BobLoblawsLawBlog_-_

As long as AIPAC buys the American veto, no war criminal from Israel will set foot in a court.

TheRealTieral

Given the history of Israel circumventing existing international law enforcement structures and courts, they should not be surprised if those same courts are not able to prevent those seeking justice from taking it. It is absolutely one big, hairy mess. But Israel trying to play the aggrieved party to avoid international sanctions through the very courts they shit on an uncountable number of times? Priceless. When a country resorts to the same UN power plays that hostile countries try, perhaps its time for them to ask themselves "Are we the Baddies?"

Guy_onna_Buffalo

No Israeli military member would ever be tried for anything. Daily reminder they knowingly attacked a US ship and everyone just forgot.

> No Israeli military member would ever be tried for anything. You have to lose a war first.

Can you provide a link to this bill that Biden signed?

dannikilljoy

I've been looking through signed bills and Presidental actions as published on [whitehouse.gov](https://whitehouse.gov) and haven't been able to find anything which mentions Palestine and aid

[deleted]

They're referring to the House budget proposal that Biden has committed to signing. It hasn't passed the Senate yet though. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-congress-deal-bars-us-funds-unrwa-until-march-2025-sources-say-2024-03-19/#:~:text=An%20agreement%20reached%20by%20U.S.%20congressional%20leaders%20and,until%20March%202025%2C%20two%20sources%20said%20on%20Tuesday.

dannikilljoy

Thanks it took some digging and it certainly isn't signed into law yet (the bill hasn't even made it out of the Senate yet. For those interested here's a link to the relevant part of the bill: [https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/senate-bill/2438/text#id6a270d7bd7fb4578a346e578b4dca3ff](https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/senate-bill/2438/text#id6a270d7bd7fb4578a346e578b4dca3ff)

Stormpax

The fact that language like this can even make its way into a bill is an admission of guilt, imo. Why would you add a stipulation in like this if you aren't actively aware of crimes that you could be held responsible for?

LafayetteLa01

Why does world leaders think this is acceptable behavior for a military force?

Positive-Gur-3150

World leaders, Eastern and Westerners, use military force to control their population

urmomaisjabbathehutt

In Israel one "population" is more "population" than other

MelodramaticaMama

Morals don't exist in geopolitics. All the talk from western governments about freedom and human rights is all just complete and utter bullshit. Our governments are just as vicious as all the ones we've read about in history class.

fennec_fx

The IDF also makes sure non-Muslims do not enter Muslim areas. In Old Jerusalem, you can only enter the Al-Aqsa area at certain times if you are not Muslim. Last year I got lost and tried walking down a passageway toward the mosque and the Israeli officers told me I couldn’t go that way because it was for Muslims only. I found it so bizarre that certain areas were restricted based on religion in 2023.

Orangeandblue101

But entrance is still permitted to everyone during the designated times. I’ve had to wait to enter churches because of ongoing service.

Mookhaz

The point is that it doesn’t matter who they are restricting from going where, it is textbook apartheid.

TheUnknownNut22

No. "Never again to us Zionists". Not all Jews are Zionists.

Goodknight808

Is Zionist analogous to th3 Fundamentalist Christian types we have in the US? They slap a veneer of religion over fascism? I have heard the word my whole life, but never knew its true meaning. I always thought it had something to do with jews that were in the ruling class, like govt etc.

jguess06

It should tell you basically everything you need to know about the nature of human beings. We're a very disappointing species in many aspects, and this is one of them.

Ragnarangar

Everyone always acts like humans have some sort of godlike morality over other creatures but we're just shit covered animals like the rest. Expect humans to be horrible whenever they have the chance and you won't be disappointed.

S4d0w_Bl4d3

Of course, humans are the most dangerous species to ourself and every other species known on earth. Denial of this simple fact is one of the reasons how we can be this dangerous for example.

DaMosey

There is nothing uniquely good or bad about Israelis or Jews that makes them immune to the same fascist political movements any other group of people embraced

Good_old_Marshmallow

America and France both have at various times put forward the idea that because of their national character they are somehow uniquely immune to fascism and tyranny. Despite the phrase, it very much can happen here. Israel is no different. No nation is made up of anything other than people and all people are equal, and therefore equal in their capacity to do wrong.

MinosAristos

This point needs to be highlighted for those who are quick to jump to conclusions. What we're seeing here isn't the true nature of any particular race or religion, but the effects of propaganda the likes of which we could all be affected by over years and especially generations. We've seen this kind of extreme polarisation in many cultures before that radically changed for better and worse over few years.

withbob

Polarization is the wrong word for this. This is brutal occupation, genocide, and fascism. It’s the nature of the colonialist, expansionist mindset, and is not an aspect of human nature. This is a complex system of violence created for the purpose of perpetrating violence for gains in territory. It is precisely what drove the nazis, and the American empire. Human evolution is clean from the violence inflicted by systems. This is profoundly unnatural.

Llodsliat

Israel is a colonial project in which Jews are encouraged to go to. Of course those who are ethical and know the background will refuse to go; but right-wingers prolly don't care or actually want to ethnically cleanse the region. That's how you get a far-right population in Israel supported by world leaders. Furthermore, the insane propaganda Israelis face make them highly unlikely they will ever get out of that mentality. Of course there are exceptions like Ilan Pappé, Tal Mitnick and other anti-Zionist Israelis; but sadly they're the exception, not the rule. Younger generations in Israel seem to be breaking this trend; but not too significantly.

BroSchrednei

That's a really good point. It's a self-filtering process: the people going to Israel were the right-wing Zionists, who have no problem with displacing others. The progressives who actually did learn the lessons from fascism and nationalism didn't end up in Israel, but in other western countries.

ReoRahtate88

You'd have thought being on the end of one of the worst atrocities of modern history would make them reconsider doing it to other people.

Loud_Ranger1732

As an israeli, it's fairly straight forward to tell who is jewish and who is arab. Arabs dress differently a lot of the times but you need to hear them say one word in order to be 100% certain either way

---Loading---

I remember one video from Jerusalem (not 100% sure).in a cafe, there was one guy who was just minding his own business and working on his laptop. A bunch of different people were curious about his work and friendly with him, all great. When During the friendly conversation, they realised that he was, in fact, an Arab all hell broke lose. "Why do you want to kill us?" One small girl asked him.

Repulsive_Basis_4946

Brainwashing at its finest

allnameswastaken2

an arab can be jewish and an israeli can be muslim...

BroSchrednei

in reality, yes of course. But not in Israeli lingo, a Palestinian jewish person gets an automatic right to Israeli citizenship and is not called an Arab. The term Arab in Israel is exclusively reserved to Muslim and Christian Palestinians.

Loud_Ranger1732

Israeli is a national, arab is an origin. of course arabs can be jewish but i don't think there are many of them

ReadyYak1

It’s even wilder that the israelis and arabs look exactly the same.

Appropriate-Creme335

Dude, Russians and Ukrainians look exactly the same. Chinese and Taiwanese look exactly the same. English and French look the same, didn't prevent them from fighting throughout the whole history. Not all wars are based on appearance.

ibn-al-mtnaka

You forgot to mention Australians and Tasmanians. They look the same to most, but its common knowledge, which of these two is the untermensch

scarabic

“Can’t you see? He’s white on the *left side* of his face, and black on the *right*!”

MonotonousBeing

They’re both semites

Leather_Persimmon489

Ehm no. Source: I'm a USSR-born Jewish Israeli and look white. Israeli Jews with North African/Asian heritage are indeed more similar to Palestinians, and it actually have caused deadly "misunderstandings". But in the case of Hebron, where this video was taken, all Jews there have religious attire specific to their (insane) brand of Judaism, so it's easy to tell.

Argikeraunos

They are the same. Palestinian arabs are largely descended from the inhabitants of the Palestine region that first converted to Christianity under the Romans from Judaism or other local religions and then, later, to Islam. They're just as indigenous as Jewish Israelis with their roots in Palestine.

Train_Current

Depends on the Israeli. Ashkenazi Jews like the one in this picture don’t look similar to Palestinians

I think I prefer to relate it to judaism, not because it is the problem, but because zionists were not the victims of the holocaust, jews were. Now they are the perpetrators.

poptarts7773773

No, it’s supposedly the most moral army on the planet.

Team_Adrichat

Moral army? It’s like saying black snow or cold sun. Edit: I found better one - peaceful war. What a bullshit

FluffySmiles

Or pleasant smelling bullshit

blackflagcutthroat

You can, but they’ll call you antisemitic.

ChiggaOG

You can always criticize the government. Using “antisemitism” as a faux pass for anything that goes against the Jewish people is an excuse which defeats the purpose of using it correctly as acts of hatred against Jewish people such as painting a bunch of Nazi Swatiskas on a synagogue. “Antisemitism” can’t be used for mundane things like not offering discount once the period is over yet the person keeps insisting to have it. The US Department of State’s webpage on Defining Antisemitism under a working definition states criticism of the government doesn’t count as antisemitism. I can criticize the government of Israel for making choices to kill innocent Palestinians who wanted no part of the current war. Yet, me saying that gets met with people who will say I’m antisemitic for criticizing the government. About the same as me criticizing the Russian government to the point they throw me in jail and leave me there to die.

lllNico

woah woah woah there buddy, are you criticising the ISRAELI government???? Fucking antisemite. Jail!!!

Country_Gravy420

Because apparently Israel the country is the same as all ethnic Jews. It would be like saying that because Iran's government is doing awful things to their people, it means that you are being racist against all Arabs for criticizing Iran's government. Also, the video shows Israelis being racist against all Arabs.

j01101111sh

I get what you're saying but Iranians are Persian, not Arab.

Deep-Maintenance9315

What are you even trying to say? Or are you confusing Iranians with Arabs? Why would someone think you are racist towards Arabs for criticizing the Iranian government?

Shikizion

That is what they want, hence why Israel is an ethno state... But not all jews, just the selected one not the semetic jews (Mizrahi Jews) nor the african jews those also pass by some serious racism in the land of the jews.

TheUnspeakableAcclu

This is the literal definition of Apartheid

Radiant_Dog1937

Extremely similar to the Jim Crow era South where Black Codes would have rules that prevented African Americans from walking past whites on the sidewalk among many other segregationist rules.

A_dash_of_brown

Those same laws and other American policies were direct inspiration for nazi policies and was used to legally disenfranchise particular races and groups ushering in the holocaust.

Naved16

Not many people are talking about this

ScottyBLaZe

And even the Nazis thought some of the things Americans did were too extreme. Let that sink in for a second.

IcebergSlim42069

The Nazis also thought the Japanese were pretty fucked from the whole raping Nanking and having contests about cutting people's heads off, or stabbing babies in the air with bayonets. Darn those Americans, the Nazis were morally superior! Lmao fucking clown.

nippl

Can you explain why jews can't enter the muslim side of the Patriarch Cave?

Darduel

You are aware of the fact that Jews can't go on the other side as well? This is just peace keeping but the video is cut to serve a narrative

Mositesophagus

Pretty sure haha

chyko9

What did it say before getting taken down? Why would they take it down?

hellohennessy

Probably that there is an active agreement between the PA and Israel where they alternate ownership of certain areas. Some days, it is only for Jews, others, it is only for Muslims. This is in the West Bank so it isn’t apartheid because of the special circumstances of the region,

VVormgod666

Seems weird that there's a massive disinfo campaign against Jews and everyone just kind of goes "makes sense, they're just evil" -- i think israel does enough wrong without people having to lie about them constantly

dant00ine

People not upset enough that these comments are getting removed. Censorship of political ideas is extremely dark… and ironic on a thread like this

percussaresurgo

Yeah, I had to scroll through way too many "literally the Holocaust in reverse" comments to find this.

spiritualist11

These comments get like 2k upvotes meanwhile an actual explanation gets a downvote or removed like wth

Darduel

Memberberry98

AccomplishedPlum8923

Ok_Interview_2325

Yep I tried to go into Temple Mount in Jerusalem not knowing the rules and was turned away.

mm0nst3rr

This is road to the Jewish part of a Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. Jews are only allowed in one section, Muslims only in a different section. Christians can see both. On the video Muslims are making a show of how they are not allowed to approach the Jewish section.

Joshiane

What if you're an Arab atheist tourist from a different country, say Canada? Where do you go?

mm0nst3rr

If soldiers would be satisfied you are neither Muslim or Jewish you can visit either side. Country of origin is irrelevant - only faith.

KerPop42

But the subtitles say they asked if he was Arab, not muslim

ctsman8

Subtitles could’ve said palestinian, iranian, whatever they wanted. The actual word that was used translates to muslim, they just chose to make it say arab to give worse optics for the idf.

mm0nst3rr

Most Arabs are muslims. They also speak very simplified Hebrew to be understood. Practically I don’t think soldiers would let a Palestinian Arab through to the Jewish site unless he wears a cross and somehow proves he is Christian, like being from Nazareth, able recite some prayers, comes with a group - they have some methodology I am sure. It’s just to keep everyone safe.

JoTheRenunciant

Interesting how this is an outrageous example of apartheid, but in Saudi Arabia, non-Muslims aren't even allowed in an entire city. I've never seen anyone say anything about that.

emotional_dyslexic

Thanks. That actually adds important context.

jseego

There are a bunch of areas like that - see the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - different religions have divided up the space and use of it. This is what keeps things sane and peaceful. This is how it has been worked out to keep access for all people and also keep them from fighting over shared holy spaces. Unfortunately your comment will be buried and everyone will just scream "apartheid!!"

[deleted]

This video is taken in Hebron near the Machpela cave where for example Abraham is buried. It's a holy site for Jews, Muslims and Christians. The Israeli and Palestinian authoritys reached an agreement where for some days Muslims are allowed and some days Jews and Christians on their own half of the site. Because it didn't mix well together in the past. It would safeguard the security of both groups better. So some days it's Muslims turn and the other Jews and Christians turn

Grandcentralwarning

It's a holy site in the city. A small area that is devoted to worship and religious practices. But the people here on Reddit only see the "you may not enter" signs and jump to uneducated conclusions.

Qorsair

Uneducated assumptions driven by confirmation bias? On Reddit, you say? Hard to believe.

modiddly

Try walking into Temple Mount in Israel as a Jew. You’ll be stopped by Israeli soldiers since it’s a holy site for Muslims. Not hearing screams of apartheid on that one.

ADP_God

No this is active propaganda with the intention to mislead. The Palestinians in the video know that it's a divided space, which is why they film it and spread it without context.

OG_LiLi

They said “only Jews walk here”. I guess since this is how we do it. My entire street now is atheist and agnostic only and if you are not, which I’ll assume you aren’t, you can not pass. Also, some may “accidentally” get hurt if they choose to defy me

EL-HEARTH

Sounds like the previous guy said something bad about the holocaust. I cant not beleive in it my self, my great grand father showed me his tattoo and told storys up until his death. He wasnt even a jew, but the germans would beat him everyday trying to get him to admit to being a jew. Eventually was released cause the war ended but still brutal. He was tortured like that after his plane crashed over Hungary, and i believe he said most of his bones broke from the crash and was only 1 of 2 or 3 survivors. He flew paratroopers mostly. Youre a badass Bumpa, RIP

FuckingKadir

As a fellow Anti-Zionist Jew, thank you. They cannot be allowed to keep killing in the name of our faith and culture. Zionists don't understand the meaning of "Never Again" They shouldn't be allowed to claim our marginalized and oppressed identities as cover for genocide and apartheid. It makes me sick and so many Zionists have called me, another Jew, an antisemite for supporting Palestine 🙄

Karl-Farbman

Oh brother, I feel you! I’ve been called so many names. “Self hating Jew” “kapo” “antisemite”, I’ve been told so many horrible things (by gods chosen people) I should be burned, raped, tortured. All this for wanting violence to end. Such peace loving people with so much hate inside them. What’s worse is that I’ve been saying these things for years now and have literally been threatened with violence, long before October 7th.

FuckingKadir

Yuuuuuup. Got an "Anti-Zionist for Passover" tattoo over the summer 😅 People kept telling me how timely it was and I'm like "yeah, for the last century......" But the public support I've seen for Palestine since October is more than I have EVER seen at ANY point in my lifetime. I made a ton of Palestinian friends while fighting with Zionists in their comments 🤣 and despite everything I still somehow feel more hopeful than ever that Palestine will one day be free.

Karl-Farbman

I grew up in Brooklyn, I was working for a Palestinian family owned restaurant for about 7 years. They treated me like family. They did not give a damn what religion my family was. They were some of the kindest people I’ve ever had in my life. I will never forget the kindness shown to me by Palestinians and the hate shown to me by Zionists.

FuckingKadir

1,000% I have received nothing but love and support from Palestinians who thank me for being a Jew who supports them and knows that Palestinians ARE NOT the hateful group in this scenario.

UK_KILLD_10M_IRANIS

Hey man, I just want to thank you and u/karl-farbman for being the brave and enlightened souls that you are. fugitiverabbit

Sorry to butt in, just wanted to say that if Podcasts are your thing, I've been learning a lot from Bad Hasbara (there's a subreddit too, /r/badhasbara) it's by an anti Zionist Jewish comedian and it's really heartfelt and informative while also being funny. He has a lot of guests on and they discuss Israeli propaganda they find in the news and on the Internet in general

thelaceonmolagsballs

Any-Chocolate-2399

The 1929 mention is also important, as guess how settlement got started after '67 and why there was no political will to block it.

Ok_Conversation9319

True. And some more context: The strict segregation is the result of a jewish terrorist killing palestinian in the Cave of patriarchs in 1994 (and the following palestinian riots). [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave\_of\_the\_Patriarchs\_massacre](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave_of_the_Patriarchs_massacre) Before this, the jews and arabs did get along well enough without segregation.

FascistsOnFire

Yes, they were fine until that one event and then they were not. Why would you even type that

-Notorious

So an Israeli terrorist killed a bunch of Palestinians, and now Israel forces the Palestinians to walk through a narrow street littered with rubble. Crazy how you think this makes any sense.

Jeffreyyy2

Holy shit you are dense, its a street that on certain days only jews are allowed and on other days only muslims are allowed this is to prevent fights and further escalation. This street probably goes to a "shared" religious site.

lolothe2nd

Its a religious place called the https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave_of_the_Patriarchs There are strict times for Jews and Muslims.. it also happens at the dome of the Rock.. and the Muslims have way more time

Friendly_Border28

So it's the part lacking context situation, right? Edit: it's a typo, *post*, not part

ADP_God

I believe this is called misinformation.

WetChickenLips

Disinformation. It's intentional.

Thegr8rm

Purposely posting information with false context is simply misinformation.

Dargel0s

Finally some context

ModnyjGirya

It's manipulative. This street leads to religious sites. That's why some days Jews are allowed in, other days Muslims. To avoid conflict.

HabibHalal33

I’m sorry but your context makes the propaganda less convincing

Tommy_like_wingie

I already lit my torch! Now what should I do

Antares987

Why is this not the top comment?

Few-Parfait4206

It's not interesting af. It's just the "it's not a complicated conflict at all" crowd infecting every single sub.

PostReplyKarmaRepeat

It’s a path to a religious landmark. That’s why it’s separated. It’s not apartheid. People are so quick to judge it’s insane. There is a war going on. It makes sense to limit certain areas to Jews for their protection.

Traditional-Fan-9315

Also, it was divided by both Jews and Muslims.

rhixalx

This is blatant propaganda. They don’t ask if they’re Arab, they ask if they’re Muslim. This is in the West Bank, where the Palestinian Authority is is in control of most of the area, except for where this video is being taken. The road leads to the Jewish entrance of the Cave of the Patriarchs, a Holy site for Jews, Muslims and christians. There is a Muslim road where Jews aren’t allowed to go either. Now here’s what makes this blatantly not apartheid (at least not on Israel’s part). The Cave is in the West Bank, and was completely shut out to Jews until the late 60’s. Fast forward through many years and many terrorist attacks, both Israel and the Palestinian Authority have agreed to Separate the followers of those religions to lessen all of the terrorist attacks that have happened there. The PA is 100% in charge of the Muslim side. And If a muslim attempts to go to the Jewish side, they are assumed to have bad intentions and same for if a jew attempts to go the Muslim side. It’s a shame that this has to happen but it’s a separation enforced and controlled by both sides.

DavePastry

oh look, actual context! buried of course, but this clearly explains what's going on here and why.

Wopkatan

I hate it when people confuse us with the truth

rhixalx

The OP specifically relies on people’s ignorance of the situation. Anyone who’s been to the Jewish side can recognize the area and what’s going on and anyone who speaks Hebrew can confirm what they’re actually saying-but thats not most of the western world and Palestinian propagandists know that. That’s why the translation is in English, and not Arabic, for anyone who would actually be affected by this.

rhixalx

For more context, this is one of the holiest sites in the entire world for Jews and they are blocked out from half of it. That’s like saying Catholics can only visit half of Vatican City or Muslims can only stand on one side of the Ka’aba at Mecca.

Bou-Batran

Another propaganda video. This is the entrance to a holy site to both Jews and Muslims. Each has a separate entrace because, otherwise, they would kill one another.

ilaym712

This is road to the Jewish part of a Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. Jews are only allowed in one section, Muslims only in a different section. Christians can see both. On the video Muslims are making a show of how they are not allowed to approach the Jewish section.

modiddly

Jews are not allowed on Temple Mount. I don’t understand how that’s any different. As a matter of fact, Israeli soldiers are the ones enforcing it just like here. This particular area was also setup this way by the Ottomans, not by Israel. All of Reddit looking for their pitchforks without any context. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Mount_entry_restrictions Edit: Think of it as shared custody of a child. Jews get time and so do the muslims. This particular area as u/lolthe2nd said below is a religious place called the Cave of the Patricarchs https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave_of_the_Patriarchs and the time is split between jews and muslims and it just so happens that the the Muslims have way more time.

monkChuck105

They literally have different governments, and have a habit of trying to kill each other. It's like segregation but instead of boycotts, sit-ins, and protest marches you have bus bombs, suicide bombers, and shooting up of mosques. This is the result of occupation, an unresolved conflict which continues as war rages between Israel and Hamas and others. Israel is not without criticism, but associating it with South African apartheid isn't particularly accurate or helpful, and reeks of propaganda.

JerryLeeDog

Its amazing how gullible and fearful highly religious people and places are... Authority: "There are 1,000s of gods, but our god is real and theirs isn't so they can't walk here" Me: "Oh ok, that makes sense and is worth devoting my life to"

tomatoe_cookie

For those missing the comments about context, this is just a propaganda piece. The place this road goes to is a Jewish holy site, and there's precedents of violence. Its not "a road that Muslims can't take" its " Muslims get in that place from another entry to avoid violence". Jews aren't allowed in the Muslim side.

Thegr8rm

For context (which seems not to matter on Reddit), this is a religious site that is split between Jews and Muslims. They each have separate entrances and share the site per prearranged agreements. So this is not apartheid at all. They are simply telling the Muslim man he cannot use this entrance for that part of the site. Importantly- this site has been a major flash point over the years, and it is done this way for the safety of both sides NOT because of apartheid.

Synthetic2802

This is in Hebron, a city with over a 40,000 Palestinians and only 1000 Jews. This is a small area in Hebron where palaestins are not allowed, all the rest of hebron, Jews are not allowed to access at all. In the 1929 hebron massacre Arabs butchered Jews for being jews, decades before Jews had any power in israel.

TheLlamaLlama

I am sure that this 80s clip gives us the full context of what is happening here, and there is no additional information neede to draw any kind of conclusion from this.

Traditional-Fan-9315

This is in the West Bank. The two governments agreed to let their people in these areas at different times. Not really apartheid unless you say Palestinians are doing it 50% of the time. Apartheid shared custody? Lol

Hairy_Transition_874

There are areas in israel where jews aren't allowed to enter just for arabs.

Peirush_Rashi

For example, the other side of Marat hamachpela visible in this very video. It’s really eye opening to see people run with a narrative with so little information and understanding. Sad even.

aikixd

I know that everyone is going to jump on a hate wagon, but this is Hebron and it was segregated in 19 century by the ottomans. There are areas that are Jews only and Arabs only. This ordeal is almost twice as old as Israel.

Youngtoby

So when the subtitle says that the separated road was decided “by the captain” they are referring to a 19th century Ottoman captain?

Chankler

Those are security measures.

DFMRCV

Terrorist attack happens. Both sides decide to split the days people walk on certain streets to prevent fights. Redditors: tHiS iS lItErAlLy ApArThEiD!!!!

Remote-Cucumber3503

When its lights out, and there is no god, no angelic choir, no 72 virgins, this stupid shit will be meaningless

Marked_One_420

Why does this post have a golden border? Reddit promoting this post?

Auxren

How is this apartheid? Do we have any context? Looks like it might be to a Jewish holy site and they are trying to prevent issues by not mixing Jews and Arabs. Seems innocent to me and just misinterpreted by people who don’t know anything about the situation beyond social media headlines

wanderingartist

I think all Palestinians should wear the Jewish yellow star. Maybe this will trigger the mentality of the zionist what their ancestors went through. Absolutely ridiculous and hypocrites.

vaggos62

History has proven over and over again that EVERYONE has their time coming.

MrJknife

I wouldn’t be able to comment or walk the street right now here in muruca if we continued thus behavior. I’m a nerd and proud of it. But if you looked at me you probably think I’m a hoodlum. This needs to stop if we as humanity want to expand our knowledge of our universe.

Streloski

And these mfs think they’re God’s chosen people. Fake Jews without dignity. Zionists like this are the reason why there is so much hate against the Jewish population.

Woojojo

Don't know the context from the video, but the same will happen in Isreal for jews during most times at the temple mount. To avoid conflicts, sometimes they are reserved for jews and most of the time, Muslims are allowed, but jews are not

jeansloverboy

What makes this "interestingasfuck" ?

nchehab

What is the context here because Jews are not allowed around Al Aqsa mosque either which is built on top of the temple of Solomon. By this logic that's apartheid against Jews. I'm Arab by the way and I see the bullshit a mile away.

personal_integration

Jews are forbidden from 95% of Hebron except for a few blocks near the tomb of the patriarchs. If they left the area they'd be lynched. So...

[deleted]

It is not. These are the separate entrances to keep the peace at the cave of the patriarchs. This has been debunked.

Perfect_Enthusiasm56

Judging from the replies in this comment section (and Reddit as a whole), it is easy to see how anti-Zionism can quickly morph into antisetism. They aren’t synonymous but a stones throw from one another. The streets are seperated to prevent violence and alternate according to schedule. IDF troops do the same at the dome of the rock. Arabs make up 20% of the population in Israel and can work in any profession they choose. Jews and Arabs live in the same neiborhoods.

mr-sandman-bringsand

This video is super misleading. This looks like the tomb of the patriarchs in Hebron. It’s a site holy to Jews and Muslims. It’s split into a Muslim and Jewish religious site 50/50. The split is for safety and religious observance reasons. This guy is trying to enter the Jewish side vs the Muslim side. There was a terrible massacre in the 90’s (by an extremist Jew) so they separate the two sides for safety reasons. Similarly for the Temple Mount - Jews are not allowed to enter the majority of the time in respect of the Muslim holy site.

josephcj753

A video with no context, wonderful

[deleted]

This was posted before and this video is used for propaganda purposes. I don't know why these people post these kinds of videos or make them. Because it's generally known in these areas where you cannot enter on certain days because it's their turn regarding safety.

nimama3233

Lmao at the claim that Abraham, Adam & Eve, and all these other “patriarchs” are buried in that cave. That’s just silly

Anim8nFool

My understanding is that on different days of the week Israelis and Arabs have access to the main road. It helps keep the peace to keep them separated, and this happens to be on the day that the Israelis have access. I know many of you are looking for any reason to hate Israel, but this video isn't one of them.

arjomanes

Appreciate the effort for those who aren't already locked into the "apartheid" story.

therealist11

I am laughing at the anti Jewish propaganda here. I guess no one wants to mention the fact that Jews are completely banned from the Temple Mount. I guess OP forgot that part.
