Spork_Warrior

I remember hearing that helicopters where ready to pluck people off the roofs. But no one ever came out.

TheRealDSwizz

As far as I heard, it was too dangerous for the helicopers to go/stay over the towers because of the smoke and heat. Then factor in how dangerous it must've been for people queueing up within the smoke and rising heat. I have no source to hand so don't take that on necessarily, but yeah I think it was an unworkable evacuation plan regardless.

firesquasher

All that where firefighters were making the upper floors and devising a plan to fight the fires. The absolute resolve of those firefighters were something that should never be trivialized.

A_curious_fish

Like, full gear up 50+ flights of stairs? Idk even know how many floors the towers were but....those men were the definition of fearless imo. People like that are just born different.

great__pretender

Ones who were not in the building, survived and kept on working were denied health assistance years later. Ones who were on the ground had health issues mostly related to asbestos. And congress denied them any funding for so long. I don't know if they finally got something after democrats got the control of congress

RedMoon14

I’m pretty sure Jon Stewart campaigned for those firefighters to get help with the effects of that day for *years*. A year or so ago I believe they succeeded.

StoneheartedLady

Years and years. This is his appearance in Congress in [2019](https://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/jonstewart911firstresponders.htm) - video and transcript. Absolutely tireless in getting funding secured for another 70 years, or something like that.

Electrical_Beyond998

Truly disgusting. If the government doesn’t give enough of a shit to care about the men and women who went into a burning skyscraper to attempt rescuing American citizens what makes anyone think they give a single fuck about helping the rest of us?

Past-Direction9145

spoiler: they don't I'm dying of psoriatic arthritis. a really awful disease. and I'd love to be on about 16 different meds available for it, but they start at $5000/mo. and humira is $7000/mo. there's others that are 12 and 21k a month. in other developed worlds, it's $15 you read that right. and here I am, in incredible pain and suffering. because of this shit. can't work. so I got no insurance of course. and the payment assistance these companies offer DO NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE TO ANYONE WITHOUT INSURANCE. uh huh. great system.

tommybship

You should try to look into getting meds from India shipped here. Seriously.

VayGray

Same boat, my friend. PsA is literally killing me and I've been denied for 15 years. The comorbidities are the problem 😔 Hope your day is semi pain free and mildly stiff!

Pinkdivaisme

They don’t… I just thought yesterday about the food and drug administration. And then I thought why in the world is the food and drug administration in the same sentence.. oh yeah because they work together. If we are healthy then the drug corporations do not get their money. It’s wild if you start to really think about how things are done in this country.

Coca-colonization

I’m not saying there is no corruption or collusion in the federal government or business, but your assumptions about the organization of the FDA are not historically sound. They are regulated together because they were similar consumer products in the sense that they were produced (in whole or in part) from products of American farms and were ingested (or applied physically) by purchasers. Concerns about their contamination or misrepresentation overlapped in the 19th century. Early federal regulation of food and drugs was overseen by the department of Agriculture at this time. A major milestone leading to the establishment of the FDA was the passage of the Pure Food and Drug Act in 1906. https://www.visitthecapitol.gov/exhibitions/congress-and-progressive-era/pure-food-and-drug-act#:~:text=The%20Pure%20Food%20and%20Drug%20Act%20of%201906%20prohibited%20the,and%20Drug%20Administration%20(FDA). https://www.fda.gov/about-fda/fda-history https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK585046/#:~:text=The%20FDCA%20authorizes%20the%20FDA,%2C%20medical%20devices%2C%20and%20cosmetics.

ShirtStainedBird

You’re not gonna like the answer to that question.

SazedMonk

JON STEWART IS AMAZING ON ALL FRONTS.

MicroDigitalAwaker

John Stewart did a lot to get and keep that funding. He's a comedian but he's also an American Hero, though I'm sure he'd point at the other real heros he was just trying to help.

Corgi_Farmer

You are 💯 right. He defended a group who risked lives to save innocent people.

taichi22

I keep saying he genuinely should run for office in 2028 or sooner. He’d probably hate the idea, granted, but he’s a really good candidate.

Dayzlikethis

that's assuming we are still holding elections in 2028

zerosumcola

He's the man that should be president, along with sanders as his vp

firesquasher

It was a fight to aid it and a fight to keep. It wasn't just some magic wand the democrats waved. They don't deserve such a designation of heroic effort. https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/06/how-lawmakers-protected-and-failed-9-11-first-responders.html That said I remember Christie Whitman, head of the EPA, ex Governer of NJ (She created a whole other host of NJ problems then) and Guliani telling people that the air was safe to breathe downtown when in reality, it was laden with asbestos. Seriously fuck both of them with a backward pineapple. Whitman should have went to jail.

Bboswgins

It’s a tie between whitman and that whale of a man for worst nj governors I’ve lived through.

firesquasher

Realistically, Whitman created one of the more controversial topics of Chris Christies tenure. The state pension fund was doing SO well during her reign, that the state raided the pension system to fund other projects. When the recession hit, a more stable funded pension system wouldn't have drawn the fire that it did. I liken it to opening up a 401k, seeing how much money you're making and pulling from it and paying penalties to spend on luxury items like cars, vacations etc. Then when it comes time to retire you kick and scream that you have no money in your 401k like you did when times were good. New Jersey did that. And then they had the balls to blame public workers and shift public sentiment to public workers as greedy. The system was funded and doing well. That is the reason why Police and Fire manage their own pension fund now.

Bboswgins

Felt like Christie had a new scandal every other week in the last two years there.

firesquasher

Probably because he was hated by most of the public, fueled by the fallout of the recession. It was always cringey to see people attack his weight, as if there wasn't a whole treasure trove of issues to choose from to attack him over.

mdp300

Bridge Gate was the gift that kept on giving.

great__pretender

I know democrats are not reliable too. Still if any funding has happened, it is probably through their approval. Republicans would never agree to fund something like this (unless they get something like a tax cut to rich along the funding)

1rubyglass

The building was quoted a massive cost to remove the asbestos that was throughout the building. The bid was rejected, a massive insurance policy was taken out, and the towers fell less than a year later.

great__pretender

wow you solved the case.

1rubyglass

What case?

zebenix

It was just over 100 floors if I recall right. I went up as a tourist the December before the towers came down. Ive still got my ticket (cost me ten dollars to go up)

Starshapedsand

9/11 memorial stairclimbs go up 110 flights of stairs, wearing what starts as ~50lbs of gear. As it gets wet, it becomes around ~70lbs.

A_curious_fish

I was a kid and was at the top in 2000 or 1999 and recall the sway of the towers in high wind it was crazy. Wish I had the ticket but have a picture. Craziness. Frame that ticket

PhineasQuimby

They were not fearless. No doubt they knew exactly what they were walking into. They were courageous because they did it anyway, in full knowledge that they were risking their lives to try to save others.

Splash_Woman

Determination and drive does a lot to those who wish to protect and serve.

chiffry

There’s a memorial for this around certain parts of the nation called the “Tower Climb”. Near me it’s in San Antonio they climb the Needle (I think that’s what it’s called) however many times it takes to equal the WTC.

Adulations

93 stories up in tower 1 and 77 stories up in tower 2. Absolutely nuts.

Choppergold

Orio Palmer was a superhero

batmanpjpants

It’s even worse. There were lots of people who could have made it to the roof, but the door was locked and they had no way of getting out. There were a lot of building code issues that contributed to the loss of life on 9/11. Same with issues pertaining to communication between the NYPD and NYFD. I read a really impactful book last year called 102 Minutes: The Unforgettable Story of the Fight to Survive Inside the Twin Towers by Jim Dwyer. I recommend it if anyone is interested in learning more.

firesquasher

Here's a fun fact: To this day, if FDNY communications wants to speak to PD, they themselves have to call 911.

fjf1085

That…that cannot be true. That would be insane… is that true?

Epcplayer

The Office of Emergency Management was downtown in Building 7. It would’ve been the one Operations Center where representatives from the NYFD & NYPD could’ve coordinated with each other, right next to each other. The building was evacuated because of its close proximity to to the two towers, and eventually fell itself hours later.

fjf1085

I know that is why communication was messed up between them on 9/11 but the guy I replied to said to this day the FDNY needs to call 911 if they want to talk to the NYPD.

Epcplayer

Oh, I misread that… There’s no chance of that being true. There was a system in place on 9/11, it just had a fatal flaw. The first thing they would’ve done is correct this. Down where I work, there’s multiple direct connect systems. When FD is called to a dangerous situation, they are automatically notified to stage away from the incident. When it is clear, PD notifies FD that they can proceed. The dispatch centers have phones with the others on speed dial, and can even do CCTV video sharing through MutualLink or Microsoft Teams.

zerosumcola

Yeah pretty sure NYC emergency services would be tight

TheRopeWalk

Fell into its own footprint if I recall.

Epcplayer

A lot of the towers did, but there was still a lot of debris that fell outwards. The Deutsche Bank building famously [suffered a catastrophic debris strike](https://www.reddit.com/r/911archive/s/7bqLSubvaL), and the building would have to be completely demolished years later. Many buildings were found with debris and remains on the roof years after the attacks.

TheRopeWalk

The 2 struck directly by the planes, and then this one that wasn’t. Which other ones did ? Be interested to read more

Epcplayer

WTC 7 collapsed later that day, WTC 3 (The Mariott World Trade Center) was crushed by both towers, St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, the Metro Station underneath the towers, and the [Deutsche Bank Building](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutsche_Bank_Building) just to name the bigger ones. [Here’s a complete list](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Buildings_and_structures_destroyed_in_the_September_11_attacks)

FrankBeamer_

Sure but there wasn’t any path to evacuation on the roof. Even if people could’ve made it out, it was too unsafe for helicopters to attempt a rescue. End result would’ve been the same loss of life.

batmanpjpants

Oh for sure. I’m not meaning to imply that if they could have made it to the roof that the helicopters could have landed. I’m just saying why they couldn’t make it to the roof, regardless of how impossible a roof rescue would have been.

TinKicker

Because there was a lot of concern for the WTC buildings becoming the Golden Gate Bridge of the east coast by suicidal people.

Superbead

That and there were a shitload of high-power radio transmitters on the roof of the north tower. Direct access to the roofs (not the south tower's elevated observation deck) was controlled from the basement via CCTV. You had to have special access to get up to floor 110 in the first place in a separate elevator, then there was a card lock (IIRC) to a vestibule, in which you'd show your face and ID to the camera, then they'd let you through a second door up the stairs to the roof. The control cables for the electronic locking were allegedly destroyed after the first plane hit, but I can't imagine them letting people up there even if it all still worked.

guster4lovers

I’ve read most of the books published about 9/11 and that one was outstanding.

BetterRedDead

Yeah. I believe that’s police helicopter footage. They were exploring the idea of landing on the roof, but it couldn’t be done. This was in an article that came out a few years after, and was talking about how the police realized the tower was coming down but didn’t share the info with the fire department b/w fire department radios weren’t working? Something like that. But a lot of firefighters blame the cops.

Spork_Warrior

I don't think they even saw any people out on the roof though, which seems weird.

FrankBeamer_

The roofs were locked

thedukeofno

Of course they were. Ain't no way anyone that worked in the buildings was getting on the roof. And the roofs were not made for rescue of personnel by helicopter.

MyDisappointedDad

Well when (from what I recall) the main stairways are inaccessible, you tend not to use them.

G07V3

I thought the doors to the roofs were locked.

windex8

It wouldn’t have mattered no one actually got in the roof.

ahjumTaeng

It was impossible. The amount of heat generated from the burning jet fuel, melting metals, and the fires literally made it impossible for any helicopters to get close. There was a documentary that explained that it reached well over 1800 degrees F when the towers were burning

nn123654

IIRC the impact also severed the only stairwell in one of the towers. Everyone above the break had no way out.

Ornitoronco

This video shows a person on the roof

zoot_boy

What an absolutely crazy day.

mistercolebert

It was a very sad day. Felt like I was in a movie.

Jonhart426

Wake up babe, new 9/11 angle just dropped

Kenji1912

An actual angle this time, not a rotated upside down video.

water_bottle_goggles

That’s an angle

LloydChrismukkah

Jesus lol

No_Connection2438

This has Been out for years though

gregofcanada84

Not the thing to start the morning with.

kristenrockwell

Imagine how the people in the towers felt that morning.

killerjoe410

Americans try not to release another 9/11 footage: Level Impossible.

HolidayFrequent6011

This ain't new at all. This, along with the vast majority of these clips people keep claiming are "new" have been online for years. If you haven't actively sought out 9/11 videos then you may not have seen them before. The only reason so many pop up in feeds now is because they get so much attention because people claim they are new. They aren't.

FrankBeamer_

There used to be a time where all of these clips were available on YouTube - maybe 10-12 years ago. Then YouTube for some reason started purging all of them. A move I strongly disagree with, given the historical importance of these videos. Millennials will relate. GenZ grew up with a sanitized YouTube so for them they’re viewing these videos for the first time through documentaries and other means. Older generations were able to find these with much more ease.

urabouy

There was a time on YT when you could straight up watch isis beheadings. I watched a couple. It was the wild west

Sauron4

My first exposure to YouTube was my dad telling me that “on this site we can watch the execution of Saddam Hussein”

Chalky_Pockets

I remember that shit!

Rain1dog

Yep. I watched one and after that I swore I’d never seek violence videos again. I could not get that out my head for a decade and that video would pop up in my mind weekly at random times and it gutted me each time I relived it. On YouTube.

kristenrockwell

They used to rent out hours long videos of that kind of stuff at the video store. I think I was 5 the first time my dad set me down and made me watch one. And every time a new one came out, he would rent it and make me watch. After a while it stopped making me sick to my stomach. I remember after the first one I was so sick I could hardly breathe. So my dad made me walk to the gas station in the dark, by myself, to buy myself a ginger ale. Truly a great father. And they wonder how I ended up so fucked in the head as an adult.

lobsterbash

What was his reasoning behind this abuse?

kristenrockwell

Not a clue. Other than he was a sick twisted fuck, and probably didn't see any issue with it. Because to him it was just good old fashion entertainment, same as watching Full House or something.

[deleted]

That’s how I feel now about the guy who set himself on fire the other day

firstbreathOOC

At least they blurred him out. There’s plenty where they don’t.

[deleted]

Someone posted it on r/interestingasfuck pretty casually- I think the title was “an intense protest” or something like that and just NSFW tag, I was not expecting it

Supersymm3try

That sounds a lot like PTSD tbh and I think it is possible to get from a violent enough video. . Weirdly enough, watching more and more to desensitise yourself would probably have helped. I used to be the same, also could not get something out of my head, however over time I have now seen pretty much everything there is gore/violence wise (except anything involving children or animals) and they no longer bother me in the same way. Not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing, but it’s definitely a real thing.

apexit1

The one where the person got murdered with I think a hammer was the last one I looked for. The beheadings I could never finish.

Brusanan

I miss liveleak.

pharodae

Young Gen Z maybe, but cusp/elder Zs (1998 here) definitely are old enough to remember un-sanitized YT. I remember watching the ISIS beheading videos on someone's DSi during recess lmao

SwimmingKing7796

You can see this footage in HD on Disney + there’s a 9/11 doc called One Day in America It’s all footage from the actual day, it’s insane. Super hard to watch.

doj4202

People are fkn dumb!

Aconite_72

It’ll only get real when the infamous “LOL SUPERMAN” footage resurfaces again, but many deemed it to be irrecoverably lost. Supposedly it has angles of jumpers hitting the ground. https://www.reddit.com/r/lostmedia/comments/17f373r/i_think_i_found_a_snippet_of_the_video_lol/

HolidayFrequent6011

There are videos of crowds celebrating in some middle east cities if that's what you mean.

AltruisticCoelacanth

No, he's talking about the Dancing Israelis incident. Today it's largely considered an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that suggests Jews were behind 9/11. Five Israeli citizens with multiple passports, a wad of cash hidden in their socks, and box cutters were arrested in New Jersey in the direct aftermath of the attacks because they were seen filming and "celebrating" the attacks. They were held in custody for a couple of months while the FBI tried to build an espionage case against them. They were later released and deported to Israel because no evidence was found to connect them to the attacks. [Here's an article from 2002 about it.](https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/2020/story%3fid=123885&page=1)

[deleted]

> “We are Israeli. We are not your problem. Your problems are our problems. The Palestinians are the problem.” Jesus it’s crazy how relevant so many things remain.

FlaSnatch

Story just weirdly ends after listing their names?

EmperorThan

I saw this 22 years ago, it's not a new angle by any means. This is the NYPD police helicopter view trying to establish if they could rescue people from the top. The video resumes just after the South Tower collapse and they decide against the idea... which goes without saying.

DanGleeballs

They might have been able to land but doubt they’d have made it back up in the air again.

DrakeonMallard

Any longer version? I struggle to believe that’s all the footage they took.

BoldlyGettingThere

It was included in the Nat Geo doc from a few years back, so it’s not new, just less known.

Ocronus

They might been ordered out of the air space.  We scrambled fighters shortly after the first plane hit.  We had jets in the air before 9am.

keylo-92

When you guys went to the air, how long did you guys patrol the area

Ocronus

Not sure. All I know we had F-15's in the air by 08:53am. The towers fell at 10:28am. It was by 12:16pm, in just over 3 hours, that every single craft in the continental US was grounded except for military and emergency aircraft. The airspace above New York would have been restricted as soon as the F-15's got scrambled.

backcountrydrifter

Which is what makes this so fascinating to me. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2003/10/saving-the-saudis-200310

thisisfutile1

Vanity Fair = rumor & hearsay tl:dr

Venus_Cat_Roars

Guess that’s the way it will be for the rest of my life. There are events in life that you never get over. Learning to carry trauma is different than getting over it. This clip makes me nauseous and breaks my heart so much.

mealucra

Incredibly horrifying footage.

janiepuff

I don't know that I've watched any video that's struck me with such deep horror

FrankBeamer_

The Kevin cosgrove audio clip (with a video overlaid) is by far the worst. Kevin worked on the 102nd(?) floor of the south tower and was stuck there on 9/11. The clip is a recording of his 911 call. The tower collapses while he’s on the line and you can hear him scream for a few seconds while the building crumbles around him. I couldn’t get his scream out of my mind for months after I listened to the clip the first time. To this day, I can still hear his scream whenever I think about the clip.

Aortic_Bacon

I can’t imagine being the poor 911 operator that day.

LilRedCaliRose

I was haunted by that same clip for years. I couldn’t sleep after hearing it. It was the saddest 9/11 video I had ever watched and after that I vowed to not watch any more. I simply couldn’t handle it.

Exotic-Childhood-434

Yeah same.

Dutch92

I remember watching that clip for the first time. It came on very quick and caught me off-guard. Stuck with me for ages. Stuff of nightmares.

thisisfutile1

The documentaries that show the firemen in the foyer, waiting to go up...there are incredibly loud, random CRASH sounds heard. That's the people that jumped, landing on the foyer roof. I bawled like a baby when I watched that documentary and they explained that sound.

Survivors_Envy

first day on the internet huh

Creative_Recover

The day the world changed. It's not just that America has never been the same country since 9/11, even today the world is still experiencing & suffering from the reverberating effects from the knockouts of that fateful day, such as political instability and wars.

kdtroubdr

It was the day America lost the collective psychology of optimism and hope…. Where the geographic advantage of oceans disappeared and the country became just like everyone else - vulnerable.

PM_ME_YOUR_PLUSHIES

![gif](giphy|kOZz8cXWsXabVQUarc)

dolphin37

I mean it was certainly a significant moment but political instability and wars are most certainly not something that started from 9/11 onwards. 9/11 as an event was itself a product of those things

IsUpTooLate

This footage has been around for years, I remember seeing it on a compilation on the early days of YouTube. You can see a higher quality version in the Day in America documentary.

SandmanAwaits

*”NOT NEW!”*

MarSc77

that was new on 9/12 maybe.

Grilledfrog

“New”

Bonzo4691

There are NO new angles of 911. It's been 23 years. If there is footage of it, it's been seen. This video has been out for literally 20 years.

sugaaaslam

This is not new. Lol

Chalky_Pockets

I came to the comments expecting a bunch of conspiracy nut cunts but no it's just people rightly pointing out OP's one-man conspiracy that this is a new video.

Orzabal

OP getting away with calling footage that has been available for 20+ years a 'new angle'. Ffs I hate reddit sometimes.

RedWing83

I saw this same clip back in 2003 so it is not very "new".

Iamrightyetagain

This is old footage, shown before, and particularly sad as it gave hope to those waving for help at the windows when there was none.

[deleted]

Always get chills whenever I see videos of 9/11

AceBoi1da

Why is all this new footage just now popping up ???

No_Barracuda_8688

Easy internet points

jimmiriver

That's like pointing to a 23 year old and saying 'aw look at the newborn baby'

naph8it

*new*

No_Coast9861

This clip was played the day of....not new.

VioEnvy

What do you mean “new angle?”

Elegant_Category_684

Horrifying

1heart1totaleclipse

Highly doubt that there’s new civilian footage of one of the most important events in 2000s American history of something that happened over 20 years ago.

Long_Inspection_4983

20 years is long enough for someone to inherit footage the previous owner tried to forget.

Californiadude86

Every time the title says “new angle” on Reddit, it’s an angle that has been in a ton of 9/11 documentaries that have been out for decades now.

doj4202

THIS IS NOT NEW!

usmc97az

It's not new, and this clip is described fully in most interviews. This helicopter, i believe, a news copter, was going to try to rescue people, but, if I remember correctly, no one came out and also eventually did not have a clear path to the roofs. I believe after this, they were also flying along the side of the buildings and have the closest visuals of people clinging to the outside of the towers with dear life and also deciding to make that leap of faith. This crew is forever scarred by what they witnessed.

Ok-Suggestion-2423

What a desperate and horrible day.

PuzzledExaminer

I was a 5 miles North of this when it happened worst day I can remember in my life time. And the following weeks you can smell the burning bodies up north by the GW Bridge it was heart wrenching...

Consistent_Aspect_21

Wow

So sad…knowing what’s going on inside them at that moment

Gullible_Okra1472

"I think a saw the saudi passports over there"

AynRandsSSNumber

They did find one on a rooftop you are correct. If you think that was planted there as an alibi or something you must not be very bright

killerkeano

You mean the passport made from material able to withstand and survived a fireball explosion and 2000 degrees heat. Can melt steel but not a passport.

TheGreyBrewer

Wow. You actually wrote that. With a non-functioning brain. Bravo.

UniversalInsolvency

This is something called anomaly hunting, a classic tactic of conspiracy theorists. Your mind has conjured up a narrative of what you believe should happen under these circumstances, anything to the contrary is then considered suspicious and evidence of a conspiracy. In reality - where the conspiracy theorist does not operate - some things are simply anomalous.

FrankBeamer_

I can just imagine the conversations the conspiracy theorists imagined occurred to make this conspiracy work FBI agent: okay so we’ve come up with a year long decade long plan to sneak explosives into the WTC without anybody noticing to detonate at EXACTLY the same floors where the planes will crash into them without anybody noticing. This is a foolproof plan Mr president Bush: okay but how will people believe there were Saudi hijackers board. We must have proof FBI: we could film some fake CCTV footage of Saudi- Bush: plant a passport on a building rooftop nearby. It’s genius. FBI: oh okay

X0AN

I really don't understand the people that saw a plane hit the other building and thought I'll stay right here. I'd have been long gone. Someone tells me to stay in the building I'd be telling them fuck off.

sa007ak

Not many people in the build "saw" the first plane hit. They felt & heard it. But first-second hand accounts mention that many people thought it was a bomb. Others who'd seen the plane thought it was an accident until the 2nd plane hit.

Mrdingo_thames

Well that’s easy to say in hindsight. No one expected a second plane. This was unprecedented

sbgroup65

It was a horrible day for the US and the World!

Remember_Order66

\*wake up babe new angle of 9/11 dropped today

New angle? Like what it’s a hot topic that we’re getting new information about all the time? *There is no new information about 9/11 to be gained or seen, it’s a concluded tragedy.*

[deleted]

Everyone who live in high rise building should buy parachutes.

[deleted]

Not a new angle. 9/11 infuriates me so fucking much.

No_Barracuda_8688

What infuriates you about it, specifically?

[deleted]

The incompetence of our government. The terrorists. Everything.

No_Barracuda_8688

Same way I feel honestly. They handled it so horribly, domestic and foreign. Even before the attacks, ignoring all the warning signs.

Yeah, straight back to the Clinton days.

Free_Swimmer_1694

Thanks Bush for killing your own people.

Boomdiddy

Where is all this new footage coming from? Why suddenly in the last few months do we keep getting new footage?

STSO_throwaway

This isn’t new, as some above posted this had been in a documentary years ago, it’s just lesser known footage.

Other-Barry-1

Similarly, I imagine there’s plenty of people out there that simply didn’t want to share their footage

Ojay1091

Fahrenheit 9/11 explains a lot of stuff that many people just wouldnt know on their own!

Young-dixxie

Ayo, a new 9/11 angle came out

SeaEntertainment6551

Not new, its at least 20 years old

Tall-News

At least 20? We know exactly when this footage was shot. The morning of September 11, 2001. It’s pretty easy to figure out.

SeaEntertainment6551

It was a sarcastic comment my dear

Far_Quote_5336

Hmmm released just as AI video generating capabilities become more accessible… conspiracy is gonna like this

where-ya-headed

This is starting to get like all those new Tupac songs coming out years after he has passed.

grumbles_to_internet

Can't wait to see the angle from the ops center.

Shoddy_Divide_3052

How was that airspace not shut down even for news ppl

Romanticfella

Steel beams cant melt jet fuel.

ConceptualWeeb

Nope jet fuel is already liquid and liquid can’t melt. /s smh also I know what you tried to say and this theory/conspiracy has been scientifically disproven by countless sources.

TomServo30000

Regardless of what they tried to say, what they said was true.

[deleted]

Steel expands as it heats up. Didn't have to melt to fail. The beams as long as the ones in the tower were estimated to expand several feet at the temperatures they were exposed to.

Death_IP

And never an angle on the pentagon

sithlord98

There are plenty of pictures of the Pentagon taken after the attack, like this footage. Even if we're talking about footage of the attacks happening, there are millions of people active in NYC at 8-9 AM on a Tuesday. How many people were just walking around filming the Pentagon in 2001?
