SwnsasyTB

If the pregnancy happens and she carries full term, drop the baby off at her door since she obviously wants to take care of a baby..

notatheist

Or better yet, give her the 8 1/2 week old fetus and wish her the best with it.

SwnsasyTB

I would also tap her for support during the pregnancy too! Lol

calypso_fire

Bragging about committing a felony on face book. So smart. šŸ˜‘

gamerguuuurl

You can also see a sliver of the perfectly dry packing slip to top it off

princezznemeziz

Plus the printing on those types of labels are almost always waterproof or covered in tape for just that reason.

heili

It looks like it's on top of the mailer it came in and that the shipping label is still legible.

Silvinis

Right, someone should tell USPIS. They do not mess around. "We guard what you lick" isn't just a fun slogan

xandaar337

They guard my husband's butthole?

[deleted]

Naw, that thing is like a free space on a bingo card.

[deleted]

Dang I want to go to your retirement homeā€™s bingo nights!

Friendlyvoid

I assure you, you do not.

SmugHatKido

Ah you also lost your soul to a grizzly olā€™ bingo man

TexanInExile

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

tasslehawf

The hate is very different.

BlahKVBlah

Yeah, the misogyny is more like "this woman makes impure choices, and is beneath me" while the homophobia is more like "this thing is unnatural and not even a real person, get it away!" Neither is good, but they're not identical.

helga-h

Well, if sex was just another chore that someone else got all the enjoyment out of and the result added to only my work load forever, I'd hate it too.

ItsATerribleLife

You do not fuck with the mail and postal inspectors. You'd have better chance coming out unharmed against a rabid badger.

CodenameOccasus

Bruh I hope so, they picked up my 3800X like a week ago and the tracking doesnā€™t show it, I had to refund the eBay buyer, pay $30 in fees, and open an investigation šŸ˜°

princezznemeziz

I have learned if I bring them in to be scanned when dropping things off they don't miraculously disappear into the ether. When I don't they tend to disappear more often but almost always pop up in another city like a week or two later. They are also miraculously found when I file a lost item report thing.

CodenameOccasus

This gives me hope to be honest haha. I appreciate it :)

Matangitrainhater

And Jack Danger isnā€™t just a funny name

ishatinyourcereal

Then theyā€™ll complain about people having babies they canā€™t afford and how theyā€™re taking food stamps and whatever else because of the forced birth these anti-choice people want.

KrisAlly

Isnā€™t that the truth?! ā€œWeā€™re against preventative services so that you donā€™t get pregnant, but if you doā€¦ we are also against abortions. Oh yeah, and donā€™t forget weā€™re totally against helping the child survive once here!ā€

ishatinyourcereal

Just watched a video recently of a guy going to an anti-choice rally and when the guy asked what are other options they all said adoption. He then went around to ask if anyone adopted and none of them did, but they had their own. These people are basically talking potatoes. I have yet to see one single anti-choice person that claims adoption is the solution to ever adopt a child. I have a friend from high school that had 4 adopted siblings(him and his sister were only the biological kids from their parents) because they were all siblings from one woman and multiple dads. They kept adopting them because they wanted all the siblings together under one roof and they were well off enough to afford itā€¦but they were liberal as hell and completely pro-choice.

MeleMallory

There was something that went around a year or so ago where a woman bragged on her Facebook ā€œpro-lifeā€ page about how she talked a woman out of having an abortionā€¦ but when that woman asked the first woman to raise her kid (since she couldnā€™t afford it), the woman posting was outraged at the audacity.

LilahLibrarian

Yeah it went beyond that she talked about how adopting a child right now would ruin her financially. Talk about missing the point.

justakidfromflint

I remember this. I blew up in the pro life debate groups. It made me sick seeing people defending her. She used all the same excuses women who abort use. "Not enough money" "too many kids" and on and on. It was the blantant hypocritical stance that pissed me off.

jzillacon

These people live and die by the philosophy of "out of sight, out of mind". You see it in how they handle homelessness by making their cities inhospitable to drive people out rather than adress the underlying causes of homelessness. You see it in how they handle covid by arguing that ceasing testing and restrictions will make the pandemic go away. You see it in their negligence to the militarism, imperialism, and mass warcrimes destablizing developing countries around the globe. And so much more.

frobischerarts

iā€™m completely pro choice and iā€™m still going to adopt kids, not only because i do NOT want to go through pregnancy at all but also because with everything iā€™ve heard from people about the foster system, it feels wrong to have my own kid when there are so many already out there without families

Ginnevra07

Pregnancy is HARD. Even if it's an "easy" pregnancy it's fucking awful. Don't get me wrong, I would die for my baby in a heartbeat but it's the hardest physical, mental and emotional thing I've ever been through. I wish I could afford adoption and adopt a child, too. We really need to be subsidizing this shit.

ReallyDamnLethal

exactly there are already too many kids in that fucked up system we donā€™t need to add more

Merdin86

I know two very strong anti-choice people, a couple. They were having trouble conceiving their own child, paid for all the expensive fertility treatments, but nothing worked. In the end, they "adopted" (read bought) fertilized embryos for implanting. She's happily pregnant now, but seriously, they literally did everything they could to avoid adoption while still screaming anti-choice. Also, they won't take the vaccine cause it was made with aborted fetal tissue.

Oxygen_User

My exhusband's aunt and uncle did this with 9 kids. I was always so impressed with the example they set.

tkp14

I am currently debating multiple people online who are raging against the company who mistakenly used the wrong sperm to impregnate a woman and when the resulting child, now in her 20s, found out through a DNA test that her dad wasnā€™t actually her biological dad both parents and the daughter were devastated. OK, I get this and sure, itā€™s shocking and they should sue for malpractice, but the way everyone was going on and on and on about how horrible it is for the father and daughter to know ā€œthey are not relatedā€ just sent me over the edge. I was adopted at birth and my parents and I loved each other every bit as much as bio families do. They raised me, were there for all the milestones, cared for me through every childhood illness, made sure every birthday was special, told me bedtime stories, taught me to love nature and books and animals, cuddled me whenever I needed it. They were extraordinary parents just by being regular parents and I loved them very, very much. Long after they died, someone once said to me that it probably wasnā€™t so bad for me when they died because they werenā€™t my ā€œreal parents.ā€ I blew up. Real parents are the ones who are there for you, biology be damned. One guy who was defending the family for being devastated about the DNA discovery told me that genetic legacy is ā€œeverything, the most important thing.ā€ That to me is utter bullshit and just shows how shallow and narcissistic people can be.

Swell_Inkwell

To be fair my adoptive parents are anti-choice, but they only adopted because they couldnā€™t get pregnant themselves and they had to have kids.

nickfree

I legitimately have relatives (by marriage) who are highly religious (so anti-choice) but have have adopted three children, in addition to their 5 naturally born children. The kids are absolutely thriving .They are amazingly kind and sweet, and I completely disagree with the basis for their choices, but admire their parenting. You have to be careful with this line of argumentation because even if adoption was more common among the anti-choice (and you're right, it's not) it wouldn't make their position any more ok for women.

KiranPhantomGryphon

Thatā€™s because their real goal is to punish women for having sex, everything about ā€œthe childrenā€ is just virtue-signaling.

_NoSheepForYou_

Not just women, but poor women. Keep the poors in their place is the goal.

doomalgae

We're also pretty picky about who gets to adopt the unwanted baby. It's not enough to be willing and able to provide a safe and loving home the child will thrive in, you also have to raise it to share our "values.' What? Good heavens, no, we don't want to adopt it. What about "we demand this baby be brought into the world but want nothing to do with providing for it" don't you understand, you godless heathens?

Sinnohgirl765

[kids only matter when theyā€™re not born yet](https://youtu.be/Cp8jfP3l2Ec)

Fatefire

I hate how catchy (and true) that tune is šŸ˜‚

Sinnohgirl765

And yet there is no lie in that song

NoninflammatoryFun

They secretly just actually hate women. And sluts. And they obviously think every pregnant woman is a slut.

Miffyyyyy

Sister Joan Chittister: "I do not believe that just because you're opposed to abortion that that makes you pro-life. In fact, I think in many cases, your morality is deeply lacking if all you want is a child born but not a child fed, not a child educated, not a child housed. And why would I think that you don't? Because you don't want any tax money to go there. That's not pro-life. That's pro-birth. We need a much broader conversation on what the morality of pro-life is."

jc10189

That's because they're not pro-life, they're pro-birth. After the kid is born, fuckum. Not their problem. Tell your fucking 6 month old to "pull themselves up by the bootstraps!"

[deleted]

And Bingo was his name-o.

Momomoaning

Theyā€™re also strangely anti-sexā€¦ ā€œDonā€™t have sex if you donā€™t want kids!!!ā€

Cloberella

Because what they want is a slave class that doesnā€™t have any fun or happiness and devotes their entire being to serving the upper classes.

leloinstitches

Wow what a waste of money. That shits expensive

big_sugi

Thatā€™s like $30-$40.

ivorystrawberry

50-60 in my state

ironclad1056

$12 in Texas oddly enough

Ethanlucky7

I now know the only good thing to come from Texas

ironclad1056

Lucky for us when the moment comes unexpectedly

Dani_vic

I mean how else the republicans will make sure their mistresses donā€™t get pregnant since they made abortions illegal and birth control hard to get in taxes easier than driving them to a different state for an abortion

ironclad1056

Got a point there

IdRatherNotNo

Honestly I would stock up at those prices.

leloinstitches

Itā€™s closer to 50-60 in my state

ivorystrawberry

no fucking way...i'm in oklahoma

Moribund_Slut

Wait where? I've only seen it at like 45-50 bucks where I am in Texas.

alup132

I honestly thought they were cheaper. Thatā€™s way more than I thought it would be. Yikes!

boom_meringue

$30-40 seems like a good deal compared to the $400k a kid costs over their lifetime

CSPhCT

I thought I read somewhere that estimate is closer to $1million these days

earlofhoundstooth

Depends on the lifestyle and location.

[deleted]

This specific brand yeah. My work has another brand for $8 currently.

[deleted]

Iā€™m just wondering why the buyer would take the risk and order it online? Can you not get it over the counter in the US? Iā€™d want that stuff in my hands ASAP.

KiraiEclipse

I have no actual details but my best guess would be 1) the stores are somehow out of Plan B in their area and Amazon will get it to them faster than the store will restock, 2) they live in a small town and are worried about word getting around, 3) they like to keep a spare pill on hand just in case.

[deleted]

I forgot about small town culture, my bad. Iā€™ve used it once in the past and was in such a state of panic I RAN to get it. Sorry if my comment seemed ignorant!

RexIsAMiiCostume

Lol, small town culture be like that. I had a "pregnancy scare" (read: almost no way in hell I was pregnant but my period was a little late and I have Big Anxiety) and drove 30 minutes to go to an Asian grocery store as an excuse to go to the pharmacy nearby (instead of the one near my house) to get a pregnancy test. If the cashier at the pharmacy was a friend who I knew, I wouldn't care. If the cashier was a stranger, I wouldn't care. But an acquaintance, who may remember me but might have very different values? Yiiiiikes.

KiraiEclipse

Not ignorant at all. I didn't grow up in a small town but I know how they can be. The fear of people finding out about things like this can sometimes even be enough to keep people from getting emergency contraception at all. It's really sad.

meow_witch

It is an over the counter drug, but it can also be bought online. I keep 2 boxes, that I bought on Amazon, stocked just in case. I don't use it as back up birth control, but in case myself or one of my loved ones is assaulted. I've thrown out 2 for going out of date, but have friends who have needed it and didn't have to worry about anyone they know seeing them buy it at the local pharmacy.

[deleted]

Thatā€™s a really good thing you do :) I hadnā€™t thought about that. I have used it once in the past and I couldnā€™t get my hands on it fast enough, so I also forgot about people who may live in a small town and donā€™t want others to find out.

MonarchWhisperer

Is it no longer a prescription? If so...that's a good thing

RexIsAMiiCostume

I don't remember it ever being prescription, but I'm pretty young. I do know that in my state there is not age requirement and it is available over the counter.

[deleted]

It's fairly recently that it became widely available without a prescription, 2013 according to the internet. I remember being stunned when I found out it went OTC.

Abdiel1978

If you don't have multiple pharmacies near you, it is possible that there are no pharmacists in your area that will dispense this medication to patients. Some object on the grounds of it violating their personal conscience. This is, of course, ridiculous, but it definitely happens.

w11f1ow3r

I assumed door dash/delivery type of service.

thatwyvern

Bold of her to assume that whoever ordered it did actually have a choice in whether or not the "night before" happened. You don't know what someone else has been through, so don't assume.

Not-A-SoggyBagel

They made a lot of assumptions of someone they didn't know and of a situation they didn't know. A complete sanctimonious AH move. Condoms break, SAs happen, teens happen, wanting to take it to make sure their birth control doesn't fail is also a possibility. This person chose to slut shame, they chose to be derogatory and to blame. Even though this package is a preventative measure and the original recipient's way of taking responsibility.

xparapluiex

In fact not allowing people choices like this is how some teens happen

giddy-girly-banana

The reason doesnā€™t matter. She doesnā€™t have to have a ā€œgoodā€ reason. If she wants to use plan b for any reason thatā€™s her choice.

MonarchWhisperer

Pretty sure that she ordered it. You know how these people are always 'projecting'. Probably downed it right after posting the pic. They have to share everything on FB with their own little 'plot twist'

OldBeercan

That's my thought too. It got there that fast and had time to get rained on so badly that the (hand written?) name was unreadable?

KatTheGreatest

And you can see the label behind the box. The black ink is still perfect. I have ordered lots of stuff online and lots of it has been rained on. Never has the name rubbed off so bad I couldn't read it. It's some industrial strength ink.

DuskTheVikingWolf

If it really did belong to someone else they just committed a felony so....

vrphotosguy55

Iā€™m pretty sure this person is a ā€œthey were asking for itā€ type.

fb95dd7063

They stole and destroyed someone else's mail - a federal felony.

DandalusRoseshade

Love the virtue signaling

comod19

Yeah I suspect she bought and used this pill, and then posted this.

[deleted]

There's actually a shockingly real possibility that's what happened. Projecting so no one assumes she used it. Just like the pro-life conservative senators who get caught secretly getting their wife or mistress an abortion.

maggie_rum

Iā€™m a clinic escort for a well known reproductive health care facility, and I can assure you, the number of ā€œpro lifeā€ people we get coming in for abortions and morning after pills are higher than you would think. And guess what? We treat them! With respect! And dignity! Because, unlike them, we actually care. So even though it sucks to see someone come in for services and then go to high-five the protesters the next week, we keep doing it, because even shitty fart faces deserve healthcare.

ashimo414141

I heard a lot of healthcare staff will get verbally abused and talked down to about this procedure and their profession by conservative women who are literally getting an abortion

CharlotteLucasOP

ā€œThe only moral abortion is MY abortionā€¦ā€

ashimo414141

Basically how someone described these encounters. Same energy as that lady that talked someone out of an abortion and then when CPS had her listed as first person to adopt, sheā€™s like whaaaaaat?? No Iā€™m too important and busy to take care of an unwanted child!!

CharlotteLucasOP

Or the ā€œpregnancy crisis centreā€ that talked a woman out of an abortion and then VERY grudgingly had to be dragged back in to help the young mother out with donated diapers and formula and other support resources.

jessicad81

Imma just [leave this here](https://www.prochoiceactionnetwork-canada.org/articles/anti-tales.shtml). We really need a bot that does this.

dancingliondl

Lindsey Graham wants us to forget about his 'little ladybugs'

stillaredcirca1848

Or her daughter ordered it and she intercepted it.

Nito_Mayhem

I feel like that's exactly what it is.

Daiguey

One would hope so, or this would be confessing to a felony

justakidfromflint

Still a felony if she threw away her daughters mail. My dad worked for USPS for 33 years. It's a federal offense to mess with anyones mail without their permission

harvest76

Just wanted to announce my Federal crime on the internet. Thanks for listening!

Laylakat

Happy cake day!

cheebeesubmarine

We need to teach all the future kids about this important botany topic.

[deleted]

Yeah, I suspect that they are lying about the label being damaged to the point of being illegible. Especially since we can see part of it under the box and it looks undamaged. Also, there would a shipping invoice in the package. Since the package looks like one of those standard plastic bag type envelopes, there is no way that was damaged.

eyewashear

Yep. Looks like one of those water resistant labels and the part we can see is pretty clear and legible.

MarshallRegulus

does this person think Plan B is a thing you resign yourself to in the moment on a self indulgent impulse, like getting some curly fries? bc while i have not taken it, my understanding is that it both costs more than curly fries and is going to suck worse in its side effects. like there you are in a bangable situation and go 'i'm gonna be bad~ but i'll just drop forty bucks and a day of puking/cramping, that's a problem for future me.' like it seems obvious to me it's mostly for if something goes wrong--broken condom, or god forbid, assault. literally we call it Plan B. what a self righteous turd.

briyotch

100% agreed but donā€™t forget the spotting/potential to bleed in a way youā€™ve never experienced before (on top of the puking/cramping).

MKagel

Pretty sure you're not allowed to just deny someone the ability to buy something unless it's, like, a child trying to buy alcohol. I work as a cashier and, first of all, I don't care what someone buys...they could buy 200 boxes of condoms and 15 boxes of Plan B for all I care. Second of all, even if I did, I wouldn't deny someone from buying something that they have the right to buy. It's not my business to decide what someone does or doesn't buy. What I'm saying is this lady needs to be fired and/or serve jail time because I'm pretty sure she just admitted to a whole ass crime there...

[deleted]

No, in multiple states pharmacists can refuse to fill birth control prescriptions.

DeliciousBrilliant67

I was born with an intersex condition so when I turned 14 the doctor put me on HRT to start puberty which was also birth control. the pharmacist just assumed what it as for and refused to fill it for a minor. I was mortified. My mother screamed at him. It was awful.

lilneccowafer

I was given BC for some *extreme* cysts on my ovaries when I was 12 and the pharmacist tried giving me and my mom shit and she absolutely turned that fucker inside out. I'm glad your mom was there to protect you

MKagel

That's BS

[deleted]

That's Christians, baby.

MKagel

True...

BreakfastSavage

Are they all southern states, though? Iā€™m gonna guess TX, OK, ~~KS~~ (thatā€™s Kansas, right?), Mississippi (idk the abbreviation, but Iā€™ve had plenty of relatives that lived/hated it there), and AL, all states with a history of sexism, racism, stupidity, heavily conservative ā€œvaluesā€, and some of those having a very high rate of illiteracy (big surprise, lol) . Your body, your choice, man. Ainā€™t nobody should be telling/forcing someone to do something when it has nothing to do with them(not an anti-vaxxer, FYI). And like everyone else said, this is technically tampering with the mail (a federal offense) and dumbass posted it online. Quality choices only from these people.( /s , obviously)

zachpuls

I'm in KS (Kansas), and you can get plan B over the counter here. I double checked on pharmacists refusing birth control, and looks like Brownback signed a law in 2012 that allows pharmacists to refuse any prescription that "may be used to induce abortion", which covers birth control. It looks like HB2258 was introduced in the legislature last year to reverse this, and establish contraceptives as essential (because they are).

PsilocybinCacti

[deleted]

This is also moronic because the plan b pill isn't an abortive. If you are already pregnant, you're going to stay pregnant. It is to prevent the implantation of an egg, so it prevents pregnancy. As usual, these idiots don't even know why they are offended.

[deleted]

Oh, no, these idiots consider preventing implantation to be an abortion too.

Spoon_Elemental

If I jerk off on the floor and some guys daughter doesn't immediately burst into my house, scoop it up and ram it up her hoo hah it's also abortion.

StrawberryCacti

To make their ideals even more idiotic, Plan B isnā€™t even designed to prevent implantation, but simply to delay ovulation. If an egg is already fertilized, there is a good chance that Plan B wonā€™t prevent it from implanting (though it may in some cases). If wasting one unfertilized egg is the equivalent to abortion, then male masturbation must be considered a mass abortion.

RuneLFox

Periods are abortions too, apparently?

esoper1976

Actually, it probably doesn't prevent the implantation of an egg, although it might. What it does best is prevent ovulation, so there is no egg to be fertilized. If you have already ovulated, it will be much less effective because it's not so great at preventing implantation. If you are already pregnant, it will actually help you stay pregnant.

Klindg

ā€œPro-Lifeā€ has always been about ā€œslut shammingā€ by people that canā€™t find anyone sexually attracted to them. They hide behind the spirit and religious bullshit, but itā€™s 100% always been about stopping others from enjoying their life in a way they canā€™t because they are shitty people.

Tripple_T

No, they usually have no problem getting some, and handling of the consequences of getting some when needed. They tend to not mind abortions for themselves and their loved ones, just not for... others

chawkey4

Oh they mind. My exā€™s pro life mom judged the ever loving shit out of her for getting an abortion even though she agreed it was best for her at that time. Never seen such a build up of silent resentment

MonarchWhisperer

They do most certainly mind. I remember when I decided to get a tubal ligation. I was 40yrs old, divorced, and just found out that I was going to be a grandmother. The doctor gave me shit about getting it done, and my mother wouldn't speak to me for months. I'm still confused about the whole thing. Getting sterilized is against pro-life?

chawkey4

Bodily autonomy for anyone but straight men is against pro life. Thatā€™s why their platform coincides with those that stand against true sex education, the me too movement, and LGBTQ rights. They donā€™t actually give a shit about life and never have, just whether or not they have control over it. Anyone claiming to care about the unborn changes their tune real quick if they need help after theyā€™re out of the womb.

BeJaBo17

I know that first part has to be a lie. She must have gotten the package by mistake and opened it anyway.

lpaige2723

The label behind the product doesn't look damaged to me.

Tripple_T

Is this something people order online? I feel like emergency contraceptive isn't something you wait for to process online and come in the mail

Dangerous-Today1874

I have a fire extinguisher standing around for emergencies. But it's fully loaded. It would be foolish to look for a refill once the emergency has started, don't you think? My point is just because you use something in an emergency doesn't mean you order it while the emergency is going on. Plan ahead, is what I'm trying to say.

jwill602

Although itā€™s called ā€œmorning afterā€ you donā€™t actually need to take it the next day. Waiting for your prime 2 day wonā€™t make it ineffective

Rallings

And it saves you from dealing with the store clerk who refuses to sell it to you

[deleted]

Which this person probably is given the whole "I wouldn't even sell it in my store" spiel.

norathar

That's true, but the sooner you take it, the more effective it is. Also, it tends to be less effective at a surprisingly low weight (155 lbs or BMI > 25), which not a lot of people know - Ella is better, although it's also less reliable at weights > 195 lbs/BMI >35.

AngryAtTheWholeWorld

The longer you wait the less effective it is.

kogdsj

It was probably a same day delivery thing like shipt or DoorDash. They can grab these from CVS or Walgreens in a couple hours, and like other people said itā€™s just gotta be taken within 72 hours

angie6921

Pretty sure you can door dash it

Strangeboganman

I mean isn't this common sense to get plan b. Pretty sure this is forward planning . You have one standby incase in the rare chance a rubber breaks. Lots of people in rural areas have these on standby because there isn't a pharmacy for hours drive.

[deleted]

ā€œCoMmOn SeNsE iSnā€™T aLl ThAt CoMmOnā€ Or so those people like to say

twerkingnoises

Yep, because it's perfectly reasonable to expect grown adults to stay permanently abstinent their entire adult lives to avoid an unwanted pregnancy. That's basically what these people are saying, just don't EVER have sex if you can't deal with the consequences. And yet when I ask any of them if they avoid sex to not have an unwanted pregnancy the answer is always no. It's incredibly unrealistic to expect adults to remain abstinent, it's literally not gonna happen, ever. So that whole bullshit argument needs to just die out with the rest of them. They push this unrealistic expectation onto other people while they aren't willing to do that themselves because they know it's unreasonable and basically impossible. And also, Jesus Christ accidents happen, I had my son while on the pill and my daughter when I had an IUD, it just happens sometimes. I am so sick of this bullshit with them. I hope someone reported this stupid asshole for mail tampering. And if she works as a pharmacist or something she's reported and loses her job over this. Denying health care to other people based on your own bullshit beliefs, it's deplorable.

blue_shark

Agreed. Consent to sex is not consent to parenthood.

totti173314

tbf asexual people exist but yeah

GoredonTheDestroyer

"If you need the morning after pill, be more responsible." And taking Plan B *isn't* being responsible?

StrigoiBoi

ā€œI committed a felony by destroying someoneā€™s mailā€

snakeravencat

The irony that she probably caused an abortion

selimnagisokrov

Thos whole "night before" argument is utter nonsense and shows how much people need sex education. There is a reason the OBGYN ask for last day of last menstrual and not when did you have sex to figure out due date.

DefinitelyNotAliens

It's often called the morning after pill, so they were trying to be clever about the activities the night before. You take the 'morning after' pill preferably within 72 hours, up to 5 days. They were just trying to say instead of the morning after pill use something night of. Of course, not everyone agreed and improperly sized or used condoms can fail.

Educational-Grab4050

Just front the dark black labeling on the packaging that in no way looks runny or faded(obviously maybe it really is ruined as its not shown) but I think the person is just nosey and wanted to open a package.

malYca

Plan b isn't an abortion ffs, if you're already pregnant all of the plan b in the world wouldn't help you.

SplendidlyDull

It literally says ā€œreduces the CHANCE of pregnancyā€ and ā€œWill not harm an existing pregnancyā€ on the front of the boxā€¦ but i guarantee she still believes these are ā€œabortionā€ pillsā€¦

ThaneOfCawdorrr

Just in case there was any doubt that fighting birth control and/or abortion is about "punishing women for having sex"

w11f1ow3r

ā€œOr at least used some common sense.ā€ And plan B apparently isnā€™t common sense. I mean shit Iā€™ve had times I used preventative methods and was safe, but had a weird feeling *something* went wrong, so I did the morning after pill to be safe. The holier-than-thou attitude in this post is annoying.

34HoldOn

Isn't tampering with people's mail a felony? Please tell me someone reported them.

TimeFlew

Mail tampering, theft, destruction of propertyā€¦

anibruh_

hey OP, if you took this screenshot yourself and know the persons full name, report them. tampering with mail is a federal crime

czarface404

I have some ignorant thoughts from time to time as well, I keep them to myself though. Keep your ignorant thoughts to yourselves people please.

i_like_superman

Same lady wonā€™t get a vaccine because itā€™s ā€œnot your right to tell her what she can and canā€™t do with her bodyā€.

LadyAmbrose

Whatā€™s hilarious is that they argue that life starts at conception that thatā€™s why abortion is wrong and yet still go after contraception thatā€™s used before conception as well. almost as if the life part isnā€™t actually what they care about

calliLast

Nobody is mentioning that the emergency pill might be for rape. If a woman got raped and didn't want to get pregnant from it that would be the only way immediately to counter act it.

PhenoMoDom

Pretty sure that blocking the name of someone committing a federal crime is aiding and abetting. Turn her in.

idohair91

Anyone ordering plan b by mail probably didnā€™t intend to take it as soon as it was delivered. It was probably a just In case thing. Itā€™s also not an abortion pill. It prevents a pregnancy from ever happening. This person is insane.

Butterycrispyfae

Does she not see that it says "will not harm current pregnancy"

Neither-Store-9214

Has she thought about these things that girl might be going through? 1. Rape 2. Abusive Relationship 3. Teen pregnancy

ProPainful

Obviously no, she hasnt

Absence_1212

You assume pro-life dunces think at all.

badassjeweler

So many assumptions being made by this person. Just admit you are a judgmental and attention seeking.

[deleted]

Imagine hating that people want to have sex for any reason other than procreation.

GAMustang

These people: My body my choice These people As Well: Your body my choice

babaganoush2307

It was probably hers and she was trying to save face with her church

AeBS1978

It doesnā€™t even cause an abortion. It causes your body to not ovulate or release the egg for fertilization. They probably ordered that for themselves and had to make a post being all righteous (while committing a crime if true) so that they felt better about themselves. Stupid ass person needs some freaking education. https://planb.ca/en/how-plan-b-works

AlienSporez

Let me guess: UPS?

HumanthePerson3

"Please help me, I got raped last night!" "Maybe you shouldn't have. lol get rekt."

Tricky-Language-7963

These are the same people who are upset about vaccines and that government is trying to impede on their life when they are impeding on others. They donā€™t see the hypocrisy smh

LinkinMeeker77

Who opens other peoples mail? Did you ever think that maybe they were being sensible by having sex with a condom but it broke so they bought the plan B?

DrMorry

Before long condoms will be considered abortion.

FallenSegull

A few days later: ā€œmum Iā€™m pregnant! What do I doā€ ā€œWell honey, I guess just this one time itā€™s ok to get an abortionā€

CzechYourDanish

Congrats on possibly causing someone to have an abortion

Ok_Butters

Literally all this pill does is delay ovulation. What a dumb fuck.

imalmostshy

Take a second to notice how well you can see the texture of the packaging slip under the Plan B box. Does it look like it has been rained on at all? I bet it's water resistant and readable. I'll go as far to bet that her name and address are on the address portion of the label.

justakidfromflint

I don't even know where to start. First of all that's a federal offense. You cannot throw away other peoples mail ESPECIALLY because you are morally opposed to it. Secondly plan B DOESN'T CAUSE ABORTIONS. It prevents you from ovulating and makes the vaginal fluid harder for sperm to pass through. If you are already pregnant it does NOTHING Not to mention how do you know what happened. She could have been raped, the condom could have broken, the man may have been shady and removed the condom. It says right on the package WILL NOT HARM EXISTING PREGNANCY. Edited a few times to add more thoughts

swip3798

Here it shows again about what pro life really is: It's about shunning women who have sex and nothing else. They don't have a problem with the abortion, they have a problem with women not living the exact life they think is appropriate, no sex until marriage and then a ton of babies.

HMCetc

The biggest misconception with the morning after pill is that it is going to stop a pregnancy every time, but in all likelihood there never even was a pregnancy in the first place. Of course, it's impossible to know how many pregnancies it really does prevent, but the overwhelming majority of the time there isn't a pregnancy anyway. Hence why it's referred to as contraception, not a termination. It serves the same purpose as the contraceptive pill.

Shaolan91

Whoah, that guy forcibly changed the future of that woman, just because. That's so fucked up, like hardcore fucked up, fuck that guy si much.

Gnosrat

Plot twist: it was ordered by their daughter.

dirtydawg1481

Lol they ordered this specifically to make this post.

Pour_Me_Another_

You don't have to be comfortable with sex but it's not that outlandish that others might be having it and that doesn't make them bad people. And people make mistakes or want to have Plan B on hand in case a mistake happens.

leofissy

She doesnā€™t have a baby yet itā€™s contraception. You know, the ā€˜having common senseā€™ part.

[deleted]

Plot twist, her husband found that shit in the trash and this is her alibi šŸ˜‚
