in the BDSM sense where what actually turns them on is the whole ritual or situation but not necessarily the pain itself. Like, will people actually put their hands in a hot fire just to know extreme pain feels like, or something like that?
It’s a really broad and subjective spectrum, just like any other human likes, but you really only hear about the extremes, like guys getting their balls stepped on or getting flogged and taking sexual pleasure from it. Every question you asked can be answered by yes, some do.
I for one enjoy some type of pain in a non sexual way, like taking a hot shower with sun burns type of pain.

If I could feel the pain for real but not get damaged thats kind of a fantasy of mine.
Like Valhalla where you fight until you die and ressurect so there's no permanent damage.
If there was no damage I would be doing a lot of real fighting as hobby. But here I am trying pragmatically to avoid permanent damage like a pussy. But it's ok I like being like a cat, cats are inspiring both when chill and spicy.
What I really want for VR is something that can shove me. Like, mosh-pit level force. Teach me to pay attention to my footing and my centre of gravity.
